20 Chapter 20 : Let’s Go Together!

"I know, you commoners are unreliable; you're all worthless!"

Bora observed helplessly as his subordinates failed to impede Kyros and Natsu, while his fire magic was easily countered by Natsu.

Reluctantly, Bora acknowledged that this Natsu kid seemed stronger than himself, resigning to the reality of the situation.

Swish!

A blaze erupted beneath Bora's feet, propelling him into the air.

"Damn brats! I'm not at my best today. Consider yourselves lucky this time! But mark my words, next time we cross paths, it'll be your demise!"

"No! He's getting away!" Lucy exclaimed urgently.

Natsu roared, "We can't let him escape! Happy, let's pursue!"

However, he realized he couldn't move and turned to see Happy's wings flicker and dissipate into light.

"Not enough magic..."

"Bang!"

Natsu and Happy landed back on the deck.

"Ugh, I'm feeling so queasy~! Ugh~~~!!" Natsu's seasickness hit him the moment his feet touched the deck.

"Eh?! Talk about a stark contrast—!"

Moments ago, Natsu was battling fiercely and breathing fire, appearing formidable.

"Happy" remarked, "It's no use, Natsu can't handle any form of transportation!"

Bora was initially taken aback by Natsu's earlier words, but couldn't help but laugh at his current state. "Hahahaha! If you think you can catch up to me, you'll need another hundred years of practice!"

With that, Bora swiftly made his escape. Encountering members of Fairy Tail truly brought bad luck. To him, they were nothing more than ordinary goods.

Concerned, Lucy pondered, "What now? He's getting away!"

The leader of the trafficking ring fleeing meant countless innocent girls could potentially be abducted in the future.

"Happy" reassured with a serene smile, "Fear not, Kyros is on our side."

"Kyros?"

At that moment, dark clouds began to gather in the sky, and Kyros's voice echoed ominously, "The name of Fairy Tail has been besmirched. Whoever dares to wrong us shall face justice, no matter how far they flee!"

"Crack!"

A bolt of lightning streaked down from the sky, crashing onto the mace firmly gripped by Kyros.

The mace crackled with purple energy, a testament to the power of the lightning that enveloped it.

"Thundering Gossip!"

With a forceful swing, Kyros unleashed the might of his mace.

"Crack-!"

The air crackled as bolts of purple lightning erupted from Kyros's weapon.

Bora's attention was drawn by the commotion behind him. As he turned to look, he was met with the sight of a bolt of purple thunder hurtling towards him with such speed that evasion seemed impossible.

"No—-!!!"

"Pfft—!"

The purple thunder pierced Bora's body, leaving behind a gaping hole in his chest. The flames beneath Bora's feet sputtered out, and his body plummeted into the sea.

Despite battling seasickness, Natsu couldn't contain his excitement witnessing Kyros's prowess. "That's Kyros for you! Unyielding as ever!"

"Indeed!" Happy chimed in with agreement.

Lucy watched Kyros in astonishment. His demeanor seemed gentle, but his combat prowess was anything but. The sheer force of his recent attack was overwhelming.

Both 'Fire Dragon' Natsu and Kyros displayed extraordinary strength. Is this what it means to be a member of Fairy Tail, Lucy wondered.

A mage as formidable as Kyros could not possibly remain unknown.

A realization struck Lucy as she scrutinized Kyros – his long black hair, the black mace, and the emblem of Fairy Tail. She couldn't help but gasp in disbelief, covering her mouth with her hand. "Could it be?!"

Kyros cast a glance at the remaining traffickers.

They immediately fell to their knees on the deck, hands raised in surrender, their fear palpable as they gazed at Kyros. "We surrender!!"

After a while, the ship docked, and the army arrived to apprehend the traffickers. The dazed girls were safely rescued from their ordeal.

"Thank you immensely for your assistance! The kingdom has been hunting down this gang of traffickers, but they've eluded us thus far. Without your intervention, who knows how many more girls would have fallen victim to their schemes."

The captain of the stationed army expressed his gratitude to Kyros.

"It's our duty to uphold justice and aid those in need. Besides, anyone who dares to impersonate Fairy Tail for nefarious deeds must be dealt with," Kyros responded firmly.

"Hoo~! Coming back to life!" Natsu exclaimed as he stepped off the boat, his energy returning. Seasickness had been quite uncomfortable, especially after indulging in a hearty meal.

Food was too precious to waste by vomiting it all out.

Kyros addressed Natsu and Happy, saying, "That's behind us now. Let's head back to the guild. It's been too long since I last set foot there. I wonder how everyone's been."

"Absolutely!"

Kyros, Natsu, and Happy made their way toward the train station.

Meanwhile, Lucy stood by, her heart torn. Her dream was to join the esteemed Fairy Tail guild, yet she found herself hesitating.

Kyros and Natsu were undeniably powerful. Was it truly fitting for her to join such a formidable guild? Perhaps she should seek out a less challenging guild instead.

Suddenly, Kyros halted in his tracks, turning to face Lucy. "What are you lingering for? Aren't you planning to join Fairy Tail? Come along with us."

"Okay!!" Lucy responded with a gleeful smile.
