1 Chapter 001: A Boy Hidden in a Girl's Clothing

There are two kinds of guilt: the kind that drowns you until you're useless, and the kind that fires your soul to purpose"

Abi's Point of View

"Hey! We're going to be late! So get moving!"

It was an early Monday morning, the sun was almost rising towards its rightful place every morning days.

"What time is it?" Asking him with a little tiredness mixed in my voice.

"It's five in the morning and the flag ceremony starts at six!"

A yawn escaped from my mouth, I must be really tired from reading my favourite novels.

"We still have an hour to get ready so give me at least a few more minutes" I lazily said and was about to sleep again when he started pulling my hands which result in me falling off the bed which caused a huge thud on the floor.

I groaned in pain and glared at my brother who is looking down at me.

"Don't be lazy. You still need to fix yourself right? And it's gonna be almost an hour to finish" he asked with a little mix of irritation.

"Oh come on big brother, why must you hurt a cute little girl which is also your little sister?" Starting a little drama and ending my sentence with a little pout and some cute puppy eyes.

After that, my brother's expression became serious. He harshly sigh and started walking towards me and slowly lends me his hand.

"Are you really okay being a girl?" He sincerely asked with a serious expression.

And of course, I answered with no hesitations.

"Why of course, it's what our parents wanted. Why must I reject their wishes?" I asked innocently looking him straight at his eyes.

"Isn't it weird or uncomfortable?" He asks with a frown on his face.

"Nope, but I am happy because of my decisions and I don't regret it. My decision makes our mother happy" I answered back. Ending my sentence with a smile and accepts his hand as he carefully helps me up.

Of course, I lied. It's too uncomfortable for me.

As I got up, he responds with a heavy sigh and I watched him left my room quietly.

Once I heard his footsteps slowly fading, I immediately looked at my reflection in the mirror.

All I can see is a person with long black hair with a pair of charcoal eyes.

My appearances are hard to be complimented as a boy. I really looked like a girl.

I was about to go and take a bath when I thought of my brother, Alfonso.

Even though we aren't blood-related, he treats me like his own real sister.

I'm not their original family member.

Even though I'm a guy, my brother's mom wanted a baby girl but she couldn't get one anymore since she had become infertile.

She wanted to have a girl in the family for someone to achieve her dreams. Which is being a fashionista.

So here I am, practising to be a model and learn about fashion since I couldn't do anything about it.

I didn't want to be a fashionista of some kind, I just wanted to be a writer or a pianist but I can't...

I can't disobey my mother's wishes...

I don't want to go back to the slumps and wait for someone to give me food extras, beg for some coins from random strangers or wait for some food that will be thrown to the dumpsters.

I wanted to survive no matter what.

And due to my problem, it seems finding "love" will be difficult for me.

I mean...

Who will love a boy who dresses in a girl's clothing anyway?

"ABI! STOP LOOKING AT THE MIRROR AND STOP BEING DRAMATIC. GO AND TAKE A BATH RIGHT THIS INSTANT!" roared by my brother causing me to be surprised because he was standing at my door with a deadly glare.

I quickly nod and went inside the bathroom and sighed. He may seem to be a "LOVING" brother, oh yes note the sarcasm everyone.

But he seems to be an evil warlord when he is mad, it looks like he is ready to go and start and win the World War III.

I slowly looked at the bathroom mirror and looked at my reflection one more time.

And sadly smiled...

'Your now a girl, so act like one'

the single sentence which I always kept repeating to my mind every time I wake up. In short, I kept repeating it my entire life ever since I came here.

I smiled at my reflection once more, trying to cheer myself up.

To not be late for our school I started doing my morning rituals, organising my belongings for my school and started to head down to the dining area where my brother is currently cooking our breakfast and our lunch for later.

Mom and Dad are always away at work, so mostly in the morning and afternoon, it's always me and my brother who is here left in our house.

After eating breakfast with my brother and put our lunches in our bags, we set out together walking to our school, we didn't use the transportation vehicles and our transportation allowances that our parents gave us because we wanted to save some money for our wants or needs.

Even though our school is far, isn't walking a healthy exercise?

Yes, it is but due to the fact that it's really hot in here, you really need to have a baby powder and some colognes ready.

After a long walk, we have arrived at the gates of our school.

I sighed and started to head inside with my brother.

But I still do feel nervous but I don't know the reason why...

I tried to calm my mind with a word I always say

I mean...

What could go wrong?

This is your "CUTE GIRL" Abril Zulmanēnga. Who soon will be starting his own story and now ending this chapter with a "CUTE" smile and a big heart and I thank you! \(^O^)/
