It's been a year and a half since John rented his apartment out, the next day the paper was posted, and Cana arrived at his front door with her things saying she want to rent one of the rooms.

Apparently, she learned this from her big sisters in Fairy Hills and she went to eat with him every now and then.

A lot has happened during these past 1 and a half years, in terms of money, he's rich as fuck now. He doesn't even care about the price tag when he bought things nowadays.

That just shows how rich he is now.

He has apartments, restaurants, and magic shops in Magnolia, Hargeon, Onibus, Shirotsume, Oshibana, and clover town.

He now makes more money than spending them, with his best-selling item being Azure Lotus which keeps reeling him money.

Other than that he has replaced the materials for his puppets with Golden Bamboo that can be used to create Mid A-Rank puppets, and he can now control up to 75 puppets in total.

His current list of puppets is still the same as a year and a half ago, but this time with an addition of 25 Night Disciples.

He unlocked them when he filmed Sebastian an Attack On Titan film just much smaller titans, with the largest being 20 Meters tall and made of ordinary wood.

Night Disciples are the lowest rank puppets inside the Midnight Masquerade, with each puppet being Mid-C-rank in a damaged state, with these group of puppets, once he formed an array with them.

Darkness will descend in a 1 sq km area, where only those he allowed can see and anyone else will be as if it was night.

Any enemy will know that they are facing him as darkness wrap their whole surrounding, followed by an eerie whistle that sends a shiver down one's spine. [A/N the whistle will be, Death's Whistle in Puss In Boots.]

Due to this with his rise into the ranks of a Mid-B-rank mage, he was given a cool nickname based on the way he fight. [A/N: Suggest in the comments what nickname you guys want the MC to have, it must have the word general in it.]

"When the night descends with a murder of Ravens flocking, As the whistle of Death blows, the only thing you can do is pray for your dear lord."

This a well-known saying since John started using the night Disciples in his journey, along with the array of 34 lynx puppets and one tiger puppet with all of them being Low B-rank in strength.

He already has the achievement of hunting a group of 100 members of a small dark guild to death, which was his greatest achievement that shot him to be famous.

When he returned home from that fight in tattered clothing, the whole guild celebrated in joy and partied for the whole day.

With Laxus even nodding with approval for his strength.

Cana on the other hand has risen to become a Low B-rank mage, with her gradually becoming proficient with the use of Crush magic.

She has taken one more step closer to becoming a humanoid female dragon, with the strength of her body.

John doesn't even want to be hugged by her anymore because every time that happens, his bone will emit a creaking sound.

But Cana's enemies are even more unfortunate with them being divided into cubes in one punch or being shattered into dust with one punch.

That's why John has been very careful when he's with Cana lest he got punched into oblivion and beyond.

But every now and then she comes along to do quests with him, with a tacit understanding of not taking any quests when near important events.

Not taking quests when it's near the other's birthday, Christmas, New Year, etc.

Another surprise happened a week and a half ago, when he and Cana were out doing missions, the Blizzardvern egg has hatched.

When they were resting, Sebastian popped out of the space and said that the Blizzardvern egg was about to hatch and that he should be the first person it sees to have it imprinted on him.

So a cute baby Blizzardvern was hatched, with it having more draconic features when he asked Sebastian.

Sebastian said that the Blizzardvern was incubated in a room full of Dragon statues that emit endless Dragon's might day and night.

Apart from being nurtured by Dragon's might, it was also bathed in a special potion containing the favorite herb of blizzardvern and a bit of Dragon's magic power.

It's no exaggeration that this Blizzardvern is born with a Diamond spoon in its mouth just based on the condition it had before it was born. [A/N: Suggest a name for this little one.]
