What Happened? (2)

Clara had been busy pacing back and forth in her room. She was increasingly worried about Mr.K, especially when he said that she could not leave Mr.K's house.

What is happening? And why can't Clara leave Mr.K's house? Would anyone put her in danger if Clara walked out of the house? Then what about Mr.K?

All the questions we're getting around in Clara's brain. There was a hint of guilt Clara felt as she recalled the worst possibility Mr. K had caused her.

Clara sat on the edge of the bed and tried to close her eyes and neutralize the roar of her breath that had been irregular.

After she felt calm, Clara slowly opened her eyes and turned her gaze around her.

"Is he all right?" complained Clara quietly, asking herself.

Shortly after Clara fell silent, Clara's cellphone rang again. Clara immediately took her cellphone and picked up the phone without seeing who was calling Clara first.

"Hello."

"Hello, hi Clara .... are you coming to the Catwalk show at hotel H tonight?" asked a young man from across the phone.

Thump!

'Not Mr. K, Ugh... you should have seen it before picking it up,' Clara muttered to herself.

"I ...- I don't know ... maybe, " Clara answered casually.

"How about I pick you up?"

"No need."

"What's the matter? You came with your assistant?"

Clara is biting her nails. She was confused about what to say to Jackson.

"H..- he usually delivers."

"If he can't take you ... I'll take you, just give me your address."

'Why does he seem pushy ... Wait ... Mr.K said he doesn't obey someone other than him. Doesn't that mean Mr.K told me to be on guard and told me to refuse another invitation?'

"Sorry I can't ... it seems like I have urgent things to do. I'll close first."

Clara closed the phone unilaterally, and after that, Clara tried to turn off the cellphone she usually uses personally, but still activated the cellphone she used to communicate with Mr.K.

In another place ...

"Damn, the girl avoided," said Jackson.

"Have you got the location?" Jackson continued to someone who was tracking Clara's whereabouts.

"It's not like Clara occupies a house that has a radar jammer installed so we can't easily randomize her location, boss."

"Damn, who exactly is protecting her ... How is that assistant ... has anyone gotten it?"

Jackson said, staring at two of his men who were in front of him, clenching his free fists.

"Not yet, boss ... I think he's hiding ... before I managed to injure his leg, there was no way he could move too far ... especially he's not a professional person," said one of Jackson's men who tried to belittle Mr. K.

"Are you sure he's not a professional?"

Jackson asked a little doubtfully.

The man just nodded his head confidently in response.

"Then find out where he is, don't let him escape, it looks like he's very close to Clara, we can use him as bait," Jackson ended to his men before finally Jackson took a call to someone else.

.

.

There were several small moans and grunts heard in an old uninhabited building.

"Damn, they are after me," said the young man who tried to hide behind a pillar while leaning his body, which felt a little weak.

The young man gave a short message to someone he trusted before. Finally, his gaze began to fade a little.

'I'm sorry, Clara ... I'll protect you as best I can.'

Brugh!
