Chapter 18 - Chris' plan
Adelina's pov:
One week has already passed since Maximus' accident and yet he hasn't waken up. The two last days he has fallen in a coma. The doctors had ran a lot of tests but they didn't find anything that would have caused his current situation. He wasn't poisoned and he didn't have any underlying disease. He had only one severe wound that wasn't healing. And that is very weird in a werewolf's life. Although I was being informed everyday about his health, I didn't manage to see him again. Outside his door there were two guards who didn't allow no one to enter apart from the doctors, Christopher and that annoying red - headed, Jina.
At work everything ran smoothly. The new administrative system that Mario has established was faster and more productive and allowed me to finish nearly everyday on time without doing any overtimes.
