13 13. Heading Toward Sanctuary

After getting their noodle and paying 10 caps each, they quickly devoured them and then went to the bounty board to see if there was any job they could get and do it tomorrow. After taking 3 jobs again, they took a holiday from a job themselves today to visit every single place in the Diamond City until night and then went back to their house to get some rest.

The next day, they woke up and continued their own activity while Sico and Robert went to do the bounty job they took yesterday. On the way to the Diamond City gate, they meet Piper who wants to go out to and say hello to her.

Sico: "Hello Piper, do you want to go outside to?."

Piper: "Hey there guys, yup I want to find another topic for my newspaper headline."

Sico: "Oh? How about you make a headline about us? You know to make us a famous mercenary group beside after this we will leave Diamond City and we need all the publicity we can get."

Robert: "What? Really? You never told us about it."

Sico: "Well I want to tell you guys about it after we finish the bounty job today."

Piper: "But why do you guys want to move? I mean Diamond City is perfect than any other place even though the mayor is shitty."

Sico: "Well I want to make a base for us and Diamond City doesn't fit for me."

Piper: "So you want a base of your own?."

Sico: "Yup, so you want to join us?."

Piper: "Well I join you guys, I follow you guys and make the stories while on it."

Sico: "Are you sure? Did you have any combat experience?."

Piper: "Hey I have it, you should that to become a journalist in these goddamn worlds need some combat skills to survive if you don't want to have an accident."

Sico: "Well that's a good point, come on then."

After that they went together to do the bounty job, almost the same routine as yesterday just a little different from yesterday. For the first bounty job they have to kill a pack of mongrel dogs that live in a junkyard beside the Diamond City, after that for the second they have to kill a pack of ghouls again in an abandoned building, and for the last one to kill a group of raiders in a club. After finishing the bounty job, they collected the loot and then went back to Diamond City. After arriving at Diamond City, Sico and Robert part ways with Piper but before that, Sico asks something to Piper.

Sico: "Hey Piper wait a minute."

Piper: "What's up Sico?."

Sico: "How about when we move out from Diamond City to the place we want to go, you and your sister join us? I mean if you guys want to and I need your expertise in the future."

Piper: "Well I think about it, thanks Sico for the invitation though."

Sico: "You welcome, then we see you tomorrow maybe?."

Piper: "Sure see you tomorrow."

After part away from Piper, Sico and Robert went to the bounty office first to collect their reward and get 5.750 caps for it. Then went to Arturo and Molly's shop to sell the weapons, armor, drugs, and meat they got and got 10.550 for all of it. Then after finishing selling all the loot they got, they went back to their house.

After arrived at their house, they went inside then saw that Jenny already finished making dinner for them They ate together while Robert asked Sico about what he said to Piper.

Robert: "So Sico what do you mean about us moving from Diamond City?."

Jenny: "What? Moving from Diamond City?."

Robert: "Yup when we went to do our bounty job we met Piper and then asked her if she wanted to join us on the mission for publicity, Sico wanted us to become famous before we moved from here.

Jenny: What? Sico is what Robert says is true?."

Sico: "Yes that's true, I have thinking about that since before we left the vault."

Jenny: "But where do we move? You know there's many dangers in the Commonwealth."

Robert: "Exactly Sico, where is the place? Don't tell me you don't have a plan after talking about it."

Sico: "Don't worry before we leave the vault, I found a place from the map the overseer gave us and that is a perfect location I think to make a new settlement for us."

Robert: "Where is it then?."

Sico: "It's called Sanctuary and the location is up north from Diamond City from the map. And I think we need 3 days on foot to get there from here, so we need to bring and buy many supplies from here."

Jenny: Then we need to buy a Brahmin to help us carry the supplies and resources we bring."

Sico: Good idea Jenny, tomorrow you buy Brahmin for us and we depart in 5 days."

Jenny: "Yes sir!"

Robert: "What about me and Curie?."

Sico: "You and Curie buy supplies and resources for us in the market then stock them in our house for a while."

Robert: "Okay then, how about you? What do you do?."

Sico: "Well I check on Piper tomorrow if she is in or not, then go on a bounty job to collect some more money before we go."

Jenny: "Wait, Piper is coming with us?."

Robert: "Yup, Sico asked her if she wanted to join us for it and she thought about it first."

Jenny: "Hey Sico do you like her or something? It's not you like that."

Sico: "Huh!? I just ask her because we need her expertise in the future."

Jenny: "Oh really now?."

Sico: "Ugh just do what I say tomorrow now if you excuse me, I want to take a shower and then proceed to sleep."

Jenny: "Hey Sico don't go away like that. Hey Robert there is something wrong with him about Piper."

Robert: "Chill out little sis, maybe he fancies her or something."

Jenny: "Well okay then."

After that, all of them went to sleep because tomorrow was a busy day for them, in the morning all of them went to their own task with Jenny to buy a Brahmin, Robert, and Curie went to buy supplies and resources, and Sico went to Piper with doing a bounty job. When arrived at Piper's place, Sico saw her and Nat selling newspapers in front of their place.

Sico: "Hello there Piper, so what do you think about what I asked you yesterday?."

Piper: "Well me and my sister think that we should stay here first then join you guys after the place is settled."

Sico: "Okay then if you change your mind you know where to look for me."

Piper: "Okay thank you, Sico."

After that Sico went to the bounty board to take some job and went to do it. Sico just takes 2 jobs to exterminate a Mirelurks group and destroy a mole rat den. After finishing the two jobs, Sico went back to Diamond City and went to the bounty office to get the reward of a total of 3.500 caps. Then went to Molly to sell the mirelurks and mole rat's meat and get 875 for it after that he went home.

After arriving at his home, Sico asks Robert and Jenny about their task today. Jenny said that she bought 2 Brahmin for 4.000 caps and Robert said that he bought supplies and resources that were worth 10.000 caps then Sico told them about Piper's decision to not join them. After finishing their discussion, they went to eat dinner and then went to sleep.

4 days passed, and the group already preparing to depart to Sanctuary but before they went to the sanctuary they said goodbye to everyone they knew especially Piper and her little sister then went on to the Sanctuary. On the first day to Sanctuary, they went just fine there was no enemy on the way and casually looted some buildings along the way.

But on the second day, they met a group of raiders and saw a group of big man but with green skin color and some kind of dog but green too.

Jenny: "Hey guys look what's that?."

Sico: "From what I know that is a super mutant and their strength is very strong, have intelligence, and eat anything especially human. While the dog like creature is a mutant hound the pet of a super mutant you can call it"

Robert: "What? That's nasty dude. We should kill them but quietly so that they will be surprised and can not counterattack us."

Sico: "Yeah let's do it with this."

Jenny: "Hold on since when do you have a grenade?."

Sico: "Well I always keep it for emergencies like this."

Robert: "Then what are you waiting for? Throw it."

Then Sico opened the pin and waited for a few seconds then threw it at the group of super mutant. When the grenade reaches them it explodes and kills 7 of them but 3 survive with the mutant hound so Sico and the group open fire at them until they die. After that they continued on to the Sanctuary, and on the last day before arriving at the Sanctuary they met a shop called Drumlin Diner owned by Trudy with her son Patrick who was obviously a drug addict then they asked her if they could take a night in there.

Trudy says they can if they pay 20 caps per person, so they pay up and sleep there for a night. In the morning they said thanks to Trudy and went on to Sanctuary, when it was in the afternoon they finally reached Sanctuary. The Twins think that the place is nice and just needs a little bit of work like putting up some defenses, and then they continue to go deeper into Sanctuary when they see a living Mr. Handy who seems to be cleaning the area around a house.
