Chapter 50 - No More Pretending

Maximus' pov:

After a long and tiring meeting I managed to return to my office. I really hate meetings. They are always full of noise and completely ineffective. I mind linked Edward, my Delta, and asked him if he had sent the flowers. He replied that he had sent them hours ago. So why didn't she even call me to thank me? Αm I so unwelcome to her?

-"Maybe she didn't get them yet! You should call her back and check it out! Oh! And ask her if she liked them" Drako suggested.

-"You know something? That is an excellent idea!"

-"All my ideas are excellent" he said cockily.

I was ready to give her a call when Demetrio, my Gamma burst into my office in frustration. It isn't something he is used to, Ηe always respects and adheres to the hierarchy. I do not know what really caught him today. Surely it was something of extreme importance.

-"What the hell are you doing?" I asked him angrily.
