Grandma problems

The bell rang, it was time to go for my part-time job, being the only daughter of the Yoo's family. I was so used to be a shadow cast by my brothers. Some people might find it annoying but not for me.

This was living the dreams for me; it was a dream to be able to live with peace and not camera shoved in your face every day. So, it was why I also had agreed to work in a local café, peace and quiet from the world.

The place was cosy, and even it's well known it felt like home for once, sure it didn't pay a lot, but it was enough for me, the money I had used to go to charities and other unfortunate people. This was media wouldn't find the evidence and post the article. Your donating because you wanted to not because you wanted to be seen by the media.

I walk along the halls trying to avoid my bodyguards.

After being shadow cast by my brothers, I started to go out more, making dad lose his mind; he had enemies for sure. The business world is not as pretty as it seems with lot's of competition there's going to be a lot of enemies as well.

So I had two bodyguards, Xarex and Gabriel, had them since I was 10 and been with me since then, I was due to have 2 more after graduating that means It'd be harder for me to escape. It is harder from dad knowing I work in a café and not studying at the library like I had promise.

They were cool about me working, and they had no problem, but I didn't want to be driven there, and somehow they wouldn't let it happened, so I had to do what I had to do.

I had to go to school using my motorbike. Nobody knows I had one, had bought it for myself last year and I had it kept in Felix's garage, my mechanic back in his shop. I had him send the motorbike behind the school.

Walking to the back school, I look over to see my motorbike, and of course, Felix was there leaning against the trailer he had.

"You… you're going to get me in trouble one day, you know you still don't have your license," He hisses, and I laugh at him.

��Relax I wouldn't get caught, I'm just using this baby because I'm don't-"

"You don't want your bodyguards to drive you there," He sighs as he throws the keys to me and I catch it walking to my baby, the only lover I can tolerate.

"Could use those bodyguards for my shop wouldn't have to worried about angry customers," he sighs, and I could only laugh at him.

"Yeah and you'll be out of business because people will be scared to go to your shop Felix, wouldn't want to go out of business," I took the helmet from his grasp, and I look back.

"See you later!" there I go.

I looked at the sign and smile, I walk through the doors and the bells ringing, and there I see an old lady hummin in her place and baking cookies.

"Grandma, didn't I tell you to stop making lots of cookies you're going to overfeed our neighborhood," I smile as I walk over the counter and I took my jacket off as I look for my apron and I found a white apron.

I took the apron and tied them to my waist, and I felt weird, I looked at the mirror and then wonder, the apron was a bit too big for me and it looks like it was someone else.

"My…My… this wasn't me, it was my grandson he was here to cook, he was smiling all day and decided to make cookies, his favorite ones too," she chuckles, "I think there must be something good happening, he was awfully a good mood."

"Oh… he was here before? That never happened," I smile, and the old couldn't help to smile as she thought of an idea.

"Soojin do you have a boyfriend?" She asked innocently, and I looked at her.

"I don't know where this is going." She could only act innocently as she walks her way to me and smile.

"Soojin would you like to get married to my grandson?"

I can only look at her and shook my head, "Grandma, you know I don't date." She could only whine and looks at me.

"Whyyy…. My grandson is handsome you should see him, oh, I should call him right now and -, "she sighs, "he'll need to settle down one day, and he's going to –"

I look at her franticly at her as she tries to find her phone.

"Grandma…" this could be a long day.

After a long counsel with grandma, I finally get her to calm down as I try the cookies after putting them inside the jar.

It was delicious. The cookies were heaven, and I couldn't believe it. Her grandson is a pro!

"Grandma, you never tell me your grandson could make such cookies, we could sell this, this is amazing," I took another cookie from the jar, and she laughs.

"Well, I asked him to help me every day! He's going to be the owner when I'm gone, the least he could do was bake these cookies," she smiles and she looks at me sadly, "Sadly… I hope at least I can see my grandsons married before I go and –"

"Grandma…"

She grabs my hand and looks at me, "you'll know that as a grandmother she'll want the best for anyone, right? I want the best for my grandson, and I believe you are the one, please the least you can do is see him for me." She looks so sad, it's true she would always complain about her grandsons not being able to settle down.

But I can't blame her, wanting to see her grandsons happy is what a grandmother would like to see.

"Alright! I'll try to see the kid first, but don't be surprised if I kick his ass grandma," and she chuckles as she sat down, the café was running pretty smoothly today, and it was not as hectic as before.

My shift will end in 2 more hours then I will be back at home.

"It would be a great pleasure for you to do so, might hit a sudden common sense in their heads, and finally I can see my great-grandchildren."

I choke as she was smiling innocently.
