Salamander

In a land far far away lies the kingdom of fiore. A small peaceful nation of 17 million and a place filled with magic. Found in every home, bought, and sold in every market place. For most magic is merely a tool a mundane part of every day life. For some however magic is an art and they have devoted their lives to it's practice. These are the wizards. Banded together into magical guilds, they apply their skills in search of fame and fortune. Many such guilds dote the landscape of fiore, but there is a certain guild in a certain town that soars high above the rest. One from which countless legends have been born. A guild that will no doubt continue to create legends well into the future. It's name is FAIRY TAIL.

This is the port town Hargeon

Choo Choo

Stepping off the train is an excited young man. Standing at 6'8 with blonde spiky hair, wearing an opened purple collar shirt, blue shorts with a light blue sash over it, black sandals, and on his left leg is a straw decoration. This young mans name is Marco. Marco is a fire wizard, but his fire magic is unlike anything this world has ever seen.

" Oi Oi Oi, so this hargeon! Not bad now it should be a short walk to magnolia. To bad that train doesn't go there, it would make my life a lot easier. Oi that guy looks like he's about keel over. And..... is that a talking cat?"

The young man Marco has seen is named Natsu. Natsu is accompanied by his tiny cat friend happy. Happy is a small blue talking cat.

" Natsu we made it to hargeon, come on get up already." Happy said to his ill fallen friend.

" Never I'm never riding a stupid train again." Natsu said resisting the violent urge to vomit

" If our information is correct we should find that salamander in this town let's go Natsu."

" Just give me a sec would ya happy."

The train begins to move again taking along Natsu with it once again making the young man sick.

"Noooooo!" Natsu proclaimed beginning to feel sick again

"Uh oh! there he goes." Both Happy and marco both proclaim.

" Oh well hopefully that guy gets to where he's going for now let's try to find a place to eat."

Marco halts his journey to fairy tail choosing to find a place to eat first.

" Oi Oi where's the restaurant in this town? I've been walking around for an hour" Growl! Marco feels his let loose an audible. " Oh man this sucks why can't I find the damn restaurant? Hm!?

Marco notices a huge crowd creating a ruckus and decides to check it out.

" I wonder what's going on. What are all these girls getting excited about?" Marco asked confused as to why there was such a large gathering of women.

" It's salamander!" Marco overhears the girls screaming and recognizes the name.

"Salamander huh? From fairy tail guess this is my lucky day after all."

Marco heads towards the group as a certain pink haired young man runs through the girls.

"Igneel It's meee! Wait who the heck are you?"

"Who am I!? The man claiming to be salamander says. I'm salamander! Surely you've heard of me before?"

"Hm so that's salamander he certainly doesn't feel as strong as the rumors say he is." Marco uses one of his many abilities. This one being observation haki to find out how strong the so called salamander really is, and to his surprise it isn't salamander whose strength that draws his attention, no it's the pink haired young man. " Hm That guy is radiating much more strength than this so called salamander. Oh wait he's leaving."

Natsu learning that the man salamander isn't who he was looking for becomes disappointed and walks away as salamander announces himself.

Natsu is tackled by salamanders fan club and beaten ruthlessly.

" Damn they really are trying to kill him. Maybe i should step in." Marco said to himself trying to decide whether or not to help the poor boy being beaten senseless.

" Now now that's enough my lovelies I'm sure the poor boy didn't mean anything malicious about it."

" Oh salamander!" The girls all exclaimed with love in their eyes.

" Here's my autograph kid, now you can brag to all your friends."

" No thanks!" Natsu said not sensing the danger behind him as the ladies all had a look of murder in their eyes.

" Uh oh! Hey kid you might wanna run away now." Marco exclaimed hoping to help the young man out but..... And like that the girls all beat natsu again leaving him by a pile of trash.

" I guess that wasn't him after all." Happy the cat said to the injured natsu.

" Definitely wasn't him."

Marco seeing the boy injured decides to step in and help him out while the so called salamander took his leave.

" Hey kid you doing alright?"

" Yeah I'm fine."

' Here hold still for a minute." Marco said to natsu as his hand ignited into blue and yellow flames.

" Huh! what's this?"

" Oh this is just one of my abilities the flames of healing I call them."

" Oh thanks then. Oh man who was that guy?"

" I don't know but he was a real creep." A young lady with blonde hair said walking over to the three. " Thank you for you help though."

Tick Tock Tick tock. And then at the restaurant

"Mm I was looking for this place thanks so much for bringing us here lucy. Hey natsu pass the pasta please." Marco says gorging himself on the food in front of him.

" Sure Marco here ya go." Natsu says also gorging himself the two fire wizards eating so much so fast food goes flying everywhere.

" Oi Oi so lucy you're telling me that guy was using a charm spell to attract all those ladies?"

" Yes he was, but it's weird charm spells have been banned for years nobody even sells them anymore. He must have gone through a lot of trouble to get his hands on it what a creep. I totally fell victim for his spell, but I snapped out of it when you two came barging in when you did. I really can't thank you guys enough."

" No problem lucy." Natsu and marco said as they continued stuffing their faces.

" I know I may not look like it, but I'm a wizard too."

" Is that so?" Natsu said

" Yeah, but I haven't joined a guild yet or anything. Oh I should probably explain huh?! See guilds are these organizations where wizards come together to share information and find work and things like that. Unfortunately you aren't considered a full fledged wizard until you become a member of a guild, but there are tons of them all over the world. I heard it's really tough to get into the more popular ones and the guild I wanna join is the most popular one there is. They're the greatest and they're always featured in sorcerer weakly. Oh If I can convince them to let me in I might die." Lucy said smoke blowing out of her nose.

Natsu happy and Marco all stare at each other with confusion on their faces.

" Oh I'm sorry all this wizarding talk must sound like a bunch of gibberish to you huh! but I'm telling you I'm definitely gonna join that guild someday, and then I'm gonna take all kinds of exciting jobs and make tons of money."

"Oh yeah?" Natsu says

" You talk a lot." Happy says

" Yeah lucy that was really something." Marco says still eating

" Oh man I almost forgot you guys came here looking to find somebody didn't you?"

" Yeah we're looking for igneel." Happy says

" We heard a rumor that salamander was coming to this town so we came here to see him. Turns out it was somebody else." Natsu says sounding disappointed

" Yeah that guy didn't look like a salamander at all."

" No kidding I bet that poser can't even breathe fire like a real dragon."

Raaaaawr

" Huh!" lucy said shocked looking like her eyes were going to pop.

" Aye. Igneel is a real life fire dragon."

" HUH!?"

Even in this magnificent world of magic, dragons are considered extraordinary mystical creatures. They are rarely seen by the human eye, but they aren't the only mystical creatures in this wonderful world.

" A dragon huh! Badass." Marco said to natsu with a grin on his face. Lucy however.

" WHY WOULD A FIRE DRAGON SHOW UP IN THE MIDDLE OF TOWN?" Lucy yells asking natsu and happy why they would think to find igneel here. Natsu and happy responded with a look of stupidity on their faces practically screaming we're idiots.

" It's totally ridiculous! Well i should get going enjoy the rest of your lunch and maybe I'll see you around. Lucy says putting money on table as she gets ready to leave the restaurant.

" Thank you ma'am please come again." The waitress said before being shocked by natsu and happys' actions.

" Thank you for the food." They say as they kneel on their floor.

" Hey cut it out you're embarrassing me. Look it's cool you guys helped me out earlier so let's call it even."

" I feel bad though because we weren't even trying to help her."

" I didn't really help her at all I kind of just followed you natsu." Marco said finishing his food.

" Yeah we owe her something." happy said

" Oh I KNOW! Here this is for you." Natsu says handing lucy his autograph from salamander.

" hahahaha Oi Oi natsu you're funny." Marco said to natsu laughing as lucy declined his offer as she left. " So natsu what are you going to do now?"

" Huh! oh yeah me and happy here are just going to head back to the guild."

" Oh you're in a guild natsu!? Which one is it?"

" We're wizards from fairy tail."

" Really is that so! I was actually trying to find way there to join fairy tail mind if I join you on your way back?"

" Sure it'll be fun having ya at the guild."

" Awesome thanks man. Go finish eating I've already had my fill."

" Nah I'm full too let's go."

" Alright the bills already paid"

Marco, Natsu, and Happy all take their leave from the restaurant

" Hehe That was quite the meal ey happy?"

" Aye! Hey look you think that's the boat where that salamander guy is having his party? Happy asks as natsu once again looks like he's gonna vomit.

" Oh motion sickness that bad huh buddy that's rough." As Marco comments on natsus motion sickness the group overhears three girls talking about salamander being apart of fairy tail.

" Fairy tail?" Natsu whispers with an angry look on his face. " That guys apart of fairy tail huh? Happy let's go."

" Aye Sir!"

Happy transforms and takes off with natsu flying towards the ship.

" Hey DON'T LEAVE WITHOUT ME! Oh man they just left me here guess I'm flying solo." Marco said jumping off the building he was on turning into a phoenix flying off to catch up with natsu and happy. Crashing down onto the boat seconds after they did. Landing in front of everyone in a sea of blue flames. " Oi natsu how about giving me the plan the next time you decide to run off like this." Marco said looking down on the sick natsu. " Oh motion sickness again buddy that sucks."

" Wait Marco you're with natsu and happy?"

" Yeah I was gonna join them, but for now I think we got some trash to deal with first. Happy take lucy and go."

" Aye! sir. Hold on lucy."

" Hurry after them we can't let them report this to the magic counsel. Prominence wind."

" Oh no you don't. Marco said as His wings of fire erupted. Jumping into the sky to block the attack. "You can't just... go for.... The ladies you know." Marco said to salamander as the holes in his body from the attack begin to close revealing a man flying in the sky covered in blue flames.

" What the Who the hell are you?" Salamander asked with fear in his voice

All of a sudden a massive wave hits the boat sending it and everyone on it flying towards the city.

" Damn it who sent the boat flying like that." Marco said as he made his way back towards hargeon. Marco lands on the beach as everyone else begins to stir " Lucy happy you guys alright?"

" Aye! sir."

" Marco what was that were you flying just now?"

" I'll explain later for now let's take care of business, Where's natsu?"

" So you claim to be a member of fairy tail guild."

" So what's it to you. Go get him men."

" Sir!"

" Let me get a closer look at your face." Natsu said as he discarded his jacket.

"Natsu look out!" Lucy yelled

" Don't worry about him I probably should have told you this earlier, but he's a wizard too.

" Huh!" Lucy said in surprise

Natsu easily smacks the two attackers to the side and proclaims his identity. " My name is natsu I'm a fairy tail wizard and i've never seen you before.. Natsu said to salamander in anger.

" You've got to be kidding me. So natsu is a fairy tail wizard."

" That mark on his arm this guy's the real deal bora."

" Don't call me that!"

" I know him that's bora the prominence. Rumor has it he was kicked out of the titans nose wizard guild years ago for bad behavior."

" I have no idea what you're trying to do here buddy, and I don't care if you're a good guy bad guy or what. I'm not gonna let you dirty the fairy tail guilds name."

" What are you gonna do about it? stop me! Prominence typhoon!" He shouted as a wave of purple fire hit natsu. " That's the way it goes the bigger the talk the smaller the man."

" Yuck this is so gross. Are you sure you're a fire wizard? Because these are the nastiest flames I've tasted." Natsu said as everyone, but marco yelled in surprise. " Thanks for the grub poser."

" What's going on here who is this kid?"

" Fire magic doesn't work on natsu." Happy said with a his ghastly eyes.

" I've never seen anything like that." Lucy said in astonishment.

" Ahhh I see. Now I know why this kid seemed so strong. I never thought I'd meet one again after all these years." ( Another dragon) Marco thought to himself.

" Now I've got a fire in my belly that's raging to get out. Here goes FIRE DRAGON ROAAAAR!" Natsu yelled as he blasted a raging beam of fire out of his mouth destroying most of the city around us.

" Hey bora I swear I seen this guy before. The pink hair and the scaly looking scarf. There's no doubt about it he's gotta be the real one."

" Salamander."

" So he's one of those is he."

" One of those? Marco what do you mean? Do you know what kind of magic he's using?"

" Yeah I do! Dragon lungs that allow him to breathe fire, Dragon scales to help him dissolve fire, and Dragon claws that allow him to attack with fire. His brand of magic is an ancient type of magic like mine that's rarely used anymore. His type of magic was used to defeat dragons. It's called dragon slayer magic. I'm guessing Igneel was the one who taught it to him." Marco explained to lucy the special qualities of natsus magic as he and bora battled.

" You're not doing to bad." Natsu says to bora as he eats his fire spell again. " But I'm about to cook you like a smoked fish."

" You're about to do what to me?"

" Get ready! FIRE DRAGON IRON FIST!" Natsu yelled as he charged bora with a fist of fire sending him flying towards the city bell.

"Don't be silly natsu everybody knows you smoke food with smoke not fire." Happy said to natsu.

" Whoa that was amazing, but he overdid it." Lucy proclaimed with happy simply responding with an Aye.

" Damn natsu not bad. Next time try to ease up on the destruction." Marco said to natsu

" Huh! Why?"

" Because the armies coming you idiot."

" Oh Crap we gotta get out of here." Natsu yelled as he grabbed lucy and happy dragging them with him, With Marco right behind him.

" Where the heck are you taking me?" Lucy yelled in shock.

" Just come on you said that you wanted to join the fairy tail guild didn't ya.... So let's go." Natsu said to lucy with a smile

" Alright!" Lucy responded in excitement.

" Hey natsu remind me not to let you fight in a city again you idiot." Marco yelled at natsu as they made their way away from hargeon and the army towards Magnolia and The Home of Fairy tail.

" Alright let's go!" Natsu yelled happily.
