A single second of pause clung to the air as everyone eyed the blushing teen. 

The next second, however, Orsen shook off his shyness and slapped a hand back onto the bar. "Chef! I need a house special, along with whatever she wants." 

"Coming right up." Bil didn't hesitate to answer, turning his covered gaze to Wilo. "What'll it be, miss?"

It was Wilo's turn to blush. She glanced back at Orsen with a giggle, then looked up at the chalkboard menu. "I don't know… what do you recommend, Nelphy?"

"I love the duck stirfry, but it's all great. After all, it was Bil who helped us test our recipes," Nelphy commented, making sure to give her dad as much credit as possible. "If you want something lighter, try one of the sandwiches." 

Wilo turned to Bil. "In that case, can I get… What's the braised BLT?"
