~Third POV~
Time passed as Rou and Mavis both joined in with the Natsu group enjoying the beach genuinely enjoying one another company.
The majority of times would be when the Natsu group asked questions of the two wanting to learn more about their past.
Even mentioning meeting a fire dragon when they learned of Natsu's reasoning for finding his father Igneel surprised him greatly as Mavis told him they met a dragon in the past that mentioned his father's name.
Listening to that Natsu's ears perked up interested as Mavis discussed Atlas Flame the Hell Flame Dragon when they were younger with Rou giving his input being true and privately showing them a recording with his Archive Magic.
The group was surprised but more so was Natsu excited to learn that he found a lead to finding Igneel with Mavis and Rou withholding information they got from Zeref about him and letting him figure out when he meets Atlas Flame.
As time went by the group eventually departed to change into different clothing with the majority leaving towards the basement where the casino was being held.
At that time Lucy managed to get Erza out of her room and managed to get her to the basement area where the casino is being held with the events already unfolding…

"Ohhhhhh!!!!"
Flipping a stack of cards revealing to be a royal flush the crowd within the audience was surprised by her amazing luck Lucy next to her commented, "You're incredible, Erza?!!"
Erza closing her eyes as she easily flipped the cards merely shrugs but a smug expression on her face speaks for herself, "Heh heh… Luck is with me tonight."
*Gwip*
Suddenly a person is a young man with blond hair, arranged in a wavy style with fringes hanging above his forehead, and tanned skin. He has somewhat dark beady eyes and a small 5-shaped tattoo can be located below his lower lip. He also has an earring with diamond ornaments attached to his left ear and wore a waistcoat with yellow buttons.
The person moved the old dealer aside as he took charge immediately, "New dealer."
"Huh…? Wait a minute…"
The old dealer couldn't do much as he allowed the new dealer to be in control listening over to Erza's words with her eyes closed, "I'm afraid there is no dealer who can change my luck now."
Lucy encourages her friend with her fist raised up in agreement, "Darn straight!"

Shuffling the cards of the deck the new dealer began to talk to Erza as he tosses the cards to her in a gruff tone, "If so, then shall we play a special game? And we won't be simply be betting for a few coins…"

Tossing the cards down on the table Erza opens her eyes to read the words 'DEATH' on each card having a letter as her gaze finally lands on the dealer as he finally finished his sentence, "Let's gamble… a life. Big sister Erza!"
Erza gets shaken easily seeing one of her old slave friends during her time building the Tower of Heaven mumbling in a shocked tone, "Sho…"
Now identified as Sho tilted his head expressing a wicked grin to her and greeting her back, "Long time, no see… big sis."
Lucy looking between the two looked rather confused by the situation mumbling out, "Huh? Huh?"
Erza for her part trembles but finds some strength to ask Sho some greetings, "So you… are all right…"
Sho for his expression darkens at Erza mumbling to her, "Okay…?"
Erza sweats a bit as she tries to backstep what she says trying to find the right words, "Ah… no, I mean…"
*WOOOOSH*
Suddenly darkness blankets the whole area of the casino…

~Rou POV~
Well, talking to the main characters was certainly an interesting experience for me if I'm being honest.
Considering time passed and Mavis and I are enjoying our time after answering some questions with members of the main gang, I feel like I'm a bad boyfriend at times.
For example…

Gambling for example.
Currently were both inside the basement level of the amusement park of Akane Beach resort with Mavis trying her luck at gambling much to her dismay with her being very bad at these games…
Which is surprising with her mind I would've thought she would use the counter trick on the cards against the house cheating without getting caught but I guess that isn't invented yet... maybe.
It makes it very hard for me to watch as I see her try again after losing but seeing the dealer smirking at her he spoke to her calmly, "I'm sorry my lady but I'm afraid the house wins. Would you like to try again?"
Mavis pouts as I couldn't help but laugh seeing her not win a single match of a casual game of poker, "Hahaha! Sorry dear, but it seems like you have finally met your match in something you are bad at. And that just so happens to be gambling."
She rolls her eyes but then asks me to take on the house seeing how much talk I was doing of how bad of a gambler she really is, "Really? In that case how about you try then? Hey dealer my friend would like to try Blackjack!"
Hey!!!
With no hesitation, the dealer nodded and began giving me the game of cards with me frowning at this.
She knows very well I'm a very horrible gambler!
And I have a brick hand. Fuckkkk...

Holding onto Mavis's hand I didn't let her go as we were surrounded by the darkness enveloping everyone while they run in the chaos but unlike them, we remained calm through all of this mess happening.
Seeing this magic…
Listening to Mavis mutter the words she already figured that much from the general surroundings of the area it seems, "Darkness Magic. Or to be specific Dark Moment is quite an interesting spell."
Interesting indeed.
Dark Moment is a spell, which allows the user to remove all the lights within a wide range that is enough to cover an entire casino hall, turning everything pitch black. This prevents opponents from seeing their surroundings while distracting them and putting them at a disadvantage…
But unfortunately, this kind of magic doesn't work for us.
Having our time adjusting our eyes to the dark on Tenrou Island was a training exercise we did if ever an invader comes at night we train to run away or find each other in case a plan like using the darkness to our advantage ever occurs.
This spell weakness is when the opponents who can see in the darkness will be unaffected by such spell or to be exact adjusted to seeing the dark.
Moving my eyes freely around I noticed our main culprit already walking in a direction right away.
Simon a part of Team Jellal, a group of former slave children who attempted to rebuild the Tower of Heaven, also known as the R-System. His also the older brother of Kagura….
But he died to protect Erza Scarlet from Jellal Fernandes in this arc during the Tower of Heaven…
Simon is a very massive, tall, and muscular young man, with his overly large arms and hands appearing even larger compared to his extremely thin legs but is more well-proportioned. His mildly long dark hair possessed two prominent bangs curving outwards on the front, framing and partially covering the upper part of his face.
Simon's left eye was covered in a simple, dark eyepatch, held up by an extremely slim rope, with a thin scar emerging from under it and going down diagonally on his cheek. His massive jaw was obscured by an armored metal plate, bearing lines of studs on its upper edges and two side protrusions jutting upwards, plus a set of teeth-like ornaments, overall resembling a skeletal jaw.
Seeing our culprit though Mavis's eyes dart towards the man as he stops meeting our gaze as I casually wave at him talking with the man, "Now there, young man don't you know it's rude to simply ruin the atmosphere here? Or go about attacking our fairies in this darkness?"
Simon's eye widens slightly as we were able to see him through the darkness mumbling to himself, "I see… then I'm afraid I have to take care of you both."
Mavis for her part frowns seeing him as he comes towards us as we remain as we are with her speaking up, "You know there are many ways this could go young man. One of them involves violence the other is talking this out. I prefer the nonviolent means to what's going to happen next."
Listening Simon for his part listened before commenting out loud his next course clearly displease in his actions, "I for one don't usually go for this. Just merely following orders despite how much I dislike the idea of harming people."
Oh…
These guys have some really BIG balls to try and SLAP my lover right in front of me. You know what?
Screw helping this punk and whatever sob story he has.
Any who dare or so much as harm or smack my wife will receive a full course or PAIN and REGRET after I'm done with him.

He went ahead and try to bitch slap my Mavis away but I surprised him as I acted quicker than him raising my elbow and transmuting my arm into complete Maginium repelling his magic, "Yeah… not the brightest banana out of the bunch ain't yah fella? Trying to slap my lover? VERY, very bad move."
*BAM*
"Ack!"
Slamming my leg forming a roundhouse sending Simon skidding on the floor and causing small cracks he looks directly at me activating a magic circle and calling out his attack, "Dark Blast –"
"Dispel."
*Zzzzz*
Pointing at his magic circle completely dispelling the spell I thanked Mavis for the assist there smacking my first together with them and transmuted into Maginium, "Thanks, sweety! I'll take care of this brat shortly before we find the rest! Or do you want to go ahead and search for them?"
Mavis smiles with a nod replying to my early response as I get my attention fully on Simon now realizing how he fucked up now, "No probs! I got their Magic Power of 3 in the other part of the Casino! I'll go check on the kids while you teach that bully of teaching him a lesson on how to treat a lady! Chao!"
Like that, she began to leave right ahead taking her time.
I don't need to usually worry about her safety she's a grown woman in more ways than one hehe…
Cracking my neck giving good old Simon here my attention cracking my knuckles at him, "Now then boy… how about I introduce you to what I call the Fist of Love. I'll beat the LOVE into you…"
Simon manages to mumble the words purely confused at my choice of words, "Love…?"
Simon mumbles confused as I expressed a feral grin and possibly an angry one since he tried to slap my Mavis, "Love is an acronym, my poor child. Love means my Level of Violence and I'm about to go full overdrive on you?!!!"
No one tries to slap my lover except for me in bed!
No hard feelings Simon but there is a limit to how much someone does that to someone I love!
Better prepare that ass boy because I'm about to beat some sense into you!!
