CHAPTER 007: THE GIFT

STELLA'S POV

"About the plan,... I actually don't have any idea on how to do it," I started the conversation as soon as we received our order. We've spent 3 hours playing earlier and we still haven't eaten except for the slice of cake and coffee earlier. He must be starving to death right now.

"What do you mean?" He asked while he's busy eating the pasta that I ordered for him. He did not even bother to look at me.

"I need your opinion," It's embarrassing to ask for help to someone who is still a stranger but I can't wait for the time that Shelby and I will improve, romantically. I noticed that Shelby is close to Jaeson, which made me jealous and made me plan about this. And my jealous ass keeps on making me look like an idiot. Well, I can't help it. Jaeson is a guy, while me? I can never be like him. He has more advantages when it comes to Shelby and it broke my heart seeing how happy they are together. It makes me think that something is going on between them, but I keep on making myself believe that they're just friends; nothing special. And as long as they don't confirm it, I won't stop.

Tyron almost chokes so I gave him a glass of water. I need to be nice to him as much as possible or else, I won't have a chance to be with Shelby. He's my only hope.."You serious?" He asked, soon as he finished drinking. I nodded as a response while looking directly at him. "Hmmm.. give me a minute," I saw him blinking repeatedly while looking at the blank wall, maybe thinking about the plan. "Give her love letters, flowers, toys, chocolates.. hmm a house?." I laugh at his idea. I can't give her a house... not yet. And those ideas are too common. "Why?" He asked innocently, not realizing what he had said a while ago.

"We're not yet married, so I can't give her a house," I said with a playful smile. His reaction seems awkward which I don't know the reason why. I just let it slip and started eating my food.

"D-do you have a plan to marry her?"

His stupid question made me roll my eyes.

"Would I even plan to court her if not?" He avoided my gaze. I wonder why he seems awkward this time wherein he seems very happy and comfortable towards me earlier. Perhaps, he's planning to back out.

He just continues eating, not even answering my question. "Look, I don't play a woman's heart. Do you.. perhaps... doubting me?" I wanna make sure if this guy trusts me and wholeheartedly accept me for his cousin.

"N-no," he stuttered. He did not even bother to look at me.

I took a deep sigh before speaking. "Do you think that I don't deserve her just because I'm a lesbian?"

He looks at me with his eyes widen. "That's not what I mean." I could just chuckle. I don't want to get mad at him since I need his help.

"Nevermind" I would just let it slip for now. "By the way, I'm planning to give these stuff toys to her. Would you help me put these on her locker?" I asked him with a smile.

"Yeah, sure!" He sounds confident right now unlike earlier.

"You helped a lot actually. And I'm very thankful." He just smiled at me which we actually a total relief.

"Would you mind if I send you home?" I asked him. I just think that I should owe him since he's helping me. We're complete strangers. We only know each other's names, but here he is, helping me.

"Uhmm.." before he could ever answer, I game him my extra helmet. I don't want him to refuse.

"Just tell me the direction," I stated as I ride on my motorcycle, making him froze for a moment.

AUTHOR'S POV

"Look! Oppa, Flora! Look what I've found on my locker!" Shelby excitedly stated as she put a box on the table in the library.

"Shhh!" - The librarian

"What are those?" Flora asked; intentionally lowering her voice as her eyes are glued on the box. Tyron acts as if he's busy reading a book.

Shelby opens the box excitedly, and her pupils dilated as she saw what's inside. "Wow," that's the only word she can say. There are 7 small stuff toys inside and they are all cute. She loves it.

Tyron is the one who put the box on her locker, as Stell asked him to do it. He doesn't know why but he just can't say no to her.

"Who gave you that?" Jaeson asked with a frown on his face.

"I just found it on my locker. Isn't it cute?" She says as she showed a panda stuff toy; the only toy that Stell got. The other six are the ones that Tyron got from the Claw Machine. "Any idea who put these?" Shelby asked them, raising her eyebrows.

"I-I don't have any" he stuttered. He's really bad at lying. He can't even control his own mouth. Stell asked her not to say anything about this because she still doesn't have any good idea on how to confess her feelings. Good thing that Shelby just let it passed.

"I wonder who's it"

"Did she liked it?" Stella excitedly asked him. They're at the rooftop right now; where Blockheads usually stay. Her friends already know about this since yesterday. Tyron just nodded.

"Stell," a soft voice of a woman speaks and she does not have to look who the culprit was. She looks at her best friend, Michelle, with a smile on her face. She's happy that Shelby received her early birthday gift. "Do you really have a plan to court her?" Michelle asked with her obvious sad tone.

"Yep," she answered, still with her sweet smile.

"How much do you like her?" William gathered his confidence to ask her that question, which made her frown.

"Very" Even though she's confused by the sudden question, she still managed to give her sweetest smile. She's certain that she likes her from the very start.

"Is there any chance that you would stop?" This time, it's Clyde who asked. She's confused about why their group seems not happy right now.

"What's with you guys?" She's not liking the way of how they ask her random questions. It makes her think that they're doubting her.

"Just answer," he immediately answered her question. He's serious, which is not usual.

"I won't stop," she says. Even though she knows that there is only a little chance that Shelby will like her back, she won't stop until the day will come. But something bothers her, so she did not hesitate to ask them.

"Are you doubting me?"

No one dared to answer. She knew it. They think that she doesn't match Shelby just because of her gender, and it's toxic. "Michelle? William?" She looks at them while saying their names. Out of everyone, she trusts them the most. She treats them as her own brothers and sisters. She treats all her friends that way, and she hopes that they do the same. "Don't you guys trust me?"

Jade pats her shoulders, making her calm a little. She's not mad, but she's disappointed. She can't be mad at them just because of some stupid reasons, but today's scene frustrates her.

"We just don't want you to get hurt," Ken finally speaks. Ken is the most serious out of everyone in the group. He barely joins the group when it comes to dramas. Something is going on that she has no idea about.

She chuckled. "You guys are so dramatic." She let out a laugh. Now, she understands that they're just concern, so she let her frustration fade away. "I won't get hurt." Everyone looks at her with disbelief. She smiled at them. "I'm cool," she says as she shows her muscles on her arms that made them laugh. Something is going on, but they can't spill it since they don't want to ruin her mood.
