Sensing how eager Jash was to leave and start practicing, Nelphy totaled up the cost. "So, that's twenty silver for Jash's and ten silver for mine. Or twenty-five for all four?"

"We've got a deal!" Lazro gave them a light clap. "Congratulations on beginning your veita journeys. I look forward to the next time we meet, and learning what you're capable of and how I can help you further those abilities."

Jash slapped down one gold and five silver drits. "Thanks, Lazro! See you next time!"

As Jash bolted out of the tent, Nelphy waved goodbye while staying close to her brother.

Before sunset, the siblings were back home. And, by Nelphy's request, they grabbed dinner from the market square. If they didn't eat right away, Jash would get too caught up in training to step away for a meal.

Jash agreed and scarfed down his food as hastily as his stomach would allow. Then, Jash disappeared to his room and activate his seal stone for guaranteed peace and quiet.
