"Give it back to me !" I screamed after my brother Jayden as he went running off with my phone. I was filming a tiktok or should I say I was trying to make one. It turns out really bad as expected. I don't know why even I tried. I already knew it was going to suck like everything other things I did . I guess I was just having a little false hope. The girls at school are making them and it's really good. People like it. So I guess I thought I'd be cool too if I make tiktoks like them. I should've never do it. I literally died from cringe when I tried watching the tiktok I made. I didn't want to ever see it and so I was gonna delete it. But then as if things couldn't go any worse, my scheming brother happens to see me in the process. And he saw it as another chance to embarrass me in front of his friends. Some of his friends are in our house . They slept over yesterday. They said they're discussing something about their upcoming game or something. Luckily Shawn wasn't there . He left yesterday. I heard them saying he had a appointment at home.

So as you see my name is Jeneya , a girl not so good at anything really. My looks are average to say it nicely but I know deep down it's probably worse than that .I look like a nerd with the spectacles and everything. But unlike the typical nerd , I'm not good with my studies. I don't have any talents either . I suck at painting, sports, music . It's safe to say I suck at everything I tried. My only concern right now is not to disappoint my parents more than they already are. I don't blame them for being disappointed. Because you'll see as soon as you meet my brother.

Jayden is my twin brother and he's like the opposite of me . He has the looks and he's also in the basketball team . He's the type of guy that girls swoon after without lifting a finger . I can't keep track of the girls asking me to set them up with him. He's not that great in studies but still better than me . It's like we're yin and yang . He has all the good qualities and me all the bad one's.

Regardless I'm glad he's there . We used to go in different schools . That time I was bullied really bad . But as soon as he transferred to my school and people found out we're siblings. They magically became nice to me. The girls stop bullying me and even tried to bribe me into setting them up. I'm sure , I'd still be bullied now if he's not here . He also protect if other people tried to hurt me . Despite being annoying and embarassing me all day my brother is really protective of me . He take care of me and he's always there when I need him . And he's nice to me when necessary. One time , some guy was calling me names and harrassing me. Jayden beat the shit out of him. That was the first time he ever got suspended. It's funny how peaceful he seems but he won't hesitate to stand up for me . And that's why even though he's annoying sometimes ,my parents like him more and I think it's unfair that he is the prefect one while I'm the ugly duckling. I'm still really grateful that I have him in my life. I have never wish that he wasn't here .

" Guys! See who's making a tiktok ." I heard Jayden shouting to his friends. I silently curse him and went to my room . I don't want to hear them making fun of me .

" Wow! Jeneya is making a tiktok? Let me see." I suddenly heard a voice that's so familiar. It was Shawn. What's he doing here? I thought he has an appointment. He wasn't there earlier. When did he get here? This day couldn't get any worse. It's embarassing enough that other people are gonna see that video. I don't want Shawn to see it out of all people. I had the biggest crush on him ever since the first time I saw him. Everything about him is just prefect. He has deep blue eyes and dark brown hair. He's handsome, he's smart and he's nice . What more can a girl ask for? He tops the class almost everytime and is the captain of the basketball team. He's the prefect son. I heard he even has the voice of an angel . I've never heard him sing though.

And unlike every prefect people he's really nice . All of my brother's friend see as Jayden's dorky sister. They're really protective of me though, they treated me like a little sister even though we're in the same grade . I'm sure Shawn also see me like that. That's why I never told anyone about my silly crush. I'm sure Jayden won't like the idea of me dating his friends not that I really care about it or that it'll ever happen. They're way out of league. It's better to know my place.

 " Jeneya ! Honey! Come down . It's time for breakfast. You don't want to be late for school. Do you?" I heard my mom shouting from the kitchen.

I dreaded to see my brother and his friends. Especially Shawn, it's too embarassing. They must be eating there . I sighed. It's not I can avoid them forever. I'm bound to face them anyway. We're going to school together.I might as well do it now .

I take my backpack and went downstairs.

" Hey mom! What's for breakfast?" I asked.

" Bacon and eggs . Your brother said you wanted some." Mom replied.

" Thanks mom!" I smiled.

Jayden's using my name again. I don't get it. He's obviously the favourite child. Mom would still make it even if he didn't say I wanted them. But I guess it's nice to see Mom cares about what I like. Pushing the thoughts aside I ate it up and went to the car with the guys.

" Hey Jen! I really like your tiktok. I don't get why you don't want us to see it . It's great." Shawn said smiling at me .

" Really? I thought it was really cringe." I stammered. He's always so nice. That's what makes me fall harder.

" Yeah it's not bad . But don't post it . " Danny said .

" What's that supposed to mean? " I asked.

" Nothing just don't. But you don't have to be shy around us . We got you . " He continued.

Danny is like the talkative guy in the group . He's a little shorter than the rest and is a redhead. I'm actually most comfortable with him. He just makes me feel more free.

 I like all four of my brother's friend. They're nice to me. Aside from Danny and Shawn. There's Ian and Maichial. Ian's the quite guy . He only speak when needed and is really peaceful. He's the saint of the group. He has such a sexy accent. I didn't know where he get that from though.

Maichial is the smart kid . He always knows what to do and he's also smart in studies. I didn't have much contact with him . But I felt tension between him and Danny. 

I don't have any close friends so I really enjoy their company. It makes some girls hate me though. They think I don't deserve to be hanging out with them . In my opinion, they're just jealous. Bet they wish they were me .
