65 Chapter 65 : Don’t come here!!

Kyros gazed steadily at Michello and the other magic judges, lifting her steps as she advanced towards them.

In a state of panic, Michello cried out, "Quickly! Protect me! I'm a councilor! You must protect me!!"

"Protect us now!"

"Guard the judges!"

Many soldiers of the Rune knights positioned themselves in front of the judges.

"Attack!"

Once again, the Rune knights unleashed their magic upon Kyros.

With a swift thought, beside Kyros, the indomitable and majestic form of the bell reappeared, enveloping him within like a legendary golden shield.

Every spell hurled towards Kyros was intercepted by the resolute bell. None of their magic could penetrate its defense.

Observing Kyros drawing nearer, the captain of the Rune knights shouted, "Quick! Deploy the magic shields!"

Immediately, numerous individuals leaned forward, activating their magic. One after another, the magic shields materialized, coalescing into a colossal barrier.

A smile graced Kyros's lips as he beheld their futile efforts. "Do you truly believe this can halt me?"

With clenched fists, Kyros struck the magic shield.

"Boom—!!"

The shield shattered into fragments.

"Ahhhh—!!"

Screams echoed as spellcasters were flung backwards, leaving only trembling magic commentators cowering behind the Rune knights.

"You... don't come any closer!!" Michello pleaded, crawling backward in horror.

Org composed himself and addressed Kyros, "Kyros! You've already committed a grave error! Do not compound it further!!"

Kyros couldn't help but chuckle at his words. "An error? What error have I committed? You never mentioned disbanding the Fairy Tail Guild, so naturally, Fairy Tail now stands as a Dark Guild."

"Is it an error for members of a Dark Guild to dismantle the Magic Council? It seems quite justified to me!"

The magic commentators felt a bitter taste in their mouths upon hearing Kyros's words—so justified, yet so unreasonable.

But your strength is beyond reason, capable of toppling tens of thousands of wizards with a single blow. Had they known they were provoking such a formidable foe, they would have turned a blind eye to the matter altogether.

Today's events left them pondering the idea of dissolving Fairy Tail altogether.

"That... the notion of dissolving the Fairy Tail Guild is still up for discussion..." ventured one magic commentator.

"Discussion? Why should we discuss? It would be simpler to just eradicate all of you."

"Phantom Lord ravages our Fairy Tail guild, and you remain indifferent. But the moment I retaliate, you actively intervene, leaving me to suspect that you've been bribed by Phantom Lord Guild."

"Don't speak nonsense!" The expressions of numerous onlookers shifted dramatically. If any hint of corruption or bribery was uncovered, the days of these magic commentators would swiftly meet their end.

Kyros sneered, retorting, "Nonsense? Merely idle chatter. What can you do to me? A heap of corpses, the Magic Council's feebleness is because of you lot."

"I've vanquished more Dark Guilds throughout the years than all your Magic Councils combined."

"You think you can imprison me and the old man? Dissolve Fairy Tail?"

"I fail to comprehend where you've mustered the audacity to incriminate me, to denounce Fairy Tail, merely relying on these lowly wizards? The Magic Council, at my whim, could perish you all in a blink."

"I had initially come to witness what just judgment you would pass, but this... is beyond disappointing."

"A Magic Council so entrenched in black and white is superfluous to endure."

"Boom—!"

With that declaration, Kyros raised his right hand, emanating a fearsome power, causing the earth to quake.

The Conqueror's Haki swiftly coalesced above Kyros's head, materializing into an immense sword.

All beheld the sword, fashioned from the Conqueror's Haki, their hearts quaking, bodies shivering incessantly. They sensed the specter of death emanating from the blade. Should it strike, death was certain. This individual truly harbored lethal intent towards them.

Kyros's hand poised to descend.

"No, stop—!"

Suddenly, a voice interjected, halting Kyros's impending strike.

Turning towards the source of the voice, they beheld Fairy Tail's guild master, Makarov, standing not far away.

"Master! What brings you here?" Kyros was taken aback at the sight of Makarov.

"Makarov!"

"Thank goodness! Makarov has arrived!"

"Makarov, why don't you rein in your guild member!"...

On any given weekday, the sight of Makarov was often met with disdain by many, for his guild members had a knack for stirring up trouble wherever they went.

Yet, on this particular day, several magic council members caught sight of Makarov, their expressions shifting as if they had just glimpsed a savior. Some even seemed eager to rush over and cling to Makarov's every word.

"Master, just hold on a bit longer, and I'll dismantle the Magic Council in no time," proclaimed Kyros, his enthusiasm barely contained.

With a swift movement, Makarov leaped behind Kyros and delivered a sharp slap to the back of his head.

"You reckless boy! How many times must I tell you to cease this madness?" Makarov scolded, his frustration evident.

Kyros, feigning innocence, replied, "But Master, why are you hitting me?"

"Because, you imbecile, your skull is as solid as a rock! My hand is still stinging from the impact," Makarov grumbled, rubbing his sore palm. Rare were the occasions when he resorted to physical discipline with Kyros, knowing all too well the futility of it.

"And just what do you think you're doing? Planning to lay waste to the Magic Council?" Makarov's voice held a note of concern.

Kyros nodded gravely. "Indeed, Master. I aim to eradicate the Magic Council altogether."

Makarov's brows furrowed in disbelief. "What madness possesses you? Why would you seek to destroy the Magic Council?"

"Master, they've just handed down their verdict. Eight years in prison for me, and one for you. Not to mention, they've ordered the disbandment of Fairy Tail," Kyros explained, his tone tinged with resentment.

"Disband Fairy Tail?!" Makarov's eyes blazed with fury.

"It's outrageous, Master," Kyros agreed, his voice echoing the sentiment shared by all.
