Amanda Laetious...

As she sat under the tree, her peaceful spot, the same spot where she had met the angel years ago. Looking back, she realized those were good times. And the craziness of the situation on that day, I mean, who takes a stranger to their house without knowing anything about the stranger and and worst part, you forget to ask their name. Was it possible that the peace she had felt with the angel had made all logical thoughts irrelevant? Could it be possible that she was so dazzled by the angel that she couldn't think straight?  But the memories of that day were as clear as ever in her mind and she remembered being herself, but then again she couldn't stop the uncertainty of things based on the revelation of events on that day. And then there was the hot magician who had just made an effort to get on her good side. She couldn't help thinking of how alike Kyle and his angel are that stare that makes you feel like they're looking into your soul and can see all that is wrong with you, then that smirk that makes their eyes wrinkle like they will accept anything that you are, no matter how bad it is. Then their physical features: their hair, their eyes, although Kyle's eyes are kind of crystal green, not the glowing emerald green, his baby lips like they were implanted from a little baby, his innocent smile that just melts your defenses, then his persistence as if he's used to getting things to happen his way, . She found her self smiling, no blushing... Funny, she hadn't blushed in years. Something about Kyle made him special,  made her wants to want him.  She... she just didn't know what quite yet. She looked to her right and saw Dalia's crew and "Oh" she said in disappointment. Guess who was among them, Kyle himself. She thought he was different, guess she was wrong as she was watching them he looked at her and she saw his glowing  eyes.  Then the reasonable voice in her head popped up "You do know that you don't own the guy right? He's new here and he's still testing every pool to see which pool he prefers. For all you know he's another jerk like Trevor, so I wouldn't expect anything from him. I mean yes he's super hot, and it's kinda hard to argue with that fact but Trevor was hot too, until he found himself comfortable with the cool guys and decided to cast you aside. This new glowing guy is wreaks of trouble so don't get attached. He's probably a ladies man." She couldn't argue with the voice I mean, she didn't know Kyle that well, so jumping to conclusions was probably not the best play at the moment. She hated the fact that she admired someone she cannot have though, why did the guy have to make that kind of an effort and get her out of a very tight and painful leash of humility that she'd been suffering in for so long if he was going to look for greener pastures in the form of a very devilish Dalia. The tradition of every attractive guy passing through Dalia's charm first seemed to be a little unfair this time because she was attracted to this specific attractive guy, and the fact that he had made an effort to turn the attention away from her in Chemistry class was not making it any easier on  her. She took, out her note pad to try and occupy herself but then thought against it and returned it into her back pack and she took out her phone instead and listened to music as she admired the smiles and cheers around her. "How I wish," she said to herself "I had a companion, a friend" They say nothing is stronger than a lonely girl's wish,  so little did she  know that the universe had heard have  pleads long ago and was answering them. The bell rang and there was movement in the grounds as everyone had to return to the building's  interior for the resumption of lessons. Amanda's  next class was ICT with Miss Sergeant. She was one of the last people to take off into the school building and she went to get her  books from her locker.  she was about to head up to the lab on the second floor when she saw Dalia and her crew walk through the entrance Dalia was carrying another bag strapped on her right shoulder. She had seen that bag before. She looked around and found the hall ways empty. "That back pack isn't yours!" She said in a brave tone even though she was scared. They were fighting over who would open the bag since they were curious of its contents. "This is none of your business creep" said Michelle in an irritated tone before turning to the  bag again. This made her angry but she suppressed the anger and sarcastically said "In case you  famous girls don't know the meaning of that, its called violation of someone's privacy" Dahlia turned around and the rest of her crew turned with her and approached Manda. "You have a big mouth you little  witch" said Dahlia "You think because you saw an angel once it makes you powerful huh? Well let me tell you something there  little witch. This is our tower, we will rule this place and as for the bag you have no say in that because Kyle is part of our crew, he is our friend." And she flinched.

The certainty in her Dalia's voice could not be argued with, I mean she had seen him with them. She swallowed her fear and replied in level tone "That does not give you the right to be prying into his belongings though, does it?"

"You're right Manda, it certainly does not" said a voice behind Dalia and her friends, a voice that she knew quite well.
