51 Chapter 51: Eclipse Gate (1)

Also for the play style, I'm still uncertain but I'm leaning towards Yami from Black Clover play style or Shadow Magic play style like Shadow Monarch of sorts. Also, the interesting idea should the MC form his own literal guild of gamers or not.

Chapter 51: Eclipse Gate (1)
~Rou POV~
After finishing up some questions regarding us Mavis and I took a breather from answering any past questions and seeing the guild members react this curious especially Cana for tips about her Magic Cards close to my own.
I promised her I'll explain more later since I find her magic to be cool in my opinion.
Dispel, Telekinesis, and Magic Cards are some Magic that are underutilized and can be seen with great potential under the right circumstance but the required knowledge for them can be difficult to comprehend.
Taking a breather and a taste of ale I drank some feeling the nice buzz running down my throat taking my chance to relax, "Ah… now this takes the edge right off. Still, tastes the same all this time too. Nothing like some cool nice ale to soothe the weary worries behind. Ahhhh...."
I heard laughter coming off from the barkeep Mirajane taking her time to compliment us seeing her for the first time, "Hahaha… Well, that's certainly comforting to hear. So… does that make you two the newest people to join. Welcome to Fairy Tail you two!!"
Mavis nodded her head replying to Mirajane in her cheerful tone, "Thanks for allowing us to join! Hopefully, it will be a pleasure to be joining such a group!!"

Rolling my eyes taking another jug of the ale enjoying the flavor as I replied to Mirajane with a smirk, "Yeah… it will really be great to get the swing of things again. But enough about that is it true that you are called the best model in Fiore? Don't seem like much to me."
Mirajane didn't react at all as she tilted her head cutely trying to flirt with me trying to be playful or coy, I couldn't tell, "Oh? Do you not see me as the best or most beautiful girl in Fiore then-newbie Rou-san?"
Expressing a smug look as I grab my Mavis by the waist drawing closer to me making her blush as I replied back, "Nope. I don't find you that attractive at all. After all, how could I when I have the most beautiful woman in my arms right now?"
Mavis blushes hard but doesn't deny the teasing I'm giving her Mirajane's eyes widen slightly before putting her hand over her mouth in surprise, "Oh my! You are quite the bold man to say that with a girl blushing like that! I didn't know you two were a thing! Although, the others might not agree."
Turning around I soon find myself with shocked looks of me saying Mirajane is not beautiful as my Mavis leading to a scrum debate of sorts with them of pure disbelief I said Mirajane wasn't as hot as my girl.
"That bastard!"
"How dare he think Mirajane isn't hot?!!"
"Such blasphemy words Marco!!"
"Aye! The newbie is asking for a brawl that's what!!"
"His existence is a sin to man!"
"Such blasphemy doesn't need to exist! Am I right men!!"
"AYE!!!"
How dare they think my Mavis is not sexy or cute!
I'll be sure to beat them up with my fucking Fist of LOVE. It was something I was nicknamed for back in the war…
And it's not the loving kind it's the one to determine my LEVEL OF VIOLANCE to them hence the nickname Fist of LOVE. Never heard of the phrase that LOVE ain't enough?

Best life accomplishment I ever did in my life.
My enemies surely remembered my Fist of LOVE in action more than once to cause them to tremble in fear.
Although this did stir some memories I had with my guys in the past.
Like that, I spent most of my time arguing or brawling back with the guild members.
It was fun.
Like old times messing with Precht, Warrod, and Yuri.
Maybe after a few days of rest and learning new magic but first we have to deal with that mission before we can do anything else.
Time to complete our original quest and enjoy our life and find a way to kill some pesky dragons for good….

"So, it's time huh?"
Listening to Mavis by my side I nodded since we needed to get this job done since we got requested by Zeref to do it.
Nodding my head towards Mavis walking down the path of Magnolia town as I replied, "Yup. We need to finish that quest after all and after that…"
I didn't know what to say next since after that would be the future we would be facing Mavis took notice finishing my sentence and leaning on my arm, "After that, we simply enjoy our future. Of course, we have to deal with 'that' later when the S-Class Trials happen but… the question is should we or not?"
Yeah…
We know that the members of Fairy Tail, will be fine but us allowing our children to be harmed were we ok with it?
Of course, Mavis and I decided to think things through with this idea of letting some events take their course in history since they don't need us to hold their hands.
Along with the fact Erza, Gray, Natsu, Lucy, and the rest can handle things on their own since we only came forward in time to destroy some stupid gate for good without the worry of Armageddon happening any time soon.
Although…
"Booooo…!"
Listening and seeing trains was certainly a surprise for Mavis as her eyes shine brightly seeing the future considering we had to travel on foot in our own time as trains weren't invented yet – damn it.
I let a good opportunity like that escape from me.
There goes being rich trying to create trains…
I wonder if air travel is a viable option.
Regardless though we both looked at Magnolia train station with awe seeing the trains from all around the place along with people lining up for a ride.
Mavis on the other hand is ecstatic seeing the future of travels with that same childlike innocence I saw when we were kids, "So coooool! I never saw this contraption known as a 'train' before but seeing it makes people travel a lot easier… kind of wish we had something like that in our time. But it beats walking around!"
Stifling a laugh at Mavis's actions we finally met up with a receptionist lady asking for us to pay for the ride to our destination, "Hello sir and madam. What destination would you like to travel using the Fiore Express today?"
Smiling at this I was the one to begin conversation properly with the lady happily, "We would like two tickets to Crocus. The city capital I was hoping to finally show my girlfriend there."
At this, the receptionist smiled saying we need to pay 5000 Jewels each for the ride to which we complied since our secret stash of Jewels over the years apart is still worth the same as is in the present.
A win for economics I say.
Like that, I paid for everything as Mavis and I both entered inside since we both managed to have time to use Requip Magic something I personally enjoy having around all the time like my personal inventory.
Requip is a Caster Magic the Spatial kind that's related to the summoning of various types of equipment.
This Magic allows the users to store items in a pocket dimension so they can easily summon it at any time, even during battle, which gives them a high level of flexibility in combat. However, there is a limit to how much the pocket dimension can store.
Requip can be used for simple or combat-related purposes. Some users may just choose to use it to change their clothing.
More skilled users are able to Requip different weapons in battle, and it is even possible to Requip armor in the midst of battle, although the only known Mages to ever do this are Erza Scarlet and a few others.
Requip users can also project a holographic inventory screen where they can view and organize items in their pocket dimension, as well as add items without the user equipping it themselves.
And man…
I'm glad I can carry our belongings along having my old home again after paying for it with my own Jewels from our private treasure trove hidden underneath the guild.
Entering inside the train rises to smell the nice fresh industrialized train air fresheners of the train with Mavis's eyes gazing inside while we take our seats as she spoke, "Amazing! Amazing! We have such an easier way to travel… the future sure is amazing. I'm definitely going to enjoy sightseeing the view."
Nodding in agreement I don't mind walking to save cash, but I prefer the lovely sensation of going by train or vehicle which I would need in the future.
Taking our seats, we waited awhile before the train finally started to move we both looked our eyes at the window seeing the ever-increasing distance of Magnolia town leaving us further and further we go.
"Amazing…"
Mavis kept muttering how surprising it was everything changing around us and how we got so used to things in the past changing to the ever going future.
Using trains is going to get some used to as well feeling a bit uncomfortable sitting here but at the same time I view through the window of towns and forest areas of wildlife as we pass through them with our eyes widening.
Amazing is right…
Back in the old time, we had to walk and camp but here is different.
We can simply enjoy the view…

A few hours later though the enjoyment of the sights changed into boredom with Mavis pouting at the window commenting the sightseeing bore her, "Rou… staring at the window for a long while I got bored… do you have something to pass the time?"
Using my Requip magic I took out a book novel I haven't created or published yet since my old editor and publisher is dead Mavis read the contents happily, "Oh? Never finished novels of yours. Sweet! What title does it say… RWBY huh? Up to Volume 9. Wonder what this story is about… time to find out."
Smirking at that I haven't had enough time to finish that unlike my previous works of Demon Slayer and Sherlock Holmes books I created. Since 90% of people seem to like the idea of a non-magic world using science it earned me a pretty penny in the old days.
Of course, the 10% of Magic Casters also read it for good fun so I get a lot of cash out of them which earned me plenty of Jewels but I guess I need to reestablish this again with a new work of mine.
Although we passed Peace Village, we are going to need to stop at Era for us to rest for the night before we head towards Crocus for the remaining part of the day.
It will be interesting seeing how the Magic Council changed compared to the past.
Sigh…
Right, there is Jellal and Ultear to deal with I wonder how they would react to someone fucking with them of their plans?
Hmm…
To ruin a plot or not that is the question.
I'll figure it out when I have the chance.
Till then I'll simply pass the time writing down my own personal Alchemy book in code like usual. It helps eases my mind into mathematical equations and formulas along with different possibilities and such.
Or…
I could simply be writing down some future book series called 'One Piece' but hey it sure does pass the time quite nicely.
