CHAPTER ONE part 2 | 'No Luck'

"Now now don't hurt my dinner Link leave her alone"

"But we can't keep her she tell him where we are. We should just feed on her now so we won't get interrupted by Angle guy They are connected to each other."

"We" No Link we will not feed on her, It's I who will Link. I thought you knew your loyalty to your leader but you might have forgotten"

The next thing I see is blood lots of it coming for Link chest the guy who assume is the leader has his hand in links chest, ripping

His heart out of him likes it's nothing. I scream loud trying and get up to my feet looking to where an exit might be I break the rope. seeing a door I don't care much more i just run to it not stopping to see if they are coming after me.

I make to the door pushing the door as hard as I can to open but it won't budge I try again but no use I look over my shoulder to see if leader guy is coming for me but i don't see anyone just the body of link laying there like a doll. As I come back to the door i see it's not going to open i see a window to my right above open i step back and run fast an jump on an old table to reach the edge of the window putting my foot over it and bring myself to a ground. I pat my self for doing it after cutting the left over rope with a piece of glass on the ground, easily and not hurting myself.

The cold air wind brings back to my plan. It's almost morning i see I must have been a bit since the first kidnap it's wired to kidnap two times the same day.

'Yes Scarlett it is.....'

I run to the nearest food place. I keep looking to see if anyone is around as I get close to the cafe shop that is thankfully open still I walk inside and take a table in the corner where the wall is and glass window. Breathing in and out to try to relax and not freak out as I relax a bit from seeing people coming and going to getting their coffee and headed to work. I didn't care if I look messy or homeless, I slowly put my head down just for a sec to relax but end up falling asleep.

Where the hell am I? I see a Tv on the wall in front of me, a picture on the left side of the wall I'm on a big Queen size bed there's a Window to my right I opened.

"Hey your awake Now, Don't freak Out okay... I just what to talk, and going to explain, Everything that happened to you. An what is going on."

'Sexy, The deep male voice again...' stop!'

I am in shock right Now, I wanted to scream, yell just to have a fucking break...

"I'll take that's as a yes then?"

(Hours later)

"So you're saying that vampires are real demons Gods and angles" I state wondering how I'm going to get through my life.

"Yes, I'm saying that and I'm saying that I here to protect you from any supernatural being, mostly Shadows, And just say that you going to stick with me for a little bit," he says

I didn't get to say anything else before he left, To get some things I assume.

Bringing back to reality I get to clean up in the bathroom after coming back out with a towel not looking dead any more from dirt and tears from today. Around me, I look for clothes I can borrow for the night. Seeing he left his bag I pick a t-shirt for his bag that was on the chair putting it on. Not thinking anything of it. getting in bed I relax for a minute but I realize that I didn't even know his name.

'Really Scarlett ya a fucking idiot'

I huff in the pillow pulling the covers on me more snuggling in the bed, Thinking of why I didn't ask him, 'because you couldn't keep your eyes off of him, I say dumbly to myself '

Well, you can't go missing by he looks brown hazel eyes that look like haven his rip big muscles that pop out of his black-shirt those big thighs that fit perfectly on these blue jeans, that killer butt of his, I hum in approval just thinking about it.

I get startled when someone opens the Hotel door but it's him,

I try to look anywhere else because of my cheeks I can feel them on fire, looking at my feet while he comes to stand in front of me.

"I got Chinese food I hope you don't mind."

"No, I don't," I say shyly

"I see that you found something to wear," he said smirking at me.

" Oh, yea Um I didn't have any other clothes to wear. Hope you don't mind"I smile and try to keep my breathing level not looking like a dog in heat or anything.

"No no, it's fine just...never mind ah hungry," he asks

We eat the food the silences cutting deep so I ask the question I've been waiting to ask. "So I'm haven't asked this because I forgot, what's your name you know mine so I was just wondering-"

I get cut off by him saying

" Kane Lakewood"

(Newer Note here: I wanted to edited This book...and I did I took all the other chapters down for now they will be Edited from now on. This book was my first book Ever. And I want it to be perfect in my way... I really am trying my best at writing. ..I still suck I think. Tho I can now not have an excuse to not do it.

I redo the book cover it might change again, When ever... I made this book more detailed and fixing my errors.
