~Third POV~

Precht seeing this glared down at the barkeep for an attempted attack by his compatriots on them with his voice matching his glare, "What is the meaning of this?"

"Eeee!"

The Barkeep panics as he gets everyone else to attack rallying to his cry, "Yer only facin' one guy and one brat! Take them down!"

Seeing this Rou just smiles seeing an excuse to defend himself as most of the men come after him with one of the shady ones replying, "Come one guys' hes one brat wizard or not we can deal one kid!!"

Rou merely had his hand on the constructed stone as he activated his alchemy with sparks of alchemic energy surging through changing the sudden stone wall.

*Zzzz*

Reconstructing the stone wall as the materials are all deconstructed and swirled to reconstruct a new form with Rou already in rotation as the stone took on a new form of a steel hammer striking the group of men after him.

*Woosh*

*BAM*

"And homerun!!"

Yelling out of striking a group of people with his hammer thanks to Edward's memory along with the knowledge of Lance, Hammer, and Sword Transmutations are the few weapons he could create on hand by heart.

Twirling his hammer weapon around easily with a smirk on his face making the adults take a step back as he talked to them, "Oh come on. Don't tell me you're scared of little old me all of a sudden now?"

The taunting smirk on Rou's face brought the remaining minions to try and attack from the side next.

"Why you!"

*Clank*

*Zwoon*

*Whud*

"Gah!!!"

"Guh!"

"Vrgh!"

Before the group of men could continue to attack Precht intervene using his bladed chain coming out of his wrist slamming the people going after Rou and slamming those caught by his weapon to each other.

Getting the majority of large groups out of the way Precht raised his eyebrow at Rou with a questioning look, "You didn't say you were a wizard."

*BAM*

Rotating in a semi-circle with his hammer slamming into any poor guy at the wrong place and the wrong time replied with a shrug lifting his weapon, "I didn't. And this isn't magic merely alchemy."

"Wow…"

Mavis was in awe seeing how Precht and Rou quickly dealt with the enemies with the barkeep looking in fear of the two, "Yer supposed to just be a treasure hunter. The kid is a –"

*Zzzz*

*Woosh*

*Thud*

Turning his hammer into a lance throwing it where the barkeep was about to pull a rope with an innocent smile on his face speaking to him, "Now then would you please be kind enough to explain what kind of information you have about Blue Skull? Seeing that you are part of them yourself?"

Revealing his shirt soon showed the Blue Skull emblem on his chest with the barkeep keeping his mouth shut replying in defiance, "Tch. As if I would say anything to a group like you! You get nothing out of me ye' hear!"

Seeing this Rou sighs at this giving the man a pitying expression as his head turns towards Mavis with a nod, "Sigh… I was really trying to be nice here you know. Mavis your time to shine."

She smiled cheerfully accepting with a nod with Precht confused as Rou just pointed at her with a smirk whispering to him, "For your information, Mavis here can use magic. And she can be quite imaginative with it."

Precht eyes widen at that surprised looking at Mavis as she opens her arms as the magic power around her began to manifest, "I summon thee the guard dog to descend the stairway to heaven!!! Sirius!"

"Grrrr…"

In a puff of smoke, everyone who regained consciousness soon saw Mavis raises her arms above her head and creates an illusion of a humongous wolf.

The wolf's frightening face and forelegs appear to be covered in a dark flame pattern, and its paws sprout saplings similar to the ones seen on Tenrou Island.

Mavis then innocently explains herself to the barkeep before her expression changes coldly at the man sweating a storm in front of the Heavenly Wolf, "I can use magic, too, you know. I've been practicing for 7 whole years. Naturally, I can use a little bit of it… Now, would you please tell me where the main base of Blue Skull is? If you'd be so kind."

The barkeep pales seeing the massive beast in front of him and caves in immediately, "Yes, ma'am…"

Like that, he explains everything he knows about Blue Skull much to the group's joy…

"An illusion?!!"

Walking down the port of hargeon the three of them began to discuss what happened when Precht discussed what Magic Mavis uses to be surprised it was Illusion Magic her nodding as he continues, "Then that huge dog was just a bluff?!!"

She nods happily with Precht with a reply, "Yup. That's my magic."

Precht was left speechless with Mavis pointed at Rou explaining to Precht about him being a Mage as well, "And Rou is also a wizard with his Magic. Although he prefers to use his Alchemy in combat since his magic isn't suited for combat."

Precht looks surprised as his gazes go towards Rou getting some food with a smile as he sighs at this recalling the fight, "Alchemy huh? And you two were only self-taught about that in those 7 years on your island? Truly impressive for someone so young."

Mavis nods as she mentions her plans of combating the Blue Skull guild with a determined glint in her eyes, "Yup. But if we combine my magic, Rou's Alchemy, and with your blades… I'm sure we can get back the Tenrou Jade from Blue Skull."

Pointing her finger into the air like a Shonen protagonist with inspiring optimism with her words talking to Precht, "And now we know where the enemy is!! So, we strike out to the western town of Magnolia!"

Almost anime falling she manages to catch herself up so she doesn't fall replying, "We gotta hurry and tell everybody else!"

Precht sighs at this and gives her a warning walking behind her as Rou returns shortly paying for the snacks, "If you run like that, you'll trip and fall."

As they walked towards their destination they all managed to pass by a black-haired man with a black coat Rou thought to himself acting normally as they passed by the Black Wizard…

Once they were out of reach Rou began to sweat a bit playing it off to the others of being hot here as his real thoughts in the matter to himself, 'Zeref… that was really him in the flesh huh… such a terrifying Magic Power he has…. I wonder what Magic spells I should ask for him when the time comes…'

While he thought to himself Mavis noticed immediately her friend's actions thinking to herself confused, 'Huh? Never noticed Rou arguing about the heat before. Plus, we live in a summer climate island I wonder what's the real reason… is he worried about something?'

Mavis decided to keep her thoughts to herself seeing Rou worrying for the time being as she was excited to go on this adventure making new friends along the way.

As the group passes by the Black Mage unaware Zeref felt something amiss blinking a bit before he thinks to himself, 'What was that?'

Zeref took a brief glance to turn to see no one around behind him before shaking his head and getting his head cleared up, 'No… it was merely a part of my mind playing tricks again. I thought I sensed someone using Black Arts on the boy but…'

Shaking his head off those thoughts away Zeref merely walked away confused…

Zeref thought he sensed someone was using a long-lost ancient spell Living Magic before he shook his idea of the notion.

Living Magic is a type of Magic that allows the user to bring life to their creations. They can create different creatures from inanimate objects.

Occasionally, the user has to perform different techniques or preparations in order to cast this Magic spell. Multiple creatures can be created simultaneously, and the caster can give their creations distinct appearances, personalities, and abilities.

Some given abilities can be Magic itself. In most cases, the caster is able to control their creations, though sometimes, if the Magic is used too long, the situation reverses. If the user dies, all of their creations will cease to exist.

As someone like himself he can recognize someone tampering with someone's body as he created his demons before so recognizing body changes or modifications was easy for him to identify.

But Zeref was unaware at the time was someone in the group he passed by using the Black Arts Living Magic bypassing the natural means of manipulating life without using Magic to fuel it and ignoring upsetting the God of Life and Death Ankhseram due to another form of energy being used causing him to be confused as he thought he sensed Black Magic arts on the boy...

Just as Mavis, Rou, and Precht group were passing by the area to the inn for the night they managed to see someone that took Rou's interest right away as they are in their way by the person and creature.

A slender young woman of average height with amber-colored eyes. She has moderately brown hair which extends down her back and is normally tied up at the back while her forehead is framed by several bangs.

Her outfit is reminiscent of the traditional Indian sari designed with a primarily scarlet color scheme while framed around the side with a yellow, white, and orange pattern-like design and a white choli worn underneath. Her body is adorned with jewelry such as golden bangles worn around the wrists of both her arms, gold brassards worn on the middle of both her upper arms as well as gold anklets worn above her ankles, and brown sandals.

And the creature has a large head with a small tuft on top, a small beak, and round eyes, as well as small wings, feet, and a tail. The creature is primarily yellow with a turquoise shirt.

As they come closer those two Rou's mind instantly recognized them immediately in his head as he has another objective to do, 'Isn't that… Momon and Éclair from that Fairy Tail movie with them… having the immortal… phoenix tears…'

Instantly it seems like Rou had another objective to do remembering everything about the movie thanks to his constant reminders of his Archive Magic internally thinking, 'The Phoenix Stone… looks like I'm going to need that for me to archive immortality just as a safety precaution of course.'

With those thoughts in his head, he acted right away.

"Wah!"

"Ah!"

Suddenly 'tripping' over Éclair as they bump into each other Rou managed to get half of the Phoenix Stone from her covering in his hand as he uses his alchemy in the other creating a fake at that moment.

Éclair looks at the ground immediately searching for her Phoenix Stone as her eyes widen, "Ah! Where is it? Where is –"

Picking himself up pocketing away the real Phoenix Stone and revealing the fake one he showed it Éclair apologized, "I'm sorry miss this dropped off –"

Snatching it away she sneered at Rou leaving immediately with Mavis pouting at the lady, "What was that lady's problem? It was a complete accident?"

Rou just shrugs at this with Precht sighing at Rou's antics hurrying them up, "Sigh… come on. We have to meet up with the rest."

The two nodded as they left with Rou feeling especially happy internally keeping the Phoenix Stone in safe keeping…
