My Troubled Heart-Part 2

Jace's POV

I am glad that I saw Charles assisted Miracle in going outside the mall.

"Hey! Babe, I didn't expect to meet you here." Caitlin said and I can feel that she is angry with me, but she is trying her best to hide it from me. I am still embracing her and I looked at her in the eyes.

"Babe! I didn't even know that our boss will come to the mall today." I said, and I am seeking to catch Charles and Mira over her head, but I can't see them anymore.

"So Miss White is here?" She asked and turn her head.

"Fortunately, my colleague gets her out of the department store to allow us to have time together." I replied, and she is grinning at me.

"Do you realize that I am still angry with you, you didn't even bother to tell me you are here? If not for Trish, I wouldn't learn at all." She replied, and I touched her face and kissed her again, so she will forgive me. We get out of the mall rushing, and she drove her car fast.

"Hey! Babe, get it slow." I spoke.

" I haven't seen you for a long time, Jace, it is natural for me to be excited to have a private moment with you. Haven't you missed me?" She answered while looking at the road, I hold her hand and kissed her knuckles.

"I missed you so much, but you know I am busy with my work." I replied, and I felt so guilty. I seldom call her because my mind is occupied by Mira most of the time.

"You are serious about your revenge, Jace that you almost forgot you have a girlfriend waiting for you." Caitlin said, and it reminds me of my main purpose of why I became an Elite Bodyguard.

"There is something that I found out, Babe." I sighed, and she looked at me with sympathy.

"You can tell me about it, Babe." She replied.

"Yeah! Miracle White is not the person I used to think she was. I figured it all wrong." I said.

"What you mean, Jace?" She asked and I can feel her uneasiness.

"She is not the reason my father died, it was Amanda, her cousin, she was innocent and a victim too. She has a miserable life growing up and her father has no time for her. I found out she was very close to my father, and she underwent therapy when she lost my dad. My father was her only close friend and her only refuge. Her world collapsed when my dad died." I said.

"How did you discover all about that information, Jace?" She asked.

"She told me everything." I answered.

"I thought she hated you, how come she shared that kind of information with you?" I am screwed how can I explain everything to her?

"Look, I may not share this with anyone Babe because all about my work should be confidential, she has PTSD or Post-traumatic stress disorder after the kidnapping incident, but she doesn't want to go to hospitals anymore because her nightmares never stop. There is once they assigned me to her floor and at midnight I heard her screaming and I thought there were intruders and when I get inside her bedroom, she was crying and I saw the terror in her face. I just stand there and I don't know what to do. She was sobbing for how many hours and then when she calmed down, she told me about her awful experience." I explained all to Caitlin, but I omitted the part I lay in bed beside Miracle that night and I can't tell her all the intimate moments I spend with Miracle especially our picnic where she shared everything with me.

"Wow! We thought she had a wonderful life story. She is the daughter of one of the richest men in the country, yet her life is not a bed of roses at all."

"Yes! She has a lonely life Babe, her father is always busy and doesn't have time for her anymore, and she doesn't have real friends until recently, when she started her practicum, the one I told you I am also pretending to be a trainee just to guard her all the time, she doesn't have freedom like us." I said.

"Wow, hearing your words Jace makes me believe that you are no longer planning to pursue your vengeance?" She replied.

"I don't know, Babe, but there are still times I loathe her." I replied honestly, but I can't tell Caitlin I hate Mira because I am falling for her and I don't like the idea at all because I have her in my life.

" Babe, forget about your retribution. She is a good person, and she needs a friend. It is time to forget everything, as what you had mentioned earlier, she has a lonely life, give Miracle a break, okay?" Caitlin said, and I noticed we arrived at her apartment. We climbed out of the car and got inside her place hurriedly, and we are already kissing in front of her door, the keys are dangling in her hand, and we both panted after sharing a deep kiss. I get the key from her grip and open the door.

After locking the door, I carried Caitlin to the sofa and taste her sweet lips once more, I wanted to take the moment to savor her wonderful lips because lately, I forgot about her. I am doing everything I can to forget Mira, and focus my attention on Caitlin. She is beautiful, intelligent, and has a body that can make any man crazy about her. I love her scent that so familiar, we have been a couple for how many years, and I don't want to waste those moments, the promises I made to her under the starry night of our many romantic dates together.

Caitlin gets rid of my clothing instantly and I take my time to trace every curve of her body, I took off her long maxi dress unhurriedly, and I am still mesmerized by how beautiful she is. I kissed her neck and kneaded her breasts with my muscular hands. I love the way she moaned with every blow and every touch I give her. She leaned her head while my mouth claimed her hungry lips and together we shared a deep passionate kiss. We are both panting when I let go of her swollen lips and I trail sweet kisses all over her body. I am kissing Caitlin wildly while her hands are exploring my entire body.

"Jace, you become yummier!" She said in between her moans and I can't stand myself to chuckle. I wish to be drunk with Caitlin's body because I know from the back of my mind, there is someone I prefer to share this kind of intimate moment with. I wish to make Miracle moan with pleasure. I should avoid thinking about her, and I am trying.

I can't withhold it to myself, I ache for Miracle, and I am so afraid of this realization. I make Caitlin happy by giving her all the pleasure I can give, and I want to satisfy my craving. Together we shared the nectar of love. Excitement and satisfaction course through my mind and body as I claim Caitlin, and we joined together, holding on to each other with smiles on our faces, but I can't deny there is a desire that only Miracle White can fill.

"I love you, Jace." Caitlin said, while she rests her head on my chest. I am almost lost for words, and I am glad my voice came out.

"Love you too, Babe." I replied, and I put my arms around her and I kissed her forehead. I need to see Caitlin so that my stupid heart will stop aching for someone who is not my girlfriend. I am glad we meet today. It reminds me I have a gorgeous girlfriend and I don't require someone else. Miracle White is only a distraction, maybe it is time to propose to Caitlin, I need a ring first before I can propose.

Caitlin fell asleep in my arms and I dozed off for how many times, but I tried to stay awake to monitor the time, I wake her up and tell her I am going back to the manor. It is late already and I don't want her to drive back alone, at the end she begged me to take her car and returned it tomorrow since it is my day off, I will spend another time with her.

"I should not have fallen asleep Babe, we seldom see each other, yet I drop asleep after we made love." She commented and I lift her to my arms and hugged her tight.

"Hey! Don't bother I will find some time, so we can be together, don't worry after I finish the contract you will tire of me." I replied and kissed her lips again.

"Jace, you know I will never tire of loving you and for the record I always want you to be around, remember I asked you to stay but you choose this job and I love you that is why I don't have a choice, but to let you follow your dreams." She answered, and it made me ache for her.

"I know, Babe, and thank you for being so understanding for all the times I can't answer your calls and it goes to my voicemail." I replied.

"I know you became busy since they hired you, and remember I will always be proud of you, Jace." She said, and we kissed again for a long time before I got inside the car.

I drove fast and now that I met Caitlin again all our sweet memories flashed before my mind, and I am glad that I remembered how close we were to each other.  Caitlin is a good person, and she doesn't deserve to be cheated on. There is nothing between Mira and me, so nothing I should be guilty of. It is almost midnight when I pulled back at the manor.  I get inside and take two strides at a time and my steps faltered when I saw Miracle came outside from John's bedroom rushing she collided with me. I hold her waist and I hate myself because at this very moment I want to claim her mouth, but my eyes turned big when John went out calling Miracle. He is shirtless and my mind is in chaos. Why is Miracle was in John's room? Are they a couple now?  I felt a sudden pang in my chest and I have never been so jealous in my entire life.
