Jash's First Assignment

Jash sighed. Glancing over the letter once more, he put it back in the envelope and stored it away.

"Do you have any more questions regarding the assignment?" Eidar asked.

Shaking his head, Jash replied, "No. I don't have any more questions."

"Good. Then you're dismissed. Though I'll mention a few perks of the guild you should keep in mind," added Eidar. "Your bank card is also known as a guild card. It proves that you're one of Lyndarr's professional mercenaries. You'll need it to order from the bar and apply for job requests at the reception desk."

"What about your restaurant?" Jash asked.

Eidar shrugged. "That depends on how fast you rank up. Currently, you're a steel rank mercenary. After proving your worth, you can apply for the next level. Or, if you're feeling ballsy, pay for the exam and hope you pass. But you can only take an exam once a week, so keep that in mind."

"Ranks? For mercenaries?"
