92 Giving up

It had been on many occasions whereby Frederick rejected Rafael's love confession. However this time, it hit him harder!

He realised that no matter what the outcome is, Frederick would never return his love. All this time, he was blinded! He was so full of himself, that he thought he had the ability to sway that man. He thought Frederick would love no other no more.

Yet there he sat, in his lifeless grand master bedroom, with a rustic chandelier hanging majestically on the ceiling. The dimmed glow of orange hue that reflected against his handsome blue eyes, made his appearance quite forlorn. Even with all the lights on, coupled with the natural luminescence of the moon and stars, his glorious room reeked of bleakness.

He knew he screwed up royally.

With one more push, with one more utterance of the traitorous woman, and with one more mention of that woman he called bitch, he knew he would lose Frederick Mortcombe forever.
