13 Chapter 11

(A/N: I will be Making third person PoV from now on... and sometime first and second PoV.)

[New Moon Profound Palace]

It was currently a sunny day, as a boy with beggar clothing came infront of the New Moon Palace gate.

"Is it the New Moon Palace?" asked the man, as he looked toward the guard who was infront of the massive gate.

"What is a beggar doing here... we don't have any foods for you, Come after the Ceremony ends, We will give you the leftovers. " stated the guard, as he looked toward the man.. his face was covered with dust, there were some hole in his robe.. 'if he wasn't a beggar, he may have looked alittle handsome.' thoughts ran through guard... as he looked toward the beggar with pity.

"Bastard! Who did you call a Beggars! I am Yun Che! Remember my name!" shouted the beggar, who actually was Yun Che!

"Yeah, yeah, any thing else?" says the guard, looking at Yun Che while making a bored expression.

"Tsk! Here take this jade.. I think you know what it is." said Yun Che, taking out a jade from his pocket.. as he gave it to the guard, who after looking at the jade, raised his spear.

"Thief! You have guts to show the jade... that you have stolen!" shouted the guard as he thought, Yun Che stole it from someone whom there Grand Elder has granted it to.

"Hey! What are you doing! it was given to me by my Grandfather!" shouted Yun Che.. as he was only at True profound Realm, there is no way he could fight against a Spirit Realm guards.

"Shut Up! Guards Arrest him!" ordered the guard, as many guard started to charge toward him.

"Damn it! You Bastard, Atleast show it to Senior Han first!" refuted Yun Che, but guard still caught him.. then started to beat him all black and blue, when a voice stopped them.

"Ohh~ What is going on here... Don't you guard have shame? Why are you beating a roadside Beggar?" said a young man, looking at him.. he looked at the age of 20-year old, he was wearing a black and golden coloured hanfu with dragon pattern and some weird symbolic tree, as he approached the guards.. Seeing him all guard kowtowed toward him.

"This guard greets Senior! We were waiting for you arrival!" shouted the Guard Captain.

"Hmm? You know me?" asked the newcomer, as he looked toward the guards.

"Yes! City Lord Murong has given us instructions that.. a senior with Crimson red hair with red eyes may come."

"Oh, sure sure, and by the way I go by the name Niu Zhong Kui.. Now let the beggar go and guide me." Said Niu Zhong Kui, as he just glanced at beaten up Yun Che with a mischievous smile.. then followed the guards direction.

"Sure Senior Kui, Please follow this guard to the Hall room.. Our New chief Ceremony will began after some time." said the guard Captain, as he started to lead Kui toward the Palace.

"It is really beautiful place, even though it is just a branch Palace." Kui complimented the Palace looking toward garden, as the guard puffed his chest with pride and started to blabber about how great there Palace is... as we began walking toward the Ceremony Hall, When Kui heard an sweet fairy like voice from behind him.

"Sir Guard, who may this guest be." asked the sweet voice from behind, as Kui turned around.... he met with a pair of beautiful sparkling eyes with a gaze as soft as water, looking a little down by her beautiful eye, Kui saw a cherry colored lips have the luster of a smooth seashell, and checked her other body parts.

"Oh, Student Lan.. He is the Senior, Who was invited by City Lord as a honourable guest for the Ceremony." proclaimed the guard, as Kui just gaze at the Student Lan infront of him, with no greeting.

"Umm? This Junior name is Lan Xuerou, May I get the Senior Name?" asked Lan Xuerou.. As she looked toward Kui, who was gazing at her.. but didn't say anything as he didn't have any lust over his eye.

"Oh my bad, My name is Niu Zhong Kui, I am just you everyday normal Cultivator... I apologize for my early behaviour, it's just that I have never seen such as beautiful figure, that I got dazed." Kui flirted a bit with Xuerou, as she just chuckled a bit... then asked where he came from.. and Kui just gave her some random bullshit.

As they were chatting ignoring the guard.. A blue screen appeared before Kui eyes, which only he seems to have vision to see.

'I don't really care about this girl affection.. But that points sure is making my mouth watery.' thought Kui, as he accepted the quest given on the screen.

"Well it was beautiful meeting a fairy like you, I hope we can have talk like this on future." said Kui, as he caught Xuerou hand and gave a light kiss on her hand.. as he left with a blushing Xuerou behind, as she has never been touched by unknown man, let one kissed on her hand.

"Classmate Lan, Why is you face red? Are you Sick?" a voice came behind Xuerou, as she turned around.. she saw Murong Ye, Then her pervious angelic face turned alittle cold.

"No it is nothing Classmate Murong, I was just practicing of not breathing on the same air as some bugs." said Lan Xuerou with a merciless answer, then headed toward her court.

In the another place, Yun Che has met with Sikong Hang, and told him what happened in Floating Cloud City... the news turned Sikong Han cheerful face into gloomy... but still kept a happy face as he didn't want to be disrespectful toward the New Chief. Then he accepted Yun Che to the New Moon Palace... And led him toward the Ceremony Hall.

"Attention!! Honourable Guest!! Lord Niu Zhong Kui!! Has Arrived!!" a announced sounded on the Ceremony Hall, as everyone attention went toward the one who was stated as honourable.... There they saw a man with crimson-red hair which was giving it's own unique glow, and his snake-like sharp eye which was also coloured red, and his toned body.. which could be seen with his Hanfu that was designed like the same of a Emperor.

"Who is he? those he think he is some Emperor? looks at his dress."

"Sssh! be quite! I heard from my parents that today we were going to have a guest, who even City lord has to respect."

"Yeah, You better watch you word..."

"Kyaa! he looks even more handsome then our Palace Murong Ye."

And so on, many whispered seeing the man named Niu Zhong Kui, but ignoring them all... Kui just head toward his seat, that was made on the equal ground to the Palace Chief seat.

'This bastard dare make me stand equal to some Mongrel!' shouted Kui with clear displeased face, he don't seems to even bother trying to cover his displeased face... Looking at him New Palace Chief Qin Wuyou became alittle nervous.. as he has already been informed of this guest being a Throne level expert.

'Did I do something wrong? What did made him have that face?' many question started to surface Wuyou mind, but he didn't show any nervousness in his face.

"Honourable Guest Kui, This Wuyou greets you.. May I have any lacking to your luxury." stated Wuyou, making other surprised.. there Palace Chief greeted some unknown person? How could they digest it? Even the City lord need to be polite toward Place Chief!

"It's nothing old bone, I just thought of some displeasing stuffs... I have anyway came here to give you my congratulations.... Congrats for getting the sit of Palace Chief." said Kui, as not minding this disrespect toward him. 'Alexa, I spared there dogs life just because of you.. next time I won't listen to you.' said Kui inwardly, as he looked toward the blue screen infront of him.

After that all other seven Sects came and give there good will toward Wuyou, and tried to speak with Kui.. as he also give them a friendly smile, and chatted with them, until all have gathered around the hall.

"Since Everybody is here, I want to thank all of you... to have come here to give your good will toward me for being promoted to the Palace Chief... I will do my utmost to hold the position I was given through the will of the Emperor." proclaimed Qin Wuyou, as he gave everyone presented toward the hall a thankful bow.

"We are the Sects that balance the City, So of course we need to join this joyous time." said some wild Sect Master, and other small sects follow him to gain favour form Wuyou... As the Seven main sects just kept there silent. When someone broke the silence.

"Palace Chief Qin, I suggest we do something fun in this happy occasion." stated Xiao Ao, the Head Elder of Profound Heart Sect.

"What does Elder Xiao means?" asked Wuyou, with that idiotic smile plastered on his face.

"I mean to say is.. we all eight great Sect of New Moon city have gathered here, Why don't we have a little competition with our younger generation... and check who is the best among the eight sect." said Xiao Ao with smile, and turned toward me. "Don't the Honourable Guest thinks so too?."

"Interesting, Although I also count as a younger generation knowing I am just in my twenty, it will be fun to watch this kids dog fight." Kui said while nodding his head, as everyone looked toward him with different expression.. mainly raged and shock.

The younger generation looked at this with anger as Kui just called there battle a dog fight but kept quiet when they remember there Elder word.. and older were shocked because couldn't digest what Kui just proclaimed... A twenty year Throne!! They could have thought he was lying... but what's the point of lying to them, as they were nothing but ant in the eye of Kui.

"Hahah?! it seems like even the Honourable Guest accepted the proposal, What do you say Palace Chief." asked Yan Zizai, the Head Elder of Cloudy End Sect.

"What is it old bone? Why don't you just accept it." forced Kui to accept the proposal, as he knew those seven were trying to humiliate New Moon Place.. but they didn't knew something Kui knew.

"Uhh, If the guest says, who am I to refuse... Then who will be the first challenger." said Wuyou, with a grim face.

"The Chief doesn't need to worry, We will send our disciple first." exclaimed Ao, as he looked toward one of his Sect disciple. Who nods his head, and started walking toward the stage.

"This Junior is named Xuan Yu, I am 16 year old and a 2nd level Nascent Profound Realm. I hope to exchange pointer with New Moon Palace." said Xuan Yu, as he cupped his fist with a deep bow.

"So who want to come from our Palace?" asked Wuyou, looking toward his disciples.

"Why don't you let that kid join the fight.. I can feel he will put up a good fight." suddenly Kui interrupted as he pointed toward Yun Che.. Who was looking at him from the time he entered the Hall.

"Oh!Is he a disciple of our Palace?" exclaimed Wuyou, as he don't seems to remember him. Then Sikong Han comes near the Chief and whispers in his ear.. making Wuyou gloomy face turned into a joyous, like he has been picked up by a angel from the hell.

"I thank the Honourable Guest for the suggestion... Disciple I could like you to fight for our Palace." orders Wuyou, as he looks toward Yun Che... who could only grit his teeth while glaring at Kui. After little bit of glaring.. Yun Che walks in the Stage.

"This Junior is named Yun Che, I am 16 year old and a 4th stage Nascent Profound Realm." Yun Che says ,while cupping his fist, making other abit little surprised.

"O..oh I didn't knew Moon Palace have nurtured such a genius." says Ao, who's pervious joyful face turned into a deadpan face.

"Hahaha, Elder Ao flatters me.. it was just the hard work of the Junior to accomplish what he is. " laughed Wuyou, clearly happy with there reaction. 'You people want to humiliate My Moon Palace, Keep Dreaming!'were the thought running through Wuyou mind.

"If you people have been done, why don't we start the match.. although we know who wins." interupted Kui, with little bored face... as he didn't want to look at there creepy faces.

"Ahh? we are sorry for it... Then let the Battle began!" exclaimed Wuyou.. as he told them to get the battle ready.
