183. Dorma Anim
'That strange machine, is it the one that they'll use to absorb my magic power? Let's see how that thing works then,' thinks Ben as he looks at the strange machine.
Suddenly, Faust shoots his magic again even though he knows it doesn't work on Ben. Ben just brush it off like before, but after the magic is gone, a glass vial suddenly hits him and breaks. From the vial, a high amount of green sticky substance comes out and covers Ben's body.
Now Ben can't move because of the substance, not that he will move even without it. He wants to look at the magic power extractor, so he won't move. Then some soldiers surround him and tie him with chains.
Faust & Byro laugh and ridicule him before they use the machine. Byro gets closer and activates the magic power extractor machine. When it gets activated, Ben suddenly feels his magic power getting pulled by it.
Ben has a pained expression now because it is very painful when one lost their magic power. The greater one's magic power is, the bigger its effect will be. That's why when Makarov got his magic power depleted by Aria, he got in a very bad condition.
"Hahaha, now where's your arrogant face? You are nothing but a magic power supply for us," says Faust arrogantly.
"Yeah, yeah, bla bla bla, you sure know how to talk," says Ben smugly.
*Poof*
Ben suddenly turns into smoke and disappears from his position. Everyone gets surprised and looks around to find him. Then they find Ben right beside the machine as if he is examining the machine.
"Hmm, so that's how this thing works," says Ben as AI Chip finished the scanning.
"Y-You, how could you be there?" asks Faust.
"I have been here since earlier. The one that you caught and absorb is my clone. It has a little portion of my magic power, so you can absorb it. But I must admit, you're really good at creating tools. Too bad that you use it against us," says Ben as he rips the bloating part behind the machine.
It is where his clone's magic power that got absorbed stored. He has no intention of letting these people have his magic power. So he will take it back by ripping the storage and eating his magic power again.
"Normally, I can't eat my own magic. But it seems I can eat it again if it left my body forcefully. Well, maybe I can eat it because its owner is this machine now, not me," says Ben after he finished eating the magic power.
"Bastard! How dare you!" says Faust angrily.
"I dare, why won't I be? I even dare to destroy this machine," says Ben as he swings his sword.
Ben creates a golden slashing arc and cuts the machine in half. Then he flashes to Byro and grabs the tools that Byro used to absorb his magic power. He breaks it immediately and then punched Byro in the stomach with a solar energy-covered fist
"Gahk!" Byro flings back and hits the wall before he falls and faints.
Now the last enemy leader that he needs to fight is Faust. But just when Ben wants to attack, something emerges from the floor. Ben jumps back to avoid it and to get a better look at it.
"What the hell," says Ben as he looks at it.
The thing that emerges from the floor is a giant metal egg. But it seems to be something that turned into an egg shape. There are some chains that tied the egg as it floats.
"Hahaha, now you won't have any chance again, brat," says Faust who has entered the egg when Ben was distracted.
"You said something similar before," says Ben.
"Hmph, this is different because this is the ultimate weapon, Dorma Anim," says Faust.
"Bla bla bla, you talk too much. Let's just start. I haven't fought a good opponent since I fought Jose, so I hope you can give me a good fight," says Ben while he smirks.
"Hmph, I will shut that arrogant mouth soon," says Faust.
Suddenly, the metal egg gets released from the chains that tied it. Then it starts to move and slowly it opens up. When the transformation finished, it turns into a mecha dragon.
"Hoo, impressive. It's like Godzilla. No, wait! It's like one of my brothers' collections when he was a kid. I think it's Bakugan," says Ben.
"Stop your blabbering," says Faust as he controls the Dorma Anim to punch Ben.
Ben jumps to the side and avoids the punch that destroys the floor.
"Oi oi oi, this is your castle. Do you want to destroy it?" asks Ben.
"This is just a small price for Edolas's future. As long as I can get your magic power, then I don't care even if this castle gets destroyed," says Faust.
'He's crazy. I don't really care if he dies, but there are many people inside this castle. The soldiers are ready to die, but what about the maids and other servants? They are innocents. And this is in the middle of the city, so it's dangerous. I need to take this fight somewhere,' thinks Ben before he runs away.
"Now you finally realize your powerlessness and run away. But I won't let you go," says Faust as he chases Ben.
Faust controls the Dorma Anim to run as fast as it can, but it still can't get closer to Ben. Ben is just too fast in his Light Mode and this is not even his full speed. He just runs rather fast so that Dorma Anim can keep up with him.
A while later, he finds an empty Amusement Park and stops there. This place is wide enough for their battle and there's no one here. There won't be any casualties if they fight here.
Faust laughs seeing Ben stop and immediately attack Ben. Surprisingly, the first attack is a Roar attack, just like a Dragon Slayer's Roar. Unless this roar doesn't have elemental property, just a magic beam.
But that makes it more dangerous because Ben doesn't have immunity to it. He can't take this head-on, so he counters it with his Sun Dragon's Solar Roar. Ben wants to test the Mecha Dragon's attack power by countering it.
To his surprise, their attacks cancel each other. He has used a lot of power in his attack, so that means the Mecha Dragon has similar attack power. It makes him rather excited because this Mecha Dragon can be a good opponent.
The Dragon suddenly shoots a lot of glowing missiles toward Ben. Ben gets away from his spot but the missiles chase him. They're like homing missiles. But some of them hit the ground and explode.
Ben looks at it and decides to receive the missiles. He gets hit and all the missiles explode on him. Faust laughs but then he stops when he sees the fire from the explosion gets sucked by something, it's Ben.
"You know, I recently found out that I am immune to the heat-based explosion. It's because this kind of explosion always happens in the Sun. So your attack won't work. You even give me more strength with this attack, how kind of you," says Ben while smirking.
Faust gets angry and shoots some more missiles that look different from before. The missiles explode in front of Ben but they also don't work like before. It makes Faust frustrated, so he takes out his trump card.
Suddenly, the Dorma Anim transforms again. Its silver color turns black and it now stands straight like a human. Blades also appear on both of its hands and it looks far stronger than before.
"Dorma Anim: Black Sky!"
