Because i can't let you ruin your life

Lily slowly opened her eyes. Her head was hurting really bad and she was still feeling drowsy.

Her eyes slowly regain their focus only to see that she was in unknown surroundings.

Lily looked around with her eyes wide open. She was in some sort of warehouse.

She saw a table in front of her. The effects of anesthesia were still there.

She tried to move her hands but they didn't move; they were bound to the chair at her sides.

Lily was shocked, she felt like she just woke up from a dream.

She looked around frantically, realizing the situation she was in.

Tears started to feel down her eyes. She couldn't let a single sound out from her mouth even though there was nothing stopping her.

[It's okay …. It's okay … my family will come for … mom, dad will be here any moment… and lina would definitely be personally searching for me even though mother wouldn't allow her… it's okay … its fine … just a little more and they will be here] lily was saying this again and again in her mind.

After a few minutes she considerably calmed down. She looked at her surroundings, this time to find something to help her escape.

She looked down at the floor when her eyes paused at her clothes.

[Wedding gown? Why am I wearing a gown?] She looked down at her clothes.

Everything that happened before flashed passed her eyes. Lily remembered how she was getting ready for her wedding.

She remembered everything until she sat down in the car.

[Why can't I remember what happen after I sat down in the car!? ALINA … what happened to alina!?] She looked around herself to find alina but couldn't [is she alright?]

Lily started to get worried. [I need to find alina] she started to struggle.

She tried to free herself but nothing happen. She tried to use magic but she was unable to.

Rope started to burn alina skin around her wrist but she still didn't stop struggling.

[I need to get to alina!] The last thing lily remembers was being with alina. Lily was getting more and more desperate to break the chains while thinking of all the possibilities where alina would be badly hurt.

"Hello anyone there!" lily spoke with the loudest voice she can.

She was trying to gain the attention of her kidnappers so she could know if alina was okay or not.

"Alina … ALINA … are you here? Can you hear me? …" lily was crying "please … please respond to me if you can hear me…"

Lily hears the door at the back open.

Someone came in before closing the door tightly.

"Hey! Hey you, whoever you are, don't you dare hurt my sister" lily screamed at the person even though she couldn't see who it was.

The footsteps paused before continuing to make their way towards lily. Lily was screaming while she was desperately trying to free herself.

"Lily, stop it!" a familiar voice came from behind lily "you are going to hurt yourself".

Lily abruptly stopped moving when she heard the voice.

How can she not recognize who this was! How could she not know who this voice belong to!

"No …. No …. It can't be!" lily shook her head trying to force an idea out of her head.

"It can't be …." She refused to believe it, but even then the memory of her sniffing alina handkerchief kept coming back to her.

The foot step came closer and closer.

The person stopped right behind lily for few moments, it was as if that person was preparing himself to fight a last battle.

As the person came into view lily started shaking her head even more forcefully "it can't be, it can't be" refusing to believe it. Lily avoided looking at her sister.

It has to be an imposter. This is not alina; I refuse to believe that this is alina. Lily was chanting this again and again in her head.

Alina held Lily's head with both her hands stopping her from moving it, forcing their eyes to meet.

Seeing the same gentle and loving eyes lily calmed down a little. It was if she was enchanted by the kindness in alina eyes.

Lily's lips shivered, as she stared at the calm image of her beloved sister alina in front of her.

Alina sat down in front of lily on the table top.

Lily only looked at her sister; unable to move or say anything but even then she never once blamed her for anything in her mind.

Lily just stared at her with her pure bright eyes.

Alina patiently waited for lily to speak up first.

Alina could see the internal struggle lily was going through, she could see how lily was trying to make the string ends meet but was failing.

Even then alina patiently sat in front of her; not moving a single muscle.

Lily finally whispered "why?"

Her voice came out crocked because of all the screaming she was doing previously.

As soon as lily spoke, lily could see the worry in alina eyes and there was a strange tremor but it went away in split second.

Listening to Lily's voice, Alina took a water bottle helping her drink water from it.

After lily had drunk considerable amount of water, Alina again sat down in front of lily.

Lily waited for her to answer but alina didn't move at all. Alina looked at her as if she was looking at for the last time.

Lily did not like this. Why is alina behaving like this? Lily couldn't figure it out at all.

Seeing that Alana was still not answering her question, lily asked again "why did you do this?"

Alina bit her lip as she looked at the determination in lily eyes. She knew that lily would not stop until she gets her answer.

Alina took a deep breath in; it was almost as if she was holding her tears in.

Alina was silent for a moment before she spoke "because I can't let you ruin your life".
