2 Chapter 2: Life Situation

Chapter 2: Life Situation

~Silva POV~

But first if my [The Gamer] ability has everything like a game does then… how about checking the Help or settings menu if it has one.

Not like I have anything to lose here.

Thinking of my choice I began to word out one word to help get the right way to see my Status or I guess the Gamer Functions.

"Help."

[Ding!]

Hearing a dinging sound I saw a blue transparent screen appeared as I began to read the contents inside my head seeing the possibilities given to me.

Guess I was correct to assume such.

[Help:

-In order to bring up your status you merely need to say "Status" or think it to appear, but no one is able to see it unless through a Party System.

-By doing certain things multiple times, [The Gamer] ability will eventually register it as a skill, then it can be level up and possibly even evolve. Some Skills get cheaper the more you level up be on a look out for them.

-The Party System allows you to form a party with other members granting them Mini-Gamer powers only accessing to Level Ups and choices of increasing their stats. Or you could change it for them.

-Health points/HP- an attribute that determines your health of course and once that hits zero then that means you're dead and end to your story.

-Magic points/MP- It is the magical power that each individual has within themselves that can be used if it is unlocked it can be used for offense, defense, healing, senses, traveling, and protection.

-Strength/STR- this one determines physical strength but also increases the physical amount of damage the player can give to the target.

-Agility/AGI- raises various stats to ensure one's survival. This stat is used to boost coordination, reflexes, movement speed, and chances of evading attacks.

-Vitality/VIT- the ability to tolerate attacks without dying the more increase this stat the more health the player gains by its recovery rate.

-Intelligent/INT- increasing the chances of storing valuable information and solving complex problems that involves faster spell casting. The higher the level the more likely to develop skills easier and the faster MP will regenerate.

-Senses/SEN- the ability to perceive and detect using your six senses of hearing, smell, taste, touch, vision and sixth sense.

-Luck/LUCK- increase odds of winning the game, random encounters, rarity drops, and rarer rewards. It also helps determine a person's fate with more luck than others.

-Exp: The experience you gain by defeating a foe or kill them off. All exp gained is based on the Level of the Enemy.

-Level Up: When you level up you will feel immediately rejuvenated and per each level gain 5 bonus stat points to distribute. Even if you lose a limb when you level up you will immediately be recovered to full health in top shape with nearly everything restored.

-Skills: Skill List Window is a voice command that brings up a window with list of all the skills he has learned. When the skill icon is selected it shows all the current information of that skill.

-Loot: This sitting allows the user to have his loot automatically stored on their person or in their personal private location where upon killing/defeating the enemy is sent to the User. AUTO LOOT [ON]. Do you wish to turn on Auto Loot [Y/N]?

…]

There are few more reading down, but I got the best of what's happening to my ability but for now I turned off the loot settings since I have no inventory which sucks but Being X said we would meet in a town.

And I have better things to do.

So basically, on how much I learn or how many tough battles I go through basically?

Not a bad concept and idea. At the very least though I won't be worrying much about my situation too much.

Still… What that being said though was certainly interesting saying we would meet in a town was his own words?

I have so many questions on how it knew or rather I should be prepared for it?

I mean I would want to ask more but I guess I should focus down on my current problems first before going down that rabbit hole.

Then that means it's time for the grind set for every man with an ability like this to train my body for what's to come.

Still, I wonder what that being is though?

Guess I'll find out if I survive first.

Better get to work.

Although getting stronger would be more ideal as well…

[Ding!]

[The Quest is created.]

----

-Reward #3: Random Item Box

[Accept: Y] or [Deny: N]

----

Huh?

Blinking in confusion it seems like Being X have already set this up to begin with making sure I have some incentive to train for the points since any guess I made didn't increase my INT stats so far…

Meaning stat points would be vital right now and which ones to carefully invest in is what matters in the long run of this predicament.

Pausing at this it wasn't like I didn't have anything better to do and wasting energy as is would be bad enough although…

Turning around at the room ahead I see it's still the nighttime if the full moon is anything to go by with the dimly light up lights of the Light Lacrima is anything to go by…

Not like I have anything to do currently the best I could do in this situation is reserve energy along with getting strong in the process.

I admit my body isn't what one would call ideal considering I'm a bit over weight with little bit of fat and not like arguing is not going to solve my case.

Better see if those Stats points are worth it…

And I haven't had to do exercise but the bear minimum for years now I have to do this again?

Sigh…

Unless I want to be shanked or killed better to keep my bitching to a minimum unless I want to die by someone in this world. At the very least it will give me some time and understanding where exactly I landed in this world.

Lacrima was a dead giveaway for me but even then, I feel like it's something I should know about meaning its past knowledge in a sense but for the life of me can't figure out because it feels…

Old to me.

Perhaps doing that Daily Quest would jog my memory up on the matter right away.

////

"Huff…"

"Huff…"

"Huff…"

"Sigh…"

Breathing out a sigh from my state I decided to stop at the moment to have an exact feel for my body resting up seeing any changes to me. And despite me feeling tired my body still shows the signs of being tired, with the sweat as evidence is still being produced off my body.

Guess the skill <GAMER'S PATH> is quite literal when it says life as a game.

Interesting…

Status.

It's just as I thought…

Even with the amount of exercise I do my stats nor experience haven't increased in the slightest despite me working my ass off.

From the looks of things doing some minimum physical exercise seems to have no additional benefits so far so the only way I can gain more is by doing the daily quest to get stronger instead of gaining them gradually huh…

At least I know for sure I can get stronger by adding more in the future but for now though this is what I can amount to in getting stronger which is sad but what can I do about it.

And even more so I found out more of my predicament after I took my time to investigate the base of the abandoned home belonging to these factions calling themselves the Avatar and no, I figured out they do not relate to the Avatar the Last Air Bender.

But more so the lines of magic than chi here.

Which is something considering I collected any money they have which confirms a few things for myself to know that being in Jewels.

And the only few worlds I know that uses Jewels as currency are those who live in the world of Fairy Tail Earthland which honestly the name was a dead giveaway.

But then again, I was occupied by the fact I was stuck here in a new world along with finding a horde of suicidal cultist didn't really prioritize my thoughts in order considering Being X sent me here by choice or accident which doesn't leave a lot of promise of getting to know guy when I do meet him in town.

Still having money is a necessity in society and if looting from dead corpse won't be needing cash where they're going anyway.

Regardless though I did manage to surprise enough know their language I didn't know if I would have any issues or rather, I would gain a skill that allowed me to translate to another language or because of my abilities as [THE GAMER].

I have enough cash to leave as I don't know how much I have is actually worth I decided it was best I stay around at least till I finish up my daily quest to have this talk with God or Being X to be certain.

"Whew…"

Finishing up the rest of the training I began to see the fruits of my effort paid in full.

[Quest Completed]

[Please choose the following rewards:

-Reward #1: Status Recovery

-Reward #2: Stat Points +3

-Reward #3: Random Item Box]

[Ding!]

[You picked Reward #2!]

[You have received +3 bonus stats!]

While I would like to test somethings out, I would rather have the extra stats and use it right away to get strength.

I purposely added 2 of my stat points into STR while add 1 to LUCK to have a better chance in the future but I can certainly feel the effects occurring on my body.

Ah…

Yes…

I feel the power!

Seeing a small glow appeared around me I see the difference and can tell it.

Feeling my muscles on my body I began to see them grow even if it's only for a little bit. No rather condensed would be the word.

Luck on the other hand I don't really feel as much as I would hope but maybe I haven't met the right criteria or feeling of how to proceed on increasing my stats.

*THUD*

Ow…

Laying down on the ground feeling sore I decided to sleep up for the night and mentally begin trying to think of a way to unlock my MP bar for someone from another world. Because if I don't then I'm a dead man waiting to be killed.

When I check on the rewards the two other one's I decided to take reward number 3 to see if it's anything worthwhile.

[Ding!]

[You picked Reward #3!]

[You gained a stick!]

*Pop*

Making a popping sound seeing a stick fall out in front of me I only scowled talking to myself about this, "You have got to be kidding me? A stick? Seriously? I could literally get anyone one of them outside!"

….

For now, nap time is calling to me instead of dealing with this bullshit.

"Zzzz…"

Like that I slept knocked out.
