Magnolia's Internet Cafe

You know what they say about earthquakes, they're similar to most relationships.
Last only for a few seconds and leaves you thinking about what the fuck just happened.
That same confusion was what Nixon had experienced not too long ago before he found himself sitting here in this internet cafe in the middle of the streets of a town that looked like it came right of a damn fantasy book. Though, that wasn't entirely incorrect.
He, a kid no older than twelve, reborn into a world of magic. Honestly, he would've been more surprised by the existence of magic if it weren't for the fact that he knew that he had been literally reincarnated. Compared to that, learning of the existence of magic was pretty lack lustre.
In any case, to summarise everything as quickly as possible. He had been reincarnated after meeting his 'unfortunate' end at the hands of an earthquake that could almost rival that of your mother falling off the bed, so at least a magnitude nine or more. It was after that, that he learnt that he had become the new owner of an internet cafe system.
Yeah, that was pretty much it.
At the present time, Nixon had taken the time to explore his new residence here in the town, which he had come to learn was called Magnolia or some shit. There wasn't too much to see, though the most eye-catching things were certainly the multiple gaming computers with full-dive visors connected to them.
Before this continues though, a quickly little description of our MC.
As stated before, he was a kid no older than twelve, with a slim build with a slightly pale complexion, although not unhealthily pale. He had smooth straight raven black hair that contrasted well with his skin, along with a pair of coal-black eyes that were slightly sharpened at the edges.
His clothing was nothing special, after all, they were the same clothes he wore whenever he would go out in public. Just a simple pair of black running shoes, black shorts that reached only half-way down his things, and a simple white t-shirt that stuck rather well to his slim physique.
"Aside from the main cafe area with the computers, I also have my own bedroom, bathroom, and pretty much everything else that makes a house. Not too bad." Nixon muttered to himself as he walked back down the stairs into the main shop area. "Can't really compare to my old house, but it's very relaxing in a way..."
With a swipe of his hand, a holographic screen projected in front of him.

This was the system he was given, and it was certainly a strange one, but he wasn't going to complain. A system was a system, so it must be good in its own right. This was [proven true when he had tapped onto the 'Abilities' section a few moments ago when he first came to this world.
There wasn't much in it, just one ability that he had to his name.
This ability was called [Game Synchroniser].
To explain its effects as simply as possible, it allowed him to in a sense take on the powers and equipment belonging to his player character that he develops in the games he'll eventually provide here in this store. Nixon had immediately seen the great potential this ability had, it was only a matter of what games he'd end up getting.

A very simple interface.
Aside from the last two sections, Nixon didn't really care too much about the first two, at least not for right now. From the looks of it as well, he was able to draw one single game. After all, what was an internet cafe without some kind of entertainment?

Before he could even properly process the information, he felt a surge of power rushing into his body at an alarming rate. It felt as if his body was taking in violent stream of wind, a wind that didn't seem to affect him physically at least.
Looking back at the notification, the most likely conclusion he could come up with was that this rush of power must be the natural magic energy in the atmosphere absorbing itself into him. After all, he could feel a strange foreign power overflowing inside of him.
"H-Hold on... is it supposed to be this strong?!"
Nixon was a bit worried when he noticed that there didn't seem to be an end to the rush of magic energy flowing into him. Thankfully, after a few more seconds, the rush seemed to come to an abrupt stop as his body stumbled a bit afterward.
"This feels incredible, but that was scary... I almost felt like I was going to explode." Looking at his hands, he noticed the countless strands of white and gold magic power flowing from every inch of his body. Narrowing his eyes, the energy seemed to cease and retreat back inside him. "Huh, that was easy... I wonder what magic I can learn though? Is that how it works here?"
While Nixon wasn't exactly that well-versed when it came to the fictional side of society, mainly due to his upbringing, he was at least knowledgeable enough to know that not all fictional worlds have the same system of magic power. One world could have its own magic system while another had its own that operated on different terms and laws.
"In any case, wondering about it right now isn't going to help. Let's see these other rewards..."
Opening up the menu, he quickly navigated to the inventory section.

"Oh, so Jewels are the currency of this world? I was wondering what the price board meant when it said Jewels, I was thinking actual gemstones..." Nixon muttered to himself, though he then shrugged. "Now let's see this reward bag. Come on, give me something good."

"Huh, looks like I got a pretty... good roll?" Nixon a bit unsure about his words. He didn't know anything about the two items labelled as 'Epic' to know if they were useful or not. "Whatever, I'll probably know once I check the details in the Inventory..."
Without wasting anytime, he quickly brought back up the Inventory menu. When he did, he saw all of the items he had gotten from the bag, and since most of it was not anything too important right now, he ignored them and focused only on the 'Epic' items.
"..."
"Wait, where the hell are they?" Cocking an eyebrow in confusion, Nixon read from top to bottom a few times, and no matter how hard he looked, he didn't see either of the 'Epic' items appearing on the list. "Are they abilities? Let's see..."

The first thing he looked at was the Game Board, mainly because it appeared first.
As he read the description, his eyes gradually widened. He was rather confused by whatever the hell it meant by the moon palace, but he didn't expect the meaning to be so literal. Simply, this thing allowed him to teleport himself and others to the damn moon for a limited time.
"When and why would I ever use this...?" A few dark lines appeared on Nixon's forehead as he thought this. Don't get him wrong, it was cool and all, but he couldn't think of a situation right now as to when he'd ever need to use this ability. "In any case, at least I have it as a... backup? I don't know."
Now, the Boosted Gear...
"This description literally tells me nothing... It's more just flavour text than it is actually informative for me, and it's telling me there's a dragon living inside this thing? Whether or not that's a good thing is the main question here..."
Holding his chin in thought, Nixon decided to just test it out.
"Now... how do I summon this thing?" Nixon frowned a bit in confusion as he looked back at the menu. "If I'm not mistaken, a lot of characters from manga and all that call out their abilities to use them, right? Should I do that? Meh, worth the shot. Boosted Gear..."

『Dragon Booster』
From the looks of things, it just took some PASSION!
As soon as he shouted the name of this so-called Sacred Gear, he heard this rather deep voice speak out from within him. Nixon widened his eyes when a green circular image appeared on the top of his left arm, though that circle soon extruded to become what looked to be a green circular jewel.
Soon after, the entirely of his lower left arm was covered by what looked to be a jagged red crimson gauntlet. From its back protruded two slightly curved yellow spikes, and his fingers had also changed to sharp reptilian claws.
"This... is the Boosted Gear?" Nixon held up his arm to inspect the weapon clearly. Turning it around to look at it from multiple angles, Nixon couldn't help but marvel at its design. Tapping against its body, it felt as if he was touching scales instead of metal. "What does this thing do though... I'll figure it out later, at least it should be decent if it's considered 'Epic'."
After a bit of a small struggle, Nixon got the Boosted Gear to disappear from his arm.
"Now that, that's out of the way, let's roll for a game!"
Nixon was hiding it well behind a calm facade, but this was the part he was most excited about, for two reasons actually. The first was that this was going to be the first ever actual video game he'd get to play, and the second is that it is also the first game that will be available here in the store.
Navigating himself back to the details menu, and without hesitation, he tapped onto the draw button on the list of games section.
