Chapter 45: Surprise Date…?!!

~Silva POV~

[July 15, X784]

I stand corrected.

Fortunately, though I did receive news that the four didn't get expelled much to my relief, an incident did occur with them changing bodies with worry along with the whole entire guild that got afflicted with the Changeling Spell.

Fuck…

I missed some golden opportunities here.

But what can I say I needed to learn how to fight against people stronger than me.

Taking my next course of action as I began to head towards Erza she seems to be eating her strawberry cake her eyes looked towards me greeting me with a wave, "Oh? Morning Silva. Are you here for the favor you asked of me?"

Nodding to her agreement I decided to ask more about herself so she can have a better understanding of what's she working with me here, "Of course. But before we begin today instead how about we get to know each other better first? And to probably relax after what happened with the Changeling thing."

She actively flinched at that muttering about becoming Happy being the worst thing to happen to her as I spoke to get her out of her funk, "We can probably go to a coffee or bakery shop since I haven't eaten yet, I'll pay if you aren't full already what you want. Still haven't gotten used to living in Magnolia Town yet if you know any good ones…"

She quickly got up agreeing with a starry-eyed expression on her face as I followed her with her speaking out, "I just know the right store in mind! And I do happen to be somewhat hungry Silva thanks for paying."

Somehow I get the distinct feeling she's going to make a dent in my Jewels soon enough. Still might as well get to know her better to get used to her as my mentor in swordsmanship or other weapons possibly.

Eh...

Whatever.

At the end of the day, I got to hang out with a cute girl that most men fear to ask or respect then that's a win in my book.

~Third POV~

The two left the guild as the entirety of the guild was dead silent with the men's eyes widening and the girls in disbelief of what just occurred to them.

Mirajane was equally as surprised by this as a tall and slim tanned-skinned young woman with an ample bust. She has mid-back-length brown hair with varying shades of color, having been seen as bright brown, black, and, ultimately, plain brown. Two shoulder-length strands of hair frame her face, with the left one starting from a prominent, high fringe.

This woman is Cana Alberona she froze at the sight of a miracle or curse, she witnessed having taken a barrel full of booze and processing what she saw before speaking out, "D-Did I just witness Erza get asked out in front of me? Am I too drunk today?"

Taking a cautious look at her barrel then back to the scene wondering if she was having one of her episodes as Mirajane broke the silence, "Yup! It seems like the newbie asked her out on a favor it seems! Quite the bold for the young man if you ask me. Sooo…. Want another barrel Cana?"

Once her words echoed throughout the guild hall murmurs were beginning to spread rumors as well of what was going on as Cana looked at the barrel full of ale before slowly pushing it away, "I'm definitely too drunk for this today. Think I'll call it quits for today and process properly what the hell I just saw…"

Cana took her cue to leave as Mirajane tilted her head as the guild members returned to their antics waiting in anticipation of what was going to happen next as well as making bets to see if Erza would dump him being the majority while the minority hook up.

The majority was the whole male population of the guild while the minority was the female members and kids within the guild.

Otherwise, it's a normal day at the Fairy Tail guild.

Returning back to the two with Erza leading the direction to her favorite bakery shop as they start making conversation with Silva to begin first, "Say how good are you in your Requip Magic? And do you only know that Magic?"

Listening as she leads the way she replied with a shrug of her shoulders at the question from him, "Requip is a Magic I'm most skilled with. Although I do have a specialty with Sword Magic and Telekinesis."

Silva smiled at that commenting on the potential use of the 3 Magic combination, "Sounds pretty powerful. A very good set of Magic combinations to play by with lots of potential."

Hearing that Erza's interest grew in what he meant since most people wouldn't have seen them as powerful with the most potential as it wasn't flashy or powerful since they relied on her equipment and skills.

Although curiosity did grow in her mind prompting her to ask what Silva meant in a curious tone of her voice, "You think so? Care to share your thoughts about my combination of Magic?"

Erza knew she might not hear anything new with her Magic Spells but hearing it from another perspective couldn't hurt the ideas of another if it meant improvement. She didn't become an S-Class Wizard merely for her strength but also wisdom to learn needed for her job.

Replying to her question Silva spoke out the possibility of her Requip Magic and Telekinesis Spell causing her to think about his response, "I was thinking of more possibilities of Requip being used defensively or offensively with Telekinesis. But since you are a master of Requip Magic is it possible to store an attack from an enemy?"

That caused her to pause at the idea of using Requip in that manner as he continues to explain what he meant, "What I mean is since all Wizards use Requip for storage? I was wondering why not use it to store incoming attacks in their Pocket Dimensions. And another note when you store items does it require physical contact or magical contact to store items in your Requip space?"

Another idea she hadn't considered after giving some more thought she finally replied to Silva of the possibility, "Hmm… as a Requip Wizard I haven't heard of anyone using that Magic for those purposes before. Whenever I switched equipment, it's always my armor or my weapons in my hands but it's not impossible either. As for touching weapons with Magic, it's not impossible either so long as you make contact with it."

As she replied those words made Silva smile contently as he replied of another method to stop enemy wizards' weapons, "Awesome! Then that means if you say combine Telekinesis Spell with Requip couldn't you say take control of the enemy Wizard weapon and instantly teleport it into your Requip without the enemy realizing it as well as take away their means to fight?"

Erza was once again paused thinking of the possibility she heard of the usage of her Requip Magic and Telekinesis used in that manner to herself mentally surprised, 'If used that way then yes it would… I've always summoned my Heaven's Wheel Armor with my swords at the ready along with me using Telekinesis to control them but on the enemy instead. I haven't even considered the idea… much less use my Requip Magic for that matter in offensive or defensive in the way Silva put it.'

Then the two continue talking more with Silva discussing the limits of Erza Requip Magic of the possibilities the more the scarlet-haired wizard is coming to realize she hasn't pushed her Requip Magic far enough.

The more she listened the more surprised she felt by the possibilities of it working to disable enemy mages of their weapons as well as more potential use of defense using the Requip screen as a shield to store the attack or used as an attack.

But soon enough they finally arrived at the Magnolia Town Cake Shop they entered inside and order soon receiving their food items sitting down at a nearby table enjoying their food and talking more from earlier before.

Although Erza was more focused on her strawberry cake as Silva noticed as he merely went on to play along speaking gibberish before finally, Erza noticed him again as she spoke out trying to remember what they were talking about, "Uh… sorry I wasn't really paying attention. I was focused on the deliciousness of the Strawberry Cake slice?"

Silva merely laughed lightly replying to Erza he purposely spoke gibberish the last few minutes causing her face to turn red in embarrassment him noticing her ignoring him but playing along till she was focused again.

Erza quickly apologized much to Silva's amusement seeing the Knight of Fairy Tail act this way in front of him, "I apologize for ignoring you! I will make it up to you!"

At this Silva merely replied casually with a mischievous smirk spreading across his face in a happy tone being playful with her, "No problem, Erza-chan. Though if you insist on making up, we can maybe go out on another date. As long as you don't mind of course. Don't want to force you into something you don't want to participate in."

She froze at the words he has casually thrown at her with Erza taking the moment to rationalize in her thoughts about the last few minutes interacting, 'A… another date? This has been a date? It was just the two of them a man and woman eating together – Oh, my god this really was a date?!!'

Erza merely blushed a bit harder as her social interactions with people weren't the greatest, she had no experience to call upon other than bad relations with men commenting about her beauty but otherwise, none were normal to her being completely foreign territory to her of how to respond.

She's used to nobels or creeps leering at her body and knew when to demand or use force to make them back off. That was the norm for her, but placed in this situation being in a normal situation...

She was out of her element regarding how to respond in a normal situation mentally cursing her what her smut books MC's female members would do in this type of situation.

Seeing that Erza was bright red she calmed down before finally replying trying to return her casual tone, "Ahem! I suppose I wouldn't mind considering how this date went."

Silva gave a curt nod of understanding returning back to the next topic and getting Erza's attention right away, "Right. Back on topic then with your attention again… Telekinesis! In my opinion, is probably one of my personal favorites and most powerful Spells."

Erza listening to that merely tilted her head curiously at the mention and bit of surprise from Silva that telekinesis would be powerful as she probes further in a curious tone, "Why do you think that? Telekinesis is more or less a support spell? Powerful would be a bit much praise in my personal opinion."

Silva shook his head as he explained more of the capabilities of what Telekinesis could do given enough time and training, "Sure but then again most people would simply assume so. With Telekinesis, you can control and manipulate objects to the user's whim, but the question is how much could they perform given the chance? For example, can you control energy like fire or wind? And if you can you go a step further enhancing your own abilities at a whim. What if you ignite the Ethernano in the air to cause an explosion with a telekinetic blast?"

Listening to the possibilities surprised or excited was certainly in Erza's mind seeing the possibilities given provided give her time to think as Silva leaned back of his chair letting her speak up finally after digesting the information, "Interesting… you seem to be very educated Silva. So much so that you might have inspired me to work on my own Telekinesis Spell with some time along with my Requip."

Silva merely nodded with a genuine smile on his face before speaking again in an embarrassed tone seeing Erza's face leaning closer to his with his face going a bit red, "O-Oh really? Then I hope you do well in your work improving it. From what I know the most a person can truly master Telekinesis is taking the control of atoms to get the best results for Telekinesis."

Erza tilted her head confused by the term used questioning Silva about it more earning some interest in the unknown term, "Atoms? I apologize but I don't quite believe I'm familiar with the term before?"

Blinking Silva sheepishly rub the back of his head before replying at his blunder explaining what he meant and getting her attention, "Right… forgot most people don't know the term. Atoms you could refer to are the building blocks of life or reality really. They are very small particles naked to the human eye with everything completely made of atoms. Even then those atoms are made by even smaller particles."

After the explanation, Erza looked at Silva in a different light with how knowledgeable he was making her think about him, 'Fascinating! It seems like whoever taught Silva or if it was his own ideas is truly out of this world! I wonder if he had a noble backing to be this well-educated. With how much detail and explanation he placed in the conversation along with excitement in his voice I can tell he isn't lying but the possibilities…'

That was when he sighed as he shook his head coming back to reality with Erza listening in again hearing him out, "But I highly doubt will reach that masterful level feat. I mean it does require a crazy amount of control and power to back up building reality. Although bringing a meteor or lifting a mountain would deter most enemies anyway best goals to aim after in my opinion."

Erza gave a curt nod at that while building reality sounds like something that would require a lot of power the feats lifting a mountain or meteor sounds promising enough to achieve given enough time.

Time which made her excited to try out new tricks with both forgetting the purpose of their original intended training.

And yet it didn't bother the two with Erza listening to how to use her Telekinesis Magic in unique ways.
