21 Sharing Bed with Saito-san

The singer took a quick shower, put on another clean uniform. Of course, he wouldn't sleep naked. And Haruki went to lie on his side of the bed, getting right on the edge.

Unnecessary precaution, since there was a distance of two bodies between them.

The long day that started with Honda-san's early morning broadcast ended with the meeting after Miyu-chan's unexpected visit.

Haruki was aware he had inside information. Some told by Kenta, others by Miyu-chan. Others by the group and also by Honda-san. He started to think about how to put them together and tried to imagine how the dynamic would happen. Restless with so many thoughts, he rolled over in bed.

THUUUD!

A loud, hollow sound spread across the room.

Haruki didn't even notice when his rolling body found nothing under him and he fell out of bed with a crash, flattening his ass on the floor. The singer's shame was greater than his pain.

Worried if he had woken Saito-san, Haruki probed the bed from the floor. Seeing that the adventurer was in the same position, breathing calmly, Haruki found with great relief he hadn't. 'Oh, I'm glad Saito-san is a deep sleeper!'

Almost in slow motion, Haruki climbed on the mattress, lying down again.

His ass throbbed with pain from the impact. He massaged the area a little, staying in the fetal position. Sleep was slow to come.

When Haruki finally woke up in the morning, he realized he was on the other side of the bed. All spread out looking like a starfish, clinging to Saito-san. His arm went over Saito's neck and one leg was wrapped around his.

"If you're cold, go get a blanket, Haruki," Saito-san said sleepily.

Haruki released him by rolling back to his own side of the bed,

"I'm sorry," he murmured, feeling his face on fire.

"Hahaha," Saito laughed, turning to face Haruki,

"Good morning. Did you sleep well?"

"Good Morning. Yes, your bed is very comfortable," Haruki replied with a grateful grin. It was still dark. He didn't want to get up,

"Is Saito-san going to get up yet?"

"Hm, why? You're kidding me! Do you just sleep well when you're spooning? Hahaha, okay. You can hug me again. I will lie down a little longer. And it's Saito. We are quite intimate. We can let go the formalities," the adventurer stretched, putting his arm under his head and looking at his bedmate,

"About yesterday. I understand your faith in your family. But Jun-san may not have anyone. Not someone so close. The others I don't know. Yours is the best family relationship in this group," Saito said, staring at Haruki.

The singer could see that there was sadness in his words,

"Oh, I didn't think about this possibility, I'm so dumb! It's true, I'm very close to my parents. This was my biggest concern. Let my family know I'm alive. I thought everyone had the same concern. But now I realize I should have asked for something else," Haruki explained. Out of curiosity, he asked,

"Isn't your relationship with your parents good, Saito?"

The adventurer grimaced and sighed before replying,

"I'm the son of a Judo legend. I have a much older brother. And other brothers and sisters with close ages. Anyway, a big family. My father always demanded I must be the best," he hinted he would continue to speak, so Haruki positioned himself more comfortably to listen to him, interested.

"I started climbing early, with my father's friends. At 18 I went on an adventure with a group, to another country. And we are stuck in this country for political reasons. We were not really detained, we just couldn't go back. In this period, I related to that person. A senior with a significant age gap. The others disapproved of the attitude. When we got back, they told my dad. He didn't accept what happened. We fought. He kicked me out of the house."

Haruki was unable to suppress an expression of surprise and distress, and Saito nodded, with a subtle, sad smile,

"Yes. It was so. I left with nothing. I didn't have a financial reserve. So I needed to work hard. I went on one excursion after another. My name grew fast in mountaineering," and at that point, his smile seemed more resigned than happy. Probably because of the reasons that made him work so hard for it. The account continued, "I ended up opening a store. It was a cheaper way to buy the products I used. And to make sure the entire team would use only high-quality products. The store made a profit. And I opened two more in strategic cities."

"Ah, congratulations!" Haruki didn't quite know how to take the succession of ups and downs in the adventurer's life, but he thought he should congratulate Saito for the hard work.

Saito-san gave a small nod, accepting his comment,

"But… I realize I'm running from the question. I haven't spoken to my father since that day," Saito finally answered the question sadly. He no longer condemned his father's decision. He seemed to have understood and forgiven this father.

The sad look of his new friend made Haruki's heart ache. The singer couldn't truly imagine what it would be like if he could no longer speak to his father.

Compassionate, Haruki approached Saito again and hugged him, patting him on the back.

Perhaps his training as an idol would make him a person with more freedom to touch his group mates. Haruki knew that most people were not used to it. But he said what he thought he should say,

"See, I'm sure your father is following your adventures and your success. He must be very proud of you. And being too proud, he doesn't know how to give in. So as soon as we get out of here, you will have this incredible story to tell. And this is going to be your excuse to call your dad and ask him to see you. You apologize, and make up. He's waiting for you. I'm sure, "Haruki said while still hugging Saito. He pulled away enough to see if his words had comforted him.

The adventurer had red, damp eyes,

"You are so innocent it hurts," Saito released him. His words surprised the singer. Wiping his eyes, the adventurer said,

"I tried to get closer. A magazine he subscribed, interviewed me. They used a photo of me climbing to illustrate the cover. I thought, 'this is a good time to be back'. He wouldn't let me in. Years later, I went to my younger sister's wedding. He threatened to leave if I stayed. He hates me," Saito looked at Haruki with a sad smile and finished, looking directly into his eyes.

Haruki couldn't look away.

"People with your heart are rare, Haruki. Don't let them know. Or you will be in this dome forever."

Silence fell between them, but Haruki was still looking at Saito, thinking of his words.

The adventurer ran his hand through Haruki's hair, stopping at the back of the neck. With a fluid movement, Saito pulled him close and kissed his mouth!
