236 Second Chance and Fairy Tail's Seal

(Third Person POV)

Inside the Fairy Tail Guild hall, everyone was gathered. Every member of the guild, including the S-Class mages, were sitting in their seats as they awaited Makarov's meeting. 

Even Gildarts, who was rarely in the guild, was present. This was due to the Magic Council's orders, the veteran mage had no choice but to attend. The council's meeting wasn't till a couple of days so this meeting was called by Makarov himself. 

Cana sat next to her father who leaned back on a chair as he looked up into the ceiling. 

"Wonder what the problem is..." Cana said

"The old man mentioned something with the First..." Gildarts said, "Let's just wait on him." 

"Did you hear?" Cana asked, "There's rumors that we might go to war. An empire in the west is about to declare their war."

"I heard." Gildarts nodded, "I doubt it'll happen. The Magic Council takes threats very seriously. With the weapons they have, they'll keep any threat at bay." 

On another table, Natsu and Gray were arguing. 

"Man, shut the fuck up!" Gray exclaimed, "I told your dumb ass not to get in my way but you still do, that's why the giant boar almost gored you!" 

"I'll fucking beat your ass, Gray!" Natsu growled, "I told you I was gonna hit it with my Fire Dragon's Roar but you went ahead and tried to hit with your puny ass Ice Hammer." 

Erza walked up to them and bonked their heads, "Stop fighting." 

They both sat down and bowed their heads, "Sorry." They said

Erza shook her head and sighed, "You idiots.." She said before looking up at the second floor of the hall, "I wonder what happened, though...."

In the infirmary, behind a locked door, Makarov sat in a chair next to a bed. On a bed, Mavis laid unconscious still. Behind Makarov, Porlyusica stood. She had been called by Makarov to make sure Mavis's body was alright. 

"Her body seems healthy, Makarov." Porlyusica said, "But if she wakes up.....I am not-"

Suddenly, Mavis jerked awake, sitting up in a quick movement. 

"Ah!" She screamed as she trembled

Makarov immediately jumped off the chair and held her by the shoulders. 

"First!" He exclaimed, "Easy!" 

Porlyusica walked up to Mavis, "Calm yourself, First." She said, "It's okay." 

Mavis looked around, seeing it was those two, she immediately calmed down. 

"Oh..." She said, "I'm sorry...." 

She then looked down at her arms, moving her fingers. She widened her eyes in surprise, immediately recognizing this was her real body. 

"Wait.." She started, "Is this...." 

"Yes, First." He said, "This is your real body." 

"With a bonus side-effect." Porlyusica said

Mavis immediately recognized what she meant. She blushed as she touched her chest, squishing the two large breasts that she had. This caused Makarov to blush as he looked away. 

"Master..." He said

Mavis's body was now in its intended natural state, the body of a voluptuous 24-year-old woman. She was a couple of inches taller than she was when she was 13 but her body was fully matured to that of a woman's. 

"I don't know why, but it seems your body turned into the form it was supposed to be when you were frozen in that lacrima." Porlyusica said, "I checked it for any ill ailments but it's as healthy as a current 24-year-old woman's body is today." 

Mavis looked at her, "I....see.." She said, "But..." 

"Master Mavis..." Makarov said, "If you're worried about the curse....don't....you don't have it.." 

She widened her eyes, "H-How is that possible?" 

Porlyusica took a step back and gestured to the corner of the room where Jason sat. His left arm was heavily bandaged as he was slouched down. 

Mavis looked at him, "You're..." 

Jason looked up at her, "Name's Jason." He said, "I'm the one who saved you." 

Mavis then blushed slightly, "I see.." She said

Mavis then got off the bed, standing up. She was wearing a spare change of clothes that belonged to someone her size. She walked up to Jason as she looked at him. 

She noticed that his entire body was bandaged. 

"What happened?" She asked

"Ah this?" He said, "Don't worry. Just a result of my heroic actions." 

Jason then stood up, still towering over Mavis. He gave her a slight smile. 

"Seems my work was good." He said, "I'll take my leave." 

He was about to walk away but Mavis stopped him, grabbing him by the hand. 

"Wait." She said, "How did you do it?" 

Jason looked at her, "Long story." He said, "But I did it. Your curse was removed. Wasn't easy but I did it. I have a feeling I was the only one capable of doing that." 

Mavis looked at him in awe, "A-Are...." She stammered, "Wait." 

Jason turned around and pointed at her, "Check your stomach." He said

Mavis looked down and pulled up her shirt, revealing her stomach that had a light gray symbol of the guild's mark surrounded by flames. 

"This is..." She said

"I sealed Fairy Heart." Jason said, "Don't even ask how I did that too. You won't have to worry about that magic to out of control." 

Mavis looked at him, "W-why?"

Jason shrugged, "I don't know." He said, "I just felt like it. Anyways, I bet that being immortal kinda sucked and that's why this happened. I removed the curse but I have the feeling that the whole immortal thing is still a thing, the age-less aspect at least. "

Jason patted Mavis in the shoulder as Mavis looked at him. There were countless of questions that she had in her mind at the moment but none came out. She was completely baffled at what just happened. Emotions were all over the place but all she could do is stare at the man that helped her out. 

As a tear ran down her cheek, Mavis looked at Jason, "T-Thank you..." She uttered

Jason smiled and turned around, "No problem." He said, "Enjoy the second chance." 

He began to walk away towards the door. 

"W-Wait." Mavis called out

Jason stopped and looked at her. 

Mavis looked at him, "J-Join Fairy Tail!" She said

Jason smiled, "Nah." He said, 

"I'm good."
