Chapter 50: 'New' Members

~Rou POV~

Sitting inside the Fairy Tail Guild building office again but this time seeing Makarov after he recovered going over the original photo of the founders gazing at us multiple times in disbelief after being given enough time to recover.

It was after the Magic Council interrogated the Fairy Tail members gathering reports and testimony about what happened.

It was best we didn't interfere and dealt with the Magic Council right now as Mavis clarified it would only overcomplicate matters if we tried.

Hence, we waited for everything to blow over and start talking to Makarov about our situation to which he was surprised by our time-traveling quest.

Mavis merely fidgeted her fingers as did I when Makarov finally took in a deep breath but smiled happily at us when he spoke, "Sigh… it has been a very long time you know. To meet the founders of Fairy Tail Ake Rou the Fairy Saint. Mavis Vermillion the Fairy Tactician. To think the day, I was born that you two time traveled into the future."

Yup.

We explained to Makarov how we managed to get into the present thanks to Future Levy with him sighed as we explained part of the plans of coming to the future to destroy the Eclipse Gate by one the info of the future of one of our members forewarning the danger being Future Mavis warning us.

And to make him believe us we used The Judgement Field to ensure all we said were truthful words for him to believe as he rubs his fingers between the bridge of his face.

We also made sure to leave out some crazy plans Zeref spoke to us along with us getting requested him to make sure he doesn't have a heart attack in his old age.

The only information we spoke about to Makarov is letting him know about the reason we came to the future-by-Future Mavis words possessing Future Levy in order to stop the Eclipse Gate.

We didn't explain the future events happening since we both couldn't change too much of the future as it is now though since we both agreed only change the events of what we know if at all possible, without leaving a drastic butterfly effect…

Well anymore, then what we're doing right now anyway…

Turning off The Judgement Field Makarov took in a deep breath before finally responding to the both of us, "Sigh… I swear you two are going to send me to an early grave. But if it's to ensure keep the future safe I'll be sure to say that both of you are new members to the initial reports about your purpose to help just in time. It helps as they never saw your faces so that's a good sign."

Going over the paper reports and writing them down Makarov smirks widely replying to the both of us, "But otherwise seems like the Magic Council took in first witness accounts that we were the ones that got attacked first. At the very least we won't have much of an issue of them interviewing you since they need to collect the remaining Twilight Lord still at sea. Bisca and Alzack are keeping their mouths shut about this matter."

Mavis smiles and hugs Makarov into her buxom affectionately like a loving mother thanking him for understanding, "Oh! I knew you would understand my little fairy! We promise to return once our job is done but can you make sure to tell the rest of the guild members to keep it quiet, for now?"

Letting go of Makarov he blushed happily with a perverted grin on his face dancing around, "Ye-esh Mam!"

Urge to murder this gremlin rising…

I should've aborted his sorry ass for having a perverted grin on my wife.

But sighing in relief it seems like Makarov understood the situation we needed to take care of as soon as possible he coughs getting our attention, "Ah… still though to think that the day you two vanished leaving Precht in charge of being the second master of Fairy Tail. It's reassuring, to say the least. Now I have to go explain the situation about Twilight Lord attacking us and merely pleading in self-defense."

Yeah.

Although…

My eyes dart towards the many people quieting down listening trying to listen but failing at our conversation with a grin on my face because of my Enchants, "Yeah… that's going to be hard to explain to THEM now, wouldn't it? The others are bound to get curious you know."

Makarov merely grins at my response before replying in a cheerful tone already coming up with a plan, "Yup! That sounds like your problem to me. Then again, I think most of my children would want to know the people who created this Guild after all. It's not every day that they meet living legends. But for your identity's sake, I would introduce you as new members of Fairy Tail just to be on the safe side."

Yup.

His definitely a Yuri kid alright.

Well…

Blushing a bit embarrassed being called a legend is a bit much.

*Bam*

Jabbing me on my side Mavis cheerfully smiles at this before mentioning of introducing us to the rest of the guild, "Come on Rou! They're like family to us already! They were bound to ask new questions about the newbies or you for that matter."

I suppose that makes sense considering they want to ask the man that one shot a guild that was kicking their ass. I need to kick a certain child's ass black and blue about teaching him some manners to treat a lady with respect.

Sigh…

Time to face the music.

Standing up me and Mavis both exit the Guild Master office with us reaching the main guild hall everyone froze up seeing us with whispers about us returning.

"Hey is that…"

"Isn't that the guy that one shot a Guild?"

"Yeah from what Bisca said that's the newbie but who's the other guy?"

"Hey doesn't he look familiar though…"

"Yeah, he seems… oh shit those two are identical to the founders!"

"I mean I knew from what Master Makarov says they were strong but to turn the tides…"

"Damn, this is so MANLY meeting legends!"

"That can't be right maybe possible double gangers that look alike them?"

"Yeah… that could be right?"

"We could be meeting their decedents though?"

"Of course! It makes logical sense!!"

"Yeah, I want to fight that guy because I feel Fired Up!"

"Knock off lizard for brains!"

"SHUT IT YOU TWO!"

"AYE!! ERZA!!!"

Man, they sure are a talkative bunch if they are this loud talking to each other this calmly just as Makarov began to get front and center explaining to them, "SILENCE!! Ahem! As you may have come out of the Guild War intact along with not getting much trouble thanks to the assistance of our newest members of the family! But this young man here helped change the course of the Guild War! I came to finalize these people to join our family!"

Everyone took in their breaths as Mavis makes a small gentle bow towards the current members of Fairy Tail with a smile on her face, "To begin with the introductions I'm Mavis Vermillion. It's an honor to meet everyone, here! I hope we grow this strong and friendly to one another in the near future!"

Taking in Mavis's example coming along next to her in stride as I did a small bow as well as introducing myself, "Like Mavis, I'm Rou Ake. A Wizard and Alchemist by trade. A real honor to meet and work with all of you here."

Some of their eyes widen a bit hearing our introduction as they look towards a small portrait of the founders I see myself in my younger form along with Mavis at a time with Warrod, Precht, and Yuri.

That, there was speculation once they saw the both of us look almost identical to our past as some murmurs were spreading out.

Heh.

Guess there are some things in the past that surprise us in the future.

"EEEEHHHHH!!!"

I figured that was their reaction as soon this happened majority of them began to yell wanting questions from us if we were related to the co-founders having similar names.

We were going to talk but then immediately with one being the most direct coming challenge from Natsu cried out the loudest, "HEY! YOUR STRONG COME HERE AND FIGHT ME!!"

I merely laughed at the challenge he just said with Mavis tilting her gaze at me if I should accept or not, "You are going take the first challenge?"

Smirking I instead went towards the Fire Dragon Slayer accepting with a shrug agreeing, "Sure. I could use a simple match to see this Salamander in action."

Natsu merely grinned happily having his Magic Power activated as people began to give us space seeing his reaction, "Now that's more like it! I'm feeling all fired up!"

Iconic catchphrase ever.

*Fffffzzzzz*

The fire ignited from his hands seeing it engulf his fist in flames and then proceeds to go in for the punches at me that will surely, cause, aside from sheer blunt damage, damage from the flames as well.

All I did was point my finger at him casting mine.

"Fire Dragon's Iron Fist –"

"Dispel."

And that fire was gone the instant I used Dispel one of the most underutilized Magic Spells that cancels out another Magic Caster Spell making Natsu short circuit seeing his Magic turned off immediately already going towards me.

"Fairy Alchemy: Ice Hammer."

*Zzzzz*

Purple sparks of Alchemic Energy appeared in my hands condensing the water and reconstructing it with me in motion turning around my hands soon held a giant hammer twirling it around and slamming the Fire Dragon Slayer caught surprised sending him flying.

*BAM*

"AH! Damn it!"

Getting launched out he wasn't for one to quit as he began to unleash the next attack while being struck in mid-air.

Upon being launched I see him start to inhale, gathering fire in his mouth, and then releasing fire in my direction, creating a large, exploding torrent of fire that damages and burns the opponent down.

but I'm not exactly a normal opponent.

Taking out one of my Magic Cards I tossed it into the air intending to capture his Magic Attack for later.

*Woosh*

"Fire Dragon's Roar!!"

"Card Magic: Card Conversion."

*Shiii*

Activating my blank card began to shine bright absorbing the attack and making it my own card.

One of my personal favorites of Magic to use as I see Cana a fellow Magic Card user surprise seeing how I could use this Magic effectively to turn around my situation.

Card Conversion is a Magic Card Spell.

The user uses cards to trap people inside pocket dimensions, effectively turning them into cards. However, despite being trapped inside the cards, the figures inside can still interact with those on the outside to a limited extent.

The person trapped in the card can also be set free if the card's owner chooses to release them. On the other hand, this spell will not work on people with strong hostility thus requiring the user to knock them out first before being able to trap them.

Most would only use this spell on the person but what about the attack themselves though?

The attack by its definition is nothing more than the energy that could be converted into any attack card or supportive cards in my own arsenal.

Something I enjoy taking my enemy by surprise.

Like how Natsu looked dumbfounded seeing me capture his attack in my deck of cards feeling I have enough playing around with him, "Sorry but I think it's time I end this. Although you did good enough kid. Enchant: Disappear."

*BOOM*

Launching the basic Enchant Disappear to defeat Natsu but not enough to heavily damage him as he was caught and fell down with some light bruises.

His certainly durable that's for sure.

*Thud*

"Ow!"

He rubs his head before standing up grinning happily at this with his Happy by his side, "Man your strong! I want another rematch!"

*Smack*

Before he could, however, Erza then reprimanded him immediately causing him to studder in fear of her, "Natsu that's enough! We don't need the guild damaged again do I make myself clear!"

"Aye!! Erza!!"

I mentally laugh at their interaction being so different from what I recall from the show as I turned around adjusting my shirt to the rest of the members, "Now then… any more questions or requests anyone?"

Like that, they began to ask me lots of questions which I took my time answering.

It's good to be back.
