"Where are you taking off to Jake?", Mike asked in a teasing voice but turning his head, he told Mike that they were going to meet the next day as he had to settle his issues personally. He was glad that his advice had penetrated deep down his heart and he was able to realize that Martha is a good woman.

Parking her car, she sat inside for a few more minutes thinking of everything but her mind was so far that she had not thought of checking up her phone to catch a glimpse of the numerous missed calls that Jake had left for her.

She stepped out of her car heading for the reception of the building so as to take the elevator and get to her house. On reaching the elevator, she wanted to take out her phone to place a call accord to her sister but there was a thin line of tiredness that was holding her so she just continued to go up to her apartment.
