~Third POV~

Between the two of them, they stood ready to fight as the battle began, "BEGIN!"

*Shiii*

Ultear immediately began to attack as Lucy quickly used her Celestial Keys with Ultear's opening move producing an orb, "Sorry Lucy but I'll make this quick. <Flash Forward>!!"

Ultear produces one or numerous copies of their orbs in the air that all represent "future possibilities" of their orb's path, compresses all their futures, and redirects them all at their opponent to have them home on their target in a devastating assault.

*VOOOM*

*VOOOOM*

But Lucy managed to respond placing the Golden Key of the Gate of the Ram into her chest, "Don't think so! <Star Dress: Aries Form>!! And for insurance! Open Gate of the Lion! Leo!"

*Shiii*

Both magic circles appeared as Leo used his Magic to smash through the orbs in a brilliant light announcing his presence, "Now, now missy. It's rude for you to steal my Master's time to shine."

In a brilliant light, Lucy soon changed, borrowing Aries's Magic Power as she incorporated the power of Aries into her body. As a result, they are granted an outfit consisting of a two-toned pink, short woolen hoop dress that ends at the user's mid-thigh level.

The dress leaves their shoulders and arms bare, however, their arms are covered by pink woolen arm warmers and a woolen scarf is wrapped around her neck. Her legs are covered by horizontally striped pink and black leggings. The user bears Aries' zodiac sign tattoo on their left shoulder. The user's hair is styled into bangs framing their face whilst two gold ram horns sit aside their head, behind which a pair of side ponytails emerge.

Leo soon rushes in using his Magic towards Ultear as the orbs remain in his way, "Sorry lady I usually don't punch girls, but I'll make an exception just this once! <Regulus Impact>!!"

*Roooar*

Leo raises his hand engulfed in light and attacks his target by sending the head of a lion, composed of the aforementioned light, at them.

Ultear seeing this merely smirked as she responded as the orbs reflected Leo's light catching him by surprise, "Sorry Leo but I'm afraid this is a bad match-up for you! <Luminous Minutes>!!!"

*Shiii*

Ultear throws an orb above Leo and it multiplies into numerous orbs that charge toward the target similar to light beams reflecting Leo's <Regulus Impact> taking the blows growling but grinning, "Damn lady you hit hard…! But this is nothing to my Master's heart of passion within her!"

*Poof*

Vanishing Ultear eyes dart towards Lucy up above as she uses her <Wool Magic> pouring into her hand holding one of her Golden Keys at the ready, "Thanks Loke for the help! Now take this Ultear!! <Wool Bomb>!!"

*Pssssh*

*Poof*

Lucy conjures up a massive amount of Magical wool, surrounding Ultear. Using the thick wool, she can then ambush her from any given direction, and send them into a relaxed state, bringing the battle to their advantage.

However, Ultear quickly conjures a clock-based sword in an attempt to get rid of the wool as the orbs are stopped by the fluffiness as Lucy prepares her next dress, "Open Gate of the Scorpion! And <Star Dress: Scorpio>!"

*Shiii*

Changing immediately into her Scorpio form Lucy dons a skin-tight outfit, where the front has vertical stripes running downward, and the back of the outfit leaves the wearer's back exposed, as the opening is in the shape of a scorpion's stinger. The limbs of the outfit are dark-colored, with a wavy stripe running downwards by the side of each limb.

The areas such as the shoulders, elbows, knees, legs, and forearms are covered in armor plates, of which the forearm gauntlets leave the hands exposed. The waistline is lightly colored, with lines running across the edges, and has a chain, tail-like protrusion sitting above the wearer's tailbone. The user also dons a headband adorned with the Scorpio zodiac sign on it.

Scorpio reappeared sticking his pose as he readied his attack immediately surprising Ultear from behind, "Aw right! Time to help ya out, Lucy! <Sand Buster>!!"

*PEW*

Shooting a beam of sand causing a sandstorm Lucy followed along able to fly within the sane forcing Ultear to react getting into her Ice Maker pose and announcing her spell freezing the air around them, "Not bad. But not good enough Lucy. <Ice Make: Rosen Krone>!"

*Sheeeee*

Ultear creates giant roses and spiked branches, made out of ice, that surround Lucy and attack her with thorns as she quickly changes immediately with another Golden Key, "<Star Dress: Taurus Form>!!"

Breaking through the ice trap of Ultear Taurus emerged coming to back up Lucy holding his battle axe, "Moooo…! Let me take a helping hand, Lucy!"

Lucy shiftily dons an outfit consisting of a bra and sleeves with a cow pattern and pants that leave their right leg entirely revealed. The user also dons a pair of gloves and boots as well as a belt and a bag around their waist. While sporting this dress they use their hair in 2 buns, one at each side of their head also leaving some hair hanging. Additionally, Taurus's zodiac sign is located on the user's belt buckle.

Reaching for the whip in her <Star Dress: Taurus Form> her physical strength increased dramatically as she began to flail her whip around granting Taurus command, "Let's do this Taurus!! <Earth Wave>!!"

*BAM*

Lucy incorporates the power of Taurus into their body and strikes the ground with their whip, causing it to rupture the earth in the area in front of them, damaging anyone above it.

Ultear seeing this tries to flee but can't as Taurus appears forcing her to be on the defensives swinging his axe around in swift movements, "Sorry lady but this cow got to follow his lady demands! Mooo….!"

*Wooosh*

*BAM*

Heavily on the defensive Ultear managed to avoid their combined attacks but thought to herself observing the battle arena, 'No. The odd magic isn't here in the arena. Seems like we need to move our search elsewhere. Where could the magic have been siphon ran off too…?'

Seeing as Lucy was about to punch her she saw her ticket to leave allowing Lucy to hit her, "Let's see how about this!! <Lucy Punch>!!!"

*BAM*

"Ack!"

Being sent to the wall managing to hit Ultear on the wall managing to get out she quickly yields surprising Lucy greatly of her strength, "I yield. But damn Lucy…. You do know how to throw a mean punch."

Lucy blinked confused before muttering in complete surprise then into happiness, "Wait I won? No wait I mean I won!!!"

"YEAHHHHH!!!"

"Wooooo!!"

"Look at her man!"

"Who would've thought Fairy Tail had it in them…!!"

"Burh, she had that dog in her!!"

Mato soon announces the victor of the match once Ultear gives a small code light nod, "There you have it folks!! The first win of the battle portion of the Grand Magic Games Lucy Heartfilia!!!"

Everyone was cheering on how close the match was, but Silva remained surprised when he thought about the interaction between Ultear and Moto, 'Interesting… it seems like Ultear dived searching for the unknown magic. Seems like they are helping us but…'

Silva merely mentally shrugged it off considering they gained a point, and he wasn't going to let Lucy's happy mood be ruined today so he kept it to himself as he thought, 'After all where in the games to have fun? I won't ruin Lucy's mood for that and who knows she might've needed that confidence boost.'

After earning themselves a point they merely saw the fights between other teammates as Silva leaned his back witnessing the spectacle congratulating Lucy for her win.

However, the next match caught Silva's attention when the announcer voiced the next match getting everyone's attention as Chapati spoke in an excited tone, "From Fairy Tail B, we have Gildarts the Ace of Fairy Tail VS. Lamia's Scale Jura Neekis!!!!"

The two eyed each other as they began to enter the field. Silva spoke surprised for this match-up, "Whoa…! This will certainly be an interesting match to see huh?"

Natsu merely grinned with Happy behind him spouting out loud in a happy tone, "No way that old man would lose! Gildarts have this in the bag!"

Gray curtly nods his head agreeing with Natsu's statement between the two in a confident tone, "Yeah. Gildarts is still the powerhouse of Fairy Tail. He ain't losing any time soon."

Silva laughed agreeing with the two as they watched the match between Gildars and Jura commenting as he shrugs his shoulders in an understanding tone, "Hahaha! True. True. He won't be an easy target to knock down so this will certainly be an interesting match but it's a shame Jura had to meet a strong counter on the first round."

Everyone in the group nodded as Gildarts and Jura both stood face to face with each other as the announcer Moto spoke out, "BEGIN!"

The match between the two began intense as Jura jumped back keeping his distance with his Earth Magic summoning Golems below Gildarts to trap him in return he rushed forward his fist coated with <Crush > Magic breaking through them with ease.

The fight between the two only got more intense as Mavis spoke confidently witnessing Gildart Magic Power commenting for Silva to hear, "This match is truly an unfair counter for the enemy. Gildarts <Crush Magic> makes this a stalling match no matter what Jura can do…. Gildarts will crush it to pieces. Such an unfortunate fight between the two."

Silva nodded in agreement scratching the back of his head and replying in agreement, "Yup! That's our Gildarts for you. If he sees a problem, punch it with crush magic. See an attack crush it. Need to take a shit and crush it. See his magic isn't working he isn't crushing hard enough so he hits harder. See where I'm going with this?"

Mavis chuckled at Silva's scenario of what Gildart's solution to any problem, "Yup! Still feeling pity about him punching you in the past?"

Silva's response was turning around pouting getting a laugh out of Mavis as the Grand Magic Games fight soon ended in Gildart's victory just as the both of them expected.

When the games nearly ended for the day Carla's eyes widened receiving a brief flash because of her precog alerting Wendy in a concerned tone, "Carla? What's up? You seemed to have been spooked?"

Carla tried to reassure Wendy in a calm tone as the vision she received worried her greatly she witnessed, 'A white knight… and a huge magic pattern. The Mercurius Palace crumbling and singing amid the ruins… Lucy…'

However, this didn't go unnoticed by Silva using Spectator to peer into Carla's mind witnessing the visions confirming with a light nod, 'I see… so Future Rogue is coming soon. Better inform the King to allow me free reign of a threat. He has more power than that annoying princess. She just can't take a joke of ants in her pants I swear… sigh…'
