Selling Monster Materials

Baffled, Nelphy asked, "Why is that?"

"Sorry, I worded that weird," the man corrected himself while scratching his head like he had fleas. "You can't buy a beast ring without a crown-approved certificate. They sell a few every year to the revered estates. That's how you young'uns can get beast rings."

"That's the only way? Through a revered estate?"

"Eh, I guess a guild can try to buy a certificate or two. But only if there are extras up for grabs after the estates got first picking," stated the man, letting loose a sigh of relief when he finally stopped scratching his scalp. "Sorry, missy, but rules are rules. Even then, only gold ranks can apply through a guild, so–"

Nelphy's gold guild card clanked onto the table, snatching the man's immediate attention. "Yo! How old are you missy? Please tell me you've got bestial veita!"

She shook her head. "Sorry, I don't. I have water and earth veita."
