15 Her Ability

Eris was always independent. She learned shortly how to feed herself when she was young. She know how to cook a little but her food was always served as they were afraid that she would get burnt. She was precious to her grandfather because of her ability.

"Say, 'ah'." He said.

"What?"

"Open your mouth."

Eris did as she felt something was being fed to her. She chewed the steamed fish carefully as she tasted the amazing flavors.

"Good?" He asked.

"Yes,"

"Smoked fish. I cook it myself." He said proudly.

She chewed carefully.

"It's delicious."

"Wait, I have to thoroughly check if there are fish bones."

By placing her hand over Gray, she could see what he was doing. He looked up at her and smiled as he checked if there were fish bones that would harm her. He's handsome although, in her vision, he's a little blurry. She was dreaming of him many times and she started becoming guilty for what she did that day.

"Are you alright, love?" He fed her another fish and she enjoyed it.

"Uhuh,"

He patted her hand over his thigh and Gray fed all of the fish for her. The man would give his all for the person he loves. And she wished that she never knew him this way. She doesn't want to hurt him or anyone but she has a choice.

"It's finished." He told her.

"I'm already full and I haven't finished my plate."

He chuckled as he kissed her hand. She couldn't help but smile.

"Did I eat all of it?"

"Oh, you do. It's meant for you."

They continued eating as she finished everything on her plate, not wasting food. Then, they chatted more over the table, more touching. Eris wanted to hold his hand or just hold him to admire his handsome face through her vision. It's only limited and it will give her a big headache later. She doesn't usually do it but she wanted to see him more as she started getting clingy toward him. She hates it but she can't help herself.

Gray took her to her bathroom as she got ready. She brushes her teeth after she had searched for the toothbrush, takes a bath and the maid helps her choose a dress. Then, Gray drives her through electric bikes to the mansion. It was ten in the morning and the kids were already in chaos in the playroom. Kaiden quickly ran to her and hugged her, the same with Benny, Calli, and Quinn.

"I will leave you here, okay? Is that alright with you?" He asked softly.

"Yes," She looked so happy as she let the kids lead her to the sofa. The kids started decorating her hair and asking her a lot of questions as Gray left.

Gray entered Harvey's study room. He sat down with everyone at the conference table as he eyed Johanna and Connor. The two were grinning at him. He cleared his throat as he looked over Keira, Harvey's sister. They are still waiting for others. Shortly, Leon A.K.A Chameleon, known as an assassin that Harvey built when they were in tough times, enters the room and relaxes.

"Everyone's here?" Gray checked Terrence on the other line and Ace. The two were known as the greatest assassin as well now serving the King of the Paradis Evergarden.

"Since we haven't found the spy that they planted on us, we need to be cautious." Harvey started. "They started moving closer and closer to the Air Gem. Air Gem has clairvoyance and can grant it to anyone. This is why they needed it."

"Clairvoyance, like how the Phoenix Empire does?" Gray asked.

"Yes, indeed." Harvey took out an old scroll. "This came from Dragon and the scrolls indicated the clans connected to the Phoenix. According to history, these gems were a gift for these tribes to be the guardian of this Paradise. The fire gem was granted to your great grandparents as the air gem was granted to another tribe. Unlike your tribe, most of them received great power. But according to this, a generation specific to this year," He pointed to the year 1994. "A child will be born with great power of control. I believe that they have it. Whoever that person was, I think he or she was born with that power." Harvey said as he looked at him. "Tell me, did you see a girl or boy, probably anyone that they are hiding or protecting preciously?"

Gray thought deeply as he tried to dig into his memories.

"I will try to seek for her. But if they have him or her, I think they are trying to block me. My mother said that a girl will be born with that extreme ability. She can foresee everything with her touch. She can manipulate everyone's mind."

"That's superb," Keira said as she crossed her arms. "It only means that they can ruin us again."

"Right," Victor crossed his arms. "If they are using her, we might not be able to kill Lukas II and Luke."

MJ tilted her head as she stared at the documents that Harvey had gathered.

"I think it's a female. They can easily use her to manipulate anyone from our empire. I mean, they can date Gray since he's desperate."

"Are you implying that it's my girl?"

"I might." MJ crossed her arms. "She's adorable and every kid loves her. Don't you think it's odd?"

"Love, she can't control her mind."

"But she can manipulate! It's close to that."

Gray thought deeply as his heart ached if it was true. But he will prove to them that she's not. She's a sweet person and she's just lonely. They all looked at the live footage in the playroom where the kids were busy making Eris beautiful. She's hugging her babies and kissing them. The smile on her face could see how happy she was.

"You guys think that it's her?" Gray asked.

"We will gather enough evidence from people close to us," MJ said. "I didn't mean that you can break it off with her. As long as she won't endanger our children."

"I understand." Gray knew well how protective MJ was of her kids and other kids. She got a miscarriage and was assaulted, then she nearly lost Kaiden. It won't happen twice or another. He took the documents.

"Gray," Johanna turned to him. "You can try blocking anyone trying to snoop in your head, right?"

"I—I am still working on it." He told her.

"Great, then. While we are at it. Let's have fun. I think Eris is not that bad. I can identify a two-face bitch right away and most of the women that Gray dated were two-faced whores." Johanna was frank as ever as she didn't hold back her tongue. Connor quickly shoved a donut in her mouth.

"It seems that we are going to find out how innocent she is," Gray grumbled. "I'm taking my girl out. Report to me if she did something odd to the kids. If not, then we should respect her."

"We respect her." Keira saluted as Violet nodded to agree.

"Then, the meeting adjourned," Harvey said as everyone stood. Gray stood with the documents with him. Then, he ran back to his house first to keep it. He put it in his vault as he ran back to the mansion. He approached the kids and removed the clips from Eris's hair.

"Okay, kids. I'm taking my girl back."

"We play," Benny pouted at him.

Eris giggled as Gray took Kaiden from Eris's lap and Benny climbed to Eris's lap again but he had to take him out as it became a circle. Eris hugged the kids and kissed them and didn't care where it landed.

"Love, come now."

"Can I play with them again later?" She asked.

Gray looked at the kids. It doesn't seem that she's manipulating them. They approached Eris because she's indeed beautiful and she's kind. Gray took a wet tissue and wiped her face. Dione, MJ's firstborn, approached them with a make-up remover that they own. These kids are something.

"What did they do to you?"

"They were telling me about fishes and the animals in the estate." She mumbled.

"We will go there later but for now, I promised to buy you a pair of running clothes."

Eris touched his face while he was busy removing the make-up from her face. Her fingertips carefully ran down from his forehead to his nose.

"You have a beautiful nose."

"You too." He stared at her for a while as he bent down to kiss her lips when suddenly a little boy tugged his shirt.

"I go." Kaiden insisted. He didn't even look down at him.

"Nope. You are staying here."

"I go, peasseee"

Gray takes Eris's hand as he leads her outside.

"Kaiden, stay with your sister."

"Aiden~~" The little Olivia crawled toward Kaiden. "Kaka~~peesseee."

Kaiden pouted as he helped the little girl up and carried her although the baby was quite heavy.

"Let's go." Gray walked briskly dragging Eris out of the room. She giggled and held his hand tightly since she doesn't have her walking stick with her.
