3 3. Other Side Of Vault 81

After talking to the system and getting a reward,Sico planning to go to the power room tomorrow and open the door to the vault's new section and explore it. Of course, he can get Curie to make her become his companion and get the research data from the terminal in the research room.

While Sico is planning how to get people to believe that he found it by accident and thinks that he should ask the Twins to join him on the adventure, his mom tells him that dinner is ready. Sico realizes that he spent an entire day thinking about the plan for tomorrow, he responds to his mother and eats dinner together with his parent.

While eating together, his parent reminds him to do his job seriously and never slack off at the job.

Lisa: "Sico remember tomorrow is your first day at the job, don't sleep late tonight so that tomorrow you can wake up early."

Jacob: "Your Mom is right Sico, your supervisor for your job at the vault is Mr. Calvin Whitaker. He supervises all maintenance at the vault, don't worry I hear he is a very nice guy from my colleagues and friends who happen to work with him at the present or previously."

Sico: "Okay Dad and Mom, don't worry I've already grown up and know what responsibility I have now."

After finishing dinner and talking to his parents, Sico went back to his bedroom and slept for the night so that tomorrow he wouldn't wake up late tomorrow.

When he woke up it was already morning, he took a shower and ate breakfast that his mom made for him. After that, he prepares for his first day at the job and goes to the mechanic's room to prepare for today's briefing and distribute what place needs some fixing for today.

After arriving at the place, he took a seat on the chair in the back so he could see an overall view of the room better. While waiting, Sico hoped that he could get the power room job so that he could access better to the secret door at that place.

While wondering what place he got to, one by one people arrived at the place and Mr. Calvin Whitaker asked for some attention from us because he wanted to explain the situation for the day and of course introduce the new people to all the old personnel.

Calvin: "Hey guys today we have a new person in the group, his name is Sico I hope you can treat the new guy nicely and Sico you can just call me Calvin doesn't need all those formal greetings with me."

Sico: "Okay Calvin, hello guys hopefully we can get work together."

Calvin: "Good, so people today the place that needs some fixing is too many. So when I call your name please go to the place immediately, okay then I will begin now…."

Sico: 'Well hopefully Calvin can get the power room for me.'

Calvin: "And lastly Sico you will get the power room station, that old forsaken power relay needs some fixing and I hope you can get it done today."

Sico: 'Great, I get that spot!.'

Sico: "Yes Sir!."

Calvin: "Good then, dismisses go to your spot."

After taking the assignment from Calvin, Sico goes to the power station room and accidentally meets the twins on the way and asks if they want to join him on some adventure.

Sico: "Hey guys, want to do some adventure together?."

Jenny: "Of course! You know that I can not resist some adventure."

Robert: "Hmm… want me to grab some weapon from the armory? Of course, if you think we need a weapon."

Sico: "Great idea Robert, we need some weapons like a security baton or some gun."

Robert: "Woah is the place that dangerous? Well k get it right now."

Sico: "Great, meet me and Jenny at the power station room."

Robert: "Okay see you there."

While Robert goes to the armory room, Sico and Jenny quick go to the power station room. After arriving at the place, Sico touched the wall on the right side below the stairs. While doing that suddenly Jenny asked him a question because she was confused about why he touching the wall.

Jenny: "Sico why are you touching that wall and why do you bring us to this place? I thought we were going to do some adventure."

Sico: "Well last year I accidentally got some old overseer terminal at the junk place. I successfully hacked it and found that there was some secret door in this place that led to a new section of the vault but I read that there was some dangerous creature on the loose in there, that's why our previous overseer Mr. Baht and Overseer Gwen doesn't know about it because the previous overseer before them keep it secret until he died."

Jenny: "What!? That's freaking awesome, that's why you accept Robert suggestion to get some weapon."

Sico: "Yup that's right."

While talking to Jenny, Robert came and brought us some weapons which are 3 security batons and 2 10mm pistols with 100 rounds for each pistol. Sico lets Jenny explain the situation to Robert and he continues to find the spot so that the wall could open. After 5 minutes he randomly touches a spot, the wall springs up and shows them some door.

Sico: "So guys are you ready?."

The Twins: "Ready!."

Sico: "Okay then let's go."

Sico touched the door panel to open it and they went inside together with Sico Robert up front holding the pistol and baton in each hand and Jenny at the back holding a baton.

When they saw what was inside the new section, they saw terrible conditions in that section like many broken walls or the floor being destroyed like there were some creatures that broken in from underground.

While they walk around to find something in each room they encounter, they see a group of hideous creatures that sleep below the stairs.

Sico: "Hey it's that a mole rat? But it's look different from what they show us in the book about the outside world now."

Jenny: "Maybe it's encountered some mutation? Or whoever lives here must be researching on that."

Robert: "Whatever the hell is that, we need to kill it. From what I know mole rat is an aggressive creature and will attack whoever on their sight."

Sico: "You're right Robert, Jenny stay back let us handle this. Robert, you attack the three mole rats on the right and I attack the four mole rats on the left."

Robert: "Okay then be careful man."

Jenny: "Stay safe guys, let me know if you need some help."

Sico and Robert walk slowly while crouching to find an advantageous position to kill the mole rats in a single attack. When they found the right spot to kill, they unleashed the attack on the mole rats giving them no chance to counterattack.

While attacking the mole rat, Sico hears a sound inside his head that tells him something.

System: [Ding! Killing 4 mole rats get 2 mole rats meat and 1 mole rats teeth.]

Sico: "Hey shouldn't I got four of them? Because I killed four mole rats."

System: [There is a chance of 50% you get a reward from killing the enemies and it will be random, so you can get it or not it depends on your luck.]

Sico: "Damn it! Fine at least I can get some reward from killing the enemies."

After killing all the mole rats, the group continued marching deeper into the new section. Then they found some kind of terminal and speaker beside the terminal, while hacking the terminal they found that the speaker was on and heard the voice of Dr. Penske. They realized that this terminal was connected to the hydroponic room, when continuing walk they find out there two more that leading to the depot and the overseer room. Then they realize that vault tech are doing some kind of experiments in here and spying on them all this years before the destruction of this place.

After that they continue explore and thinking that there many stuff that can still be useful for the vault and maybe expand the vault to this section so there will be more living space in the future.

On the way the group found some mole rats again and after killing them, the group found out that they had arrived at some place that had a bedroom, some kind of lab, and some cages for the mole rats.

The group saw that in one room, there was a large mole rat that was bigger than the others. Sico gives a possibility that maybe it's the leader of the mole rats group, so slowly they take a walk and unleash another attack on the big mole rat.

After killing the big mole rat, they explore the research room and find a terminal with some password on the side of it that will be used for some terminal but not in this room. After that, they got out of the research room the group searches for a terminal that could be used with the password they found, they found some terminal that was connected to a door that wasn't open.

They insert the password into the terminal and hope that could be the way to open the door. After seeing that there was an option to open the door, they were happy and clicked on it so that the door could be open.

When the door opens, they find some stairs leading upstairs so they continue walking in hoping to find out more about the secret of this place. Then they saw 3 lockers that were lying down on the floor with some candlelight and flowers on a vase on each locker.

They are curious about what is inside the locker and open it when they are shocked when see some skeletons in each locker with vault tech lab uniforms. When continuing to observe the skeletons, hoping to find some details about them they hear a sound sound that is almost like a robot that is calling to them.
