22 Hidden Floor...
Inside the cave dungeon. Middle area.
"This dungeon is like a maze! I don't even remember where we came from anymore!" (Allen)
"W-what do we do now, Allen?" (Airin)
Allen shook his head in helplessness and replied:
"Uh, I guess we should find the boss area first, once we defeat it, we will be able to teleport directly out of this dungeon from there…" (Allen)
"Yes!" (Airin)
Just when the two were planning their way out of this place. The sound of something heavy being dragged against the floor came from a nearby passage.
*shrrrrr!* *Shrrr!*
"Airin it's a monster, get behind me-" (Allen)
Before Allen could finish his sentence a huge Minotaur walked out of the passage. The dragging sound they heard earlier, came from that huge stone club that the Minotaur was dragging with his right hand.
(A Minotaur is a peak Grade 5 monster that is usually only found in medium-grade dungeons. Everyone knows about the brute strength and insane speed of this famous monster.)
With a head like a cow and a muscular body stronger than an ogre, that monstrosity was shrouded in a deathly aura.
*Baaahhhhhhnn!!*
The Minotaur immediately noticed the two tiny humans standing in front of him and its huge eyes turned red and bloodshot immediately. It entered the rage state at a mere moment's notice.
A shocked and fearful look appeared on Allen and Airin's faces.
"How come there is a Minotaur in this low-grade dungeon!?" (Allen)
Before Allen could think of anything, the minotaur charged at them straight like a mad bull.
*Bam! Bam!*
Its immense weight created loud footstep sounds whenever it kicked the ground.
[Grade-6 Earth magic: Stone wall!]
Allen is obviously not the 'protagonist' for show, either.
He is the only person in this world who can use every type of magic, that exists in this world. (He is blessed by all types of elements and can use any type of magic at will… currently he has only learned wind and earth types though…)
But even with all that magical talent, Allen was still too weak right now to stop the mad charge of a Minotaur head-on.
The Minotaur bashed its head directly into the stone wall and broke it apart like without much effort.
[Grade-6 Wind magic: Swift Push!]
Allen cast the wind magic and hurriedly pushed himself and Airin out of the Minotaur's charge line.
The Minotaur missed the attack and directly collided with the wall of the dungeon.
Surprisingly, the dungeon wall also broke and the Minotaur fell on the other side of the wall as it got tripped by the debris.
*Baaaahhhhh!*
The Minotaur's eyes became even more bloodshot after seeing that its prey had escaped its grasp.
It roared madly and got up from the ground immediately.
"Sh*t, this thing is going mad from anger!" (Allen)
"Airin! Get up we need to run now!!" (Allen)
"I-I Can't! M-my legs aren't moving!" (Airin)
Tears appeared in Airin's eyes as her legs gave away.
She is a gentle-natured person and has never been in real fights.
Now that she was suddenly thrown into this deathly situation, she was unable to move due to the sheer fear caused by the bloody aura of that Minotaur.
Hearing Airin, a look of worry appeared on Allen's face as he stared at the Minotaur. His palms became sweaty seeing that the Minotaur was about to charge at them again.
(How did this guy even fight that wyvern in the original game plot if he can't even go against this mere Minotaur? The answer is swift and precise: Plot armor goes brrrrr!!)
(If any of you have fought a dragon or big monster in a game, you must have noticed that the MC kills that giant monster by just attacking its nails and decreasing its health bar…)
(That's what happened in the plot, the wyvern didn't fight back much, and it was there for just pure display…. If Jareth hadn't killed that wyvern in this real world, it would have been out of the Mc's league obviously…)

*Bamm!*
The Minotaur kicked the ground and launched at Allen like a cannonball. It raised its giant stone club above its shoulders and smashed it down with tremendous force.
The air trembled crazily as the Minotaur smashed that stone club downwards.
[Grade-6 Wind magic: Wind barrier!]
'It's too fast! Can't dodge it on time!!' (Allen)
Since Allen knew he couldn't dodge that attack, he immediately cast a barrier to envelop them both in a wind sphere. This way he could barely avoid instant death at least.
*Crack*
The minotaur's stone club directly landed on the barrier and the barrier got ripped apart like paper, the club continued downwards and smashed the ground with insane force.
Allen barely dodged that attack otherwise he would have become a meat-paste instantly.
The ground cracked and the floor broke apart instantly.
All three of them fell down with the broken floor's debris and landed on a lower floor or the dungeon.
'This dungeon has another floor!?' (Allen)
[Grade-6 wind magic: Wind cushion!]
Allen cast the wind magic to stop himself and Airin from getting injured by falling from such a height.
They both landed safely on the ground, but the Minotaur directly fell like a dead rock, and due to falling from such height its right leg's bone snapped into two.
*Baaaaahhhhh!*
The Minotaur wailed in pain and its loud painful cries rang out far and wide.
The broken leg bone had pierced right out of its leg and its right leg was bent in a weird angle. Blood flowed like water and painted the floor red.
"This thing is crazy! It will go to any length just to attack me!!" (Allen)
Tears of blood flowed out of the Minotaur's bloodshot eyes as it got up on one leg and rushed towards Allen with great difficulty.
The Minotaur raised its stone club. It looked like it was going to throw that club at Allen's face now.
'I have used up nearly all of my mana in defending from its attacks and that wind cushion magic took extra mana out of me as I am not proficient enough with it…' (Allen)
'This is a really tricky situation now-' (Allen)
The Minotaur didn't give Allen any time to think at all. It threw its club at Allen with an insane speed.
A sonic boom was created from the launch of that club.
'So fast!' (Allen)
Allen didn't even have the time to cast a simple barrier, the club was so fast that it seemed to have teleported right in front of his face.
Allen raised his hands to cover his face and closed his eyes in fear. He knew that if that attack landed, his whole head would explode like a watermelon.
[Grade-4 Frost Magic: Frost barrier]
Just then, a thin ice barrier appeared in front of Allen's body out of nowhere, the club collided with the barrier directly but there wasn't even a single scratch on the barrier.
Allen and Airin, both remained unharmed due to the presence of that barrier.
Allen slowly opened his eyes when the expected attack didn't reach him.
"Good grief ~ as I thought this dungeon is definitely not that simple after all… there's no way there would be a second hidden floor on a low-grade dungeon, this is definitely not a low-grade dungeon…" (Shin)
Shin flew down from the upper floor and landed right in front of the minotaur, he had a fed-up expression on his face at the moment.
*Baaah-*
"Shut up, no one is talking to you…" (Shin)
[Grade-3 Frost magic: Ice needle]
A needle made out of ice appeared in front of Shin. In size, it looked similar to a normal sewing needle, but it was actually made up of extremely condensed ice elements.
The needle launched at the Minotaur's chest and directly blew away its whole upper torso in an instant, the innards of the Minotaur splattered everywhere on the ground and painted the ground red.
After the instant death of the Minotaur, the whole scene fell into silence.
The Minotaur which was so difficult for Allen to fight earlier, got killed in an instant under Shin's magic.
