~Rou POV~
Standing on the side seeing that Mavis is dominating the game of deception and intuition she's just as scary smart as she can be.
In a game of wits, I lose.
In a game of strength, I win.
Mavis has been more of a real definition of a Mage being a weak body but a scary mind if she knows what's she doing.
And she's beating the living shit out of this game against Yuri like the same as the manga or anime when she first said the words 'Whether you go first or second… I'll win on the first play' with her eyes matching her determined knowing look.
That's when you know you are fucked.
Hahaha….
After a while, Mavis finally asked Yuri the question that is going to screw him over in this game now, "You have blinked 57 times since this competition started."
"What?"
Yup.
But it's not like Yuri knows that as I counted actually 59 then again Mavis is the smarter one in these kinds of games so she might be right.
Yuri is looking to have some issues but not my place to interfere seeing him struggle like a worm a bit before he finally admits defeat with Mavis showing her peace sign, "No…! If I try to confirm something, I don't know is true, it'll come out as a lie!!! Which means… No! Can it really be that giving either answer will make me lose?! I never knew this strategy was possible!! Nnngg!!"
Seeing the magic cube is over I began to look over at her as she cries her eyes out since she didn't blink the whole time rubbing them, "My eyes feel like they're about to explode!"
Sighing at my little troublemaker I don't know how I can live with her being reckless but…
She wouldn't be the girl I knew if she didn't do something reckless like that in a simple game like this.

Still, my eyes wander towards the two waiting for Yuri to be done as I tried to talk to the two looking over, "So… you're that guy's friends?"
The one with messy hair I think Warrod looked at me then at his friends and nodded with Precht talking to Yuri, "Yuri, what are you doing playing around in a place like this."
Warrod took a look over to the library impressed by it noticing his eyes wandering around, "Phew…! Wow! This is one fine library!"
Yuri looked over to his friends in alarm as he responded to their names, "Warrod! Precht!"
Precht then crosses his arms as he closes his eyes responding back to his friend, "This island got nothing. We're leaving."
The two began to bicker as I shrug and responded to the duo about the reason why they couldn't find the Tenrou Jade, "Let me guess? Because someone beat yah to the punch?"
The two had their eyes raised as Mavis looked at me shocked as she yelled out, "Wait… what do you mean our holy item was stolen!!"
Blinking a bit I was pretty sure I told her this before as I responded a bit confused, "I mean I'm pretty sure I told you this before? Did you forget? I was positive that I told you?"
She paused a bit before she replied it was during that one time I was poisoned during training – ah…
Ok now that made much more sense, I was talking about random things at the time trying out the mushrooms and testing out Recovery Breathing.
It wasn't what I expected…
And I think I may have been high…
Or possibly food poisoning at the very least…
Mavis wants proof to know when the Treasure Hunter Trio showed where it was along with Yuri wants to see where the last known location of our supposed Tenrou Jade has stolen away from us.

It took us no more than a few minutes to see an ancient stone circle cracked with the middle supposed to contain the Tenrou Jade gone.
Precht sighs at this speaking out what needs to be done after Mavis and Yuri witness the artifact is gone, "Sigh… so we're heading back to the continent."
Warrod then agrees to the idea of opening his arms trying to persuade Yuri to join them, "Let's try to gather more info. The Jade is too valuable to just give up on."
While I may not care much about the Tenrou Jade treasure Mavis does because it's the only thing signaling what was once ours on our island.
Knowing that it was really stolen must have made her responsible for it…
No wait…
Shaking my head she's worried, about it only because Yuri won't show her to any fairies…
Yeah, that would be something she would do.
Mavis then gives the group who could take it making them the most likely of culprits as she steps forward to the holding place of the Tenrou Jade, "I… have an idea of who might have stolen the Tenrou Jade."
Precht listening looked surprised as I heard him muttering, "What was that?"
Putting in my own voice on the matter I replied what Mavis meant explaining what happened a few years back with bitter resentment in my tone, "A Wizard Guild War. A Guild between our resident Red Lizard fighting against Blue Skull happened here 7 years ago leaving the victor of the Guild War to be Blue Skull. They destroyed everyone here leaving only us as the sole survivors and if likely they are the ones that stole the Tenrou Jade."
Precht clicked his tongue at the news seeing how our words were genuine as he replied to his collogues about it, "A Wizard's Guild? Then I suppose we must go then."
Warrod nods his head in agreement expressing his concerns over the matter, "That could be trouble."
At this Mavis points out she could be a valuable ally by trying to negotiate with 3 of them to let us join, "I've been studying battle methods against Wizards for 7 years. I could be of assistance to you along with Rou for support. Please take us with you!!"
Mavis continues to explain further to the 3 of them how precious it was for us to get the Tenrou Jade back, "The Tenrou Jade is a symbol of the island. The gem has been protected by us islanders for generations. Please! I'd like to take it back the island's treasure with my own two hands!"
Yuri once again tries to point out who they were once Mavis tried to team up with the Treasure Hunters, "We're Treasure Hunters. Once we get our hands on the Tenrou Jade, we're not giving it back to you!"
True but that won't stay true for long though.
Mavis points out we are in an alliance of sorts with our goals being the same causing Yuri to step back recalling their deal, "When that time comes, then you and I can play again. But until that moment, our goals are the same. Besides, you did promise me to introduce me to a fairy. Have you forgotten?"
He flinches back as I made my comment heard of a man must be able to keep his promise with a smirk, "Yeah. I hope you can hold out your end of the deal Yuri."
He only sighed at this knowing what he got himself into me smirking in his dismay but really glad he came to play with Mavis since this is the most fun, she had since in a very long time.
But like that, it was an actual start visiting the outside world after staying on this island for the whole time.
The only reason I waited around was for this moment as I never intended to leave until these 3 show up from my knowledge that I refresh about this world thanks to my Archive Magic every day when I managed to create it from scratch.
Frankly, it was something that I was so used to back in my old world that it felt natural it was just somehow turning magic into data was difficult but with Mavis's help, it was possible to create this type of Magic.
And I haven't been only training on my Magic but also my body and skills in weaponry at the time living here for the last 7 years of my life.
I have to admit those were some of my best times to train at my pace and enjoy myself having fun in between relaxing or studying Magic with Mavis even restoring the former Red Lizard Guild in the process.
Those lines after 7 years I know for certain I changed along the lines.
My original views where I admit I was selfish at first only me thinking like any other reincarnator wanting girls, fame, power, change the course of the history of this world, or pure survival but sometimes being humbled and mainly having a normal life can change that perspective really.
Living in this world I thought everything was fantasy and to a degree, I still think that, but the years isolated on Tenrou Island along with Mavis reminding me that not everything was a game along with responsibilities made me rethink those ideas of what was really important in this life I have.
While I regret not living my first life full of life and resentment of failing my family in this one though I have actual power and no worries of laws of the previous world to truly stop me from doing so and following what I want.
It's a refreshing feeling honestly.
And now I get to step out into the big open world after finally waiting these so many years that it's kind of scary leaving the place I once thought of as home to the grand open world along with many things to do.
And I do mean many because of how much things go around the background here and that being I need to be powerful enough, to begin with, to handle Acnologia and destroy that Eclipse Gate from stopping the Dragons from destroying Humanity.
But I need to wait before the Dragon Slayers would come to the future first.
And the Dragon Gods I have to deal with in the 100 Year Quest I have to deal with in the future as I can't let them be alone by their own devices which fortunately enough in the future I plan to eat their powers for a big boost in Magic Power.
But that idea is in the far future for another time.
I'm not even sure if I'm in the first or second timeline so I have things to do to protect this world from the unknown danger but that requires a large amount of strength, knowledge, and magic power to pull it off.
For now, though I shall keep sharpening my fangs when the time is right to strike down my enemies when the time is right.
Till then I have to do everything in my power to stop Mavis from performing that Law spell because if I don't, she suffers a fate worse than death…
I just have to…
I have to make sure she doesn't get cursed which would ultimately lead to her not creating Fairy Law but I would rather have that than her suffer trying to kill herself.
I just hope my appearance can change that fate.
