Chapter 63: The Truth of Lisanna's Death (1)

~Silva POV~

<Observe>.

Found it.

Stopping I found the screen showed up and managed to finally see, her home using Rongo Rongo as a reference to pinpoint her home.

Porlyusica's house is located in the East Forest of Boundary Forest near the outskirts of Magnolia Town.

At first glance, it is easy to confuse it with one of the trees growing in the East Forest, as the base for its construction is most likely one of the local trees. It is hollow in the middle, and there is a reasonably large room located inside.

Stocks have been pierced in a few areas, creating openings for windows and a massive, ornate door. The land around the house was left unchanged, apart from the creation of paths and a few stairs leading to the main entrance.

Using Spectator to look inside the interior of her home the trunk has been hollowed out, creating a fairly large room. It is decorated rather sparsely, without too much furniture. The little furniture there consists of a bed, a working desk, several stumps, and numerous crates and barrels. There is also a large collection of books placed on shelves which were dug into the trunk of the tree.

*Knock*

*Knock*

Knocking on the door I opened my voice to get her to reply since I saw her literally inside getting the broom, "Hello? Is this the Healing Mage and Medical Advisor of the Fairy Tail Guild? Mirajane sent me here because you wanted to meet me?"

*Creee*

Opening the door she showed a frown on her face as she scoffed at me holding one of my Small Salve jars getting straight to the point, "Boy are you the one Erza calls Silva Knight? Explain how you made this."

Ah…

Should've guessed that would've brought her attention towards me, to begin with.

Answering her honestly she began to furrow her brow at me with discontent clearly not liking people, "I didn't make it. Someone gave it to me a while ago and they don't come as often as I would like if you were wondering if I could procure more."

She scoffs at that.

*THUD*

And slammed the door on me…

Ain't she a ray of sunshine and rainbows?

Knowing better I was about to knock again till she got her broom and opened the door with a glare directed at me getting to the point, "What else you want? I got what I need to hear from you what else do you want with me?"

Getting straight to the point ignoring her attitude at me I requested for her a trade taking out my remaining Small Salve and one Small Mana Bottle from the random reward doing my daily quest getting her attention as I spoke my request to her, "I just wanted to ask if you have any Potion Making books that I could have and for in return I'll hand whatever potions I have remaining. 1 Small Salves and 1 Mana Bottle Potions for any Potion Crafting Books and ingredients needed."

She raised her eyebrow at me before she offered up another item to make her agree as she voiced out her request, "Hmm… I'll consider the deal if you add the Mt. Haokbe ice. I heard a while back from that old fool you collected some. I heard of legends of it that have healing properties and you being an Ice Mage can you change the ice into jars for me to use."

Huh?

Why didn't I think of that?

Agreeing to take out some of the Mt. Hakobe ice she looks at it giving a nod as I use <Ice Make> and <Cryokinesis> to change the form of the ice into small jars that made out to be 10 sets of them as she took them.

She briefly smiles before frowning back at me gesturing to come inside while holding her broom ready to beat me up if I mess up, "Good. Now come inside and take your picks I have extras in my personal journal. But touch anything else and you better pray you stayed in that hospital and regret returning brat…"

The threat is clear got it?

I merely nodded so as to not get into this woman's wrong side but out of curiosity's sake…

<Observe>.

[Porlyusica Lv.80 The Healing Mage

Description: Porlyusica is an elderly woman who lives in a treehouse located in the East Forest outside Magnolia Town. She is also the Edolas counterpart to the Sky Dragon Grandeeney, and, as such, shares the same name. She's a semi-active member of the Fairy Tail Guild and also serves as their Medicinal Advisor.]

Looking through some of the books I used my hand to collect which books I would need as I found a few to my liking with a grin on my face.

[Would you like to learn the skill 'Potion Creation'? [Accept: Y] or [Deny: N]?]

[Would you like to learn the skill 'Medical Master'? [Accept: Y] or [Deny: N]?]

Found two skill books along with other books containing Magical Beast body parts or items from them I could use as ingredients for potion-making around Fiore. I took those 3 off Porlyusica's hands.

Taking those 3 for now Porlyusica held her broom with a threatening aura surrounding her as she threatened me to leave, "Good… now you have 5 seconds to get out of here before I start beating the living carp out of you with my broom. 5 seconds pass listening to me fool!!"

What?!

*WOOSH*

Dodging from the crazy tsundere old hag I teleported away using Shambhala since I have a marker near her home, I got away like crazy from her.

Phew…

Sighing out in relief as I returned nearby the guild with the other members leaving out and others helping build the guild Mirajane had a smile on her talking to me, "So Silva how was the trip to Porlyusica? I bet it was an interesting experience!"

Looking around I don't see Levy or her group around as this was the perfect chance to ask Mirajane about the Memory's Day book to show her the truth, "Interesting is putting it mildly Mira… Damn… seems like Levy and her team aren't around. I was hoping I could request her to decipher a Magic Book with her help."

Tilting her head at me I took out the book in question as I just initiated a quest doing so in the process.

[Ding!]

[The quest is generated!]

Important Quest: The Truth of Lisanna's Death

Failure: Mirajane will suffer depression and possible death by a demon.

[Accept: Y] or [Deny: N]

I couldn't help but mentally twitch at that failure would pretty much be from Mirajane herself in her demon form more likely. I merely accepted the quest as I took out the Memory's Day book for her.

The rest of the guild members looked curious as to what was going on but minded their own business as she took the book with a bemused expression on her face, "Hmm… I don't think I've ever seen this Magic Book before. Maybe the – "

Oh, shit here we go!

*Shiii*

Before she could our eyes widened at the flash of green light as I grabbed onto Mira trying to avoid the magic occurring but I knew I needed to touch her so I could show her what happened…

Suddenly we both appeared to be in a town Mirajaned looked at me with some concern in her eyes as she asked directly, "Silva… what or where exactly did you find this Magic book from?"

I replied with genuine confusion about the book telling her I found it in the Guild Library in a surprise tone, "I found that book in the Guild Library before Phantom Lord attacked it. I was going to question this to Master but with him gone I decided to ask Levy. I thought you would know since you work in the guild a lot I didn't expect this though?"

She pinches the bridge of her nose takes in a deep breath and sighs before tightly holding on to the Memory's Day book responding, "Sigh… I'll be sure to give this once we figure out where we are first. Something like this shouldn't have been in the Guild Library to begin with. Now where exactly did –"

"Big sis wait up!"

That was when she froze on the spot as I followed Mirajane's eyes of widened shock with a 15-year-old Lisanna waving at us just as Mira was about to act her voice died out seeing other familiar figures dashing past us in Lisanna's direction.

Lisanna is shown as a young petite girl with short, white hair and blue eyes. Her hair was quite long, and she wore a short, dark red dress with a white collar and bow. Up on her arms above her elbows, she wore gold rings with a pale pink fabric flowing down from them. She wore tall, black socks along with brown shoes.

But the two people passing by us are what shook Mirajane the most.

What seems to be in her younger years, Mirajane at 17 years old wore a gothic-looking, overly revealing outfit matching the tomboyish personality she had at the time. She donned a dark, skimpy sleeveless shirt adorned with some light curved motifs on the chest, a pair of leather shorts held up by a studded belt with a demonic-looking buckle, and thigh-high boots with stiletto heels, each bearing a skull adorned by a flower on their upper front parts.

And the younger Elfman at age 16…

Well, his still the same wearing his usual outfit that resembles that worn by fictional, Japanese high-school hooligans: it consists of a dark blue jacket with purplish blue inners, held closed on the front by a line of large buttons, with similar buttons on the sleeves back and the zip located on the high collar left open.

But he does have a bowl cut and no scars so that's something.

The three of them began to converse about the S-Class quest I saw Mirajane looking a bit blank staring at them as I gestured to her to calmly go to the side to which she gave a silent nod moving away from the scene.

This was going to be a roller coaster as she began to get out of her stupor in disbelief at what she was seeing before coming to her own conclusion in a surprised tone, "Could it be that we have been sent back in time?!"

I looked shocked as I got the Memory's Day book giving her the possibility of returning back going through the pages, "In that case maybe the book would give us an answer. We need to return a way back to our time – "

Before I could continue Mirajane stopped me by holding her hand blocking the next page as she spoke in a hopeful tone, "Wait… can we stay a bit longer to observe…"

I merely nodded as I continued to read through the Memory's Day book actually deciphering it with my skill since I knew what's it capable of with my <Observe> skill.

I just need to show Mira what happened to Lisanna wasn't how she thought she saw and that's going to be a REALLY big pain in the ass to explain if I did in the present along with other lies I would have to make on the spot.

This method was a lot more convoluted but effective to make Mira see the truth on her own and possibly change it considering she cares a lot about her family.
