10 A Move

Gray was unable to stop this time. He just occupied her space. She was stunned that he prepared the bathtub for her with the essential oils that he bought with him. She just does her usual thing. She soaks in the bathtub while Gray is setting up the table.

"I got some great ice cream here. It was expensive. But I saw that you got ice cream from DQ. Well, darling. I got something tastier."

She came out wearing her pajamas. Gray was silent for a while and stared at her. He quickly approached her and fixed her top. Then, he took the towel and wrapped her hair with the towel. He gaped at her natural beauty upon smelling the tea tree oil mixed with lemon from her.

"I have to keep myself away from you." He said as he turned back from her.

"Why?"

"I will sleep on the couch tonight. I just want to see you sleep."

"Stalker now?" She asked.

Gray sighed frustratingly as he indeed felt like a stalker. He doesn't want to insist but after that day when she nearly got hit by the car and after their date, he can't let her go. The kids love her and he's sure that the boys that he adopted would love her as well. He stayed with her over dinner and they watched a movie while eating the ice cream cake from DQ. She listened to what was happening that had a narration on it. It's new on Netflix. Some of it doesn't have that kind of audio.

She giggled at the funny scene as she ate more with the ice cream.

"You love that one?" Gray asked.

"Yes,"

Gray took it from her as he gave the other ice cream.

"Try this one."

She used the spoon to scoop it out and brought it to her mouth. The flavors exploded in her mouth. She hummed and nodded her head.

"One of the expensive ice creams. Someone I know owns it."

"It's delicious."

"Yes, now you have two delicious ice creams as your favorite."

"I love that one but, I will have this." She said.

They eat ice cream until both of them get cold. He took the blanket and covered it for them. Gray snuggled to her as she didn't mind it. After placing the ice cream back in the freezer, he helped her tuck it in as he set it up on the sofa. She turned to him sideways as Gray lay down and watched her. He's falling so fast. Maybe she's his soul mate and he just doesn't care about her past.

"You can sleep here."

"No. I can't."

She giggled.

"I won't bite."

"If we sleep alone together in bed. Do you know what will happen?"

"Yes. We will be sleeping."

Gray got up as he crawled toward her and he put the pillow between them.

"I have to tell you something." Gray reached her hand. She lent her ears while waiting for his words. "I have kids. Two teenage boys." She blinked as she didn't expect him to say it. "They didn't come from me. They are adopted. It's quite complicated in our family but my cousin supports us. These boys are in an academy and it's a boarding school. I will visit them on Friday afternoon to pick them up."

"Okay,"

"So, when we get married~~"

"You seem to have already decided, huh? What if I say no?"

"Hey, I am handsome." He laughed. "I'm kidding. But really, I want to marry you and this is not a joke. I am telling it straight to you."

She was silent for the whole minute. Then, she lay on her back.

"Let's just sleep."

Gray watched her turn her back from him. Somehow, he thought that everything was a wrong move and he was moving fast. He wasn't eager to have a wife but he was eager to marry her as he was afraid that someone would catch her not him.

Gray fell asleep quickly upon closing her eyes, tired from driving. But somehow, he woke up in the middle of the night. He heard her sobbing. He didn't move since she would know.

He turned his head to her as she had her back from him. He didn't know why she was crying but seeing photos of her dog with her, he now understood why. Hearing her sob and sniffle somehow breaks his heart. This is one part that he hates. She sat up as she searched for something on the table. She reached for the tissue and wiped her snots. Gray sat up as he stared at her back.

He was silent as he took a cup of water for her. He sat beside her and reached her hand.

"I'm sorry." She whispered. "For waking you up."

"Don't be sorry."

He patted her back as she drank it. Then, she used her other hand to reach the side table as she placed the cup over it.

"Do you miss someone?" He asked. She nodded her head and raised her hand to search for it. He reached both of her hands and brought them to his face. "You can imagine that I'm your dog." He said. She giggled and nodded her head. "You can hug me if you miss someone."

"Gray," She whispered.

"Hmm?"

"We can get married if you want."

"Darling, it's not what I want that matters. It is what you want." He scooped her face. "Tomorrow, I will help you move out of this hotel room. We can start with living together. I know that it's too soon but living together would help us know each other better."

"Tomorrow?"

"Yes, we can go and meet the kids. Your room back in my house will be fixed according to your likes. Then,"

"Gray, we can go now." She mumbled. "I honestly don't want to stay longer." She whispered.

"Okay," Gray gently adjusted closer to her so he could hug her. "Okay, I'll help you pack."

Griffin listened to them through the bug that he installed. He thought that they will be fucking but Gray was a gentleman. For years after his grandfather was killed by that killing machine they called Hannah Grace, they suffered a great deal as they wouldn't be able to buy things they want. But Janella had a backup plan ahead.

"Tsk." He clicked his tongue as he shook his head. "This is too fast. But it is better if she's in that man's house." He mumbled. "He had kids?" He grumbled. "Probably those brats that escape from the lab. The Killing machines. I think we just need to get rid of them. 002 and 001 are still available."

"What are you mumbling about?" Janella Lefebure asked as she opened the fridge.

"Nothing. I was thinking that since 001 and 002 are boring, we can compete with Gray's kids. That guy is already in love with Eris after he fell out of love with Hannah Grace."

Janella opened the bottle of beer as she tilted her head. They both know Gray as he grew up with them in the Lefebure Mansion back in Russia. He's a psychiatrist as he helped everyone with those mental issues. But they recently found out that he's the greatest spy. Although it was given that he was a spy, they thought that they already had his heart and loyalty and what's more surprising was, that he was a son of a Phoenix. This means that he can foresee the future and other disastrous events. He can foresee them.

"Hmm, I think he's aiming for a baby with Eris." Janella shrugged. "But that girl has no chance to see ever again."

Griffin stopped as he thought deeply.

"I know that I am dumb sometimes but don't you think that they can provide Eris good stuff? They had high technologies even in medical."

"Maybe," Janella rolled her eyes. "I don't care anymore. Get that girl worked and she shouldn't find out that her dog is dead."

Griffin nodded his head as he listened to the couple carefully. They were just packing a few things. Gray sounded careful toward her and he felt a little bad that they were forcing Eris to do this. But it's the only way to get to the gems and bring back their wealth. Now that Luke, their oldest brother, a narcissistic psychotic one was dead, killed by that woman that is now the Queen of Paradis Evergarden, they have to work their ass off until everything goes according to their plan accordingly.

He removed the headphones as he looked at Eris's photo together with her Golden Retriever named King. They grew up together and he was a gift from their grandfather. Poor Eris. She's been waiting for her dog but the dog passed away because he's old and he died silently. They didn't kill the dog but the dog died because of sorrow.

"I am so sorry, Eris." He grumbled. "Everything is fucked up now."

He picked up the keys as he drove to the hotel which is just nearby. He saw Gray's car and he followed it casually. He's sure that that guy won't notice him since he's busy with Eris. They picked up food first.

"Damn," Griffin rolled his eyes. "Why food every time?" he grumbled. "You should buy her Channel and stuff."
