Dragon Slayer
"Oh how immature. Shame that you can't see reason in this. Welp it time to kill some kids" The man said as he pointed towards us.
"Ernate get behind us and hide. AND GET THEIR ASSES!" I yelled as I rush towards the bandits, the rest following suit while Ernate hides.
"AHA" The bandit shouted while trying to slice me into 2 with his saber but I simply duck under it.
"FAIRY DRAGON IMACT CLAW" I shout and punch the man in the liver. The man folds and I knee him in the nose "CRACK" I finish him off with an elbow to the neck.
Another bandit rushes towards and shots a fire ball. I breathe out then breathe in sucking in some of his magic then proceeding to dodge the rest of the spell.
"Fairy dragon ROAR" I shout and the roar hits the man in the stomach shooting him though some trees. I quickly jump up as ice spikes rush towards me. I looked over and saw the man again.
"Seems like your quite the trouble maker. But this is enough. These guys don't grow on trees, but I shall allow you to know my name before I kill you." I decide to let him talk so I can get more information. "I am Kabuki and this will be your grave!"
Suddenly wood comes from all around me and tries to impale me but I simply jump up on to the wood and back flip to safety.
I hear movement behind me but I smell Ernate. 'Just stay in hiding damn it'
"Ernest this man, Kabuki, he left his guild to become a bandit. His magic is mostly unknown but I have gathered that he uses fairy source magic." Bingo.
"Fairy magic eh? Well then that makes me your counter Kabuki." I sent a thumbs up towards Ernate and a toothy smile towards kabuki.
"That so? Then let test your theory."
"Fairy source EARTH SPIKES"
Spikes formed Infront of me and I breathe out then in expecting to absorb the fairy magic but..
"SPEW."
"COUGH"
The spikes impale my stomach as I quickly jump back before I could be fully impaled. I look towards Kabuki and I see he had on a smile that mocked my very essence.
"Counter me? It seems all you can counter is pissing your pants, HAHAHAHAHA"
'Why can't I eat his magic.... I can eat normal magic only partly but fairy magic I can fully eat... "H-how?"
"It seems like you just human. You can bleed. I will make sure you body lines this FOREST FOR THE REST OF ETERNITY!"
He rushes towards me. "Fairy SWORD" A blackish sword materializes in his hand as I transform my hand into Tilia claw.
"CLASH!"
"Pretty neat magic. It is a shame that you will DIE!" He throws me back as my claw bleeds. I untransformed it as I began to conjure up a spell.
"Fairy Dragon Painful Death whip!" A tail like whips forms from my back, 2 in total, as I send them to barrage Kabuki.
"FAIRY AIR WALL"
My whips were suck in place but his sword easy goes through the wall and cuts through one of my whips, turning it back to pure ethernano. I had mange to pull the over whip back. But suddenly I felt danger behind me.
"AGH" I shouted as a blade tore through me back. I fell to my knee as I turn around to see a bandit smiling evilly. The rest of the guards were..... delt with... that only left me versus 6 mages.
'it seems like you just human. You can bleed. I will make sure you body lines this FOREST FOR THE REST OF ETERNITY!' Kabuki voice hits my head like a rock. Dragon slayer...
"Lungs of a dragon, skin of a dragon, senses of a dragon. This is dragon slayer magic" Roubaul tells me.
'I cant be human.... I have been fighting it....'
Kabuki POV
"Kill him." I says coldly
The 6 mages swing their swords at the bleeding child. 'He put up a fight but he was weak.'
"I AM A DRAGON SLAYER !!!" The boy suddenly shouts as he jumps up above the swords. I widen my eyes as his leg turns sharp, blade like, and decapiate the rest of my mages.
'I need to use it. '
"ANCIENT FAIRY MAGIC, BLOOD DESTORYER BEAM!" I shoot out a large beam from my hands and it heads stright towards the boy.
"lungs of a dragon..." The boy whispered but I could hear it.
My spell hit the boy and I expected to hear cries of pain but all I saw was my magic being eaten...
"H-how?" I take a step back.
"Fairy... DRAGON.. ROAR!!!"
I quickly try to use my magic but... a dragon appeared behind the boy. It was large and fairy like. It stunned me long enough for the beam to hit me directly.
I felt my hands disappear. Then my legs. The rest of my body followed..
Ernest POV.
It was that simple... I just needed to embrace the magic. I used dragon take over to keep myself human, but that held me back. Dragon slayer magic needs the body too. That's the key.
I looked at the destruction. 6 bodies lay around me with their heads rolling. Noting left of Kabuki and a huge gaping path in the forest. I turned towards the wagon and say Ernate wide eyes.
"holly..." He whispered but my enhanced hearing picked up on his whisper. I walked over to him and opened my mouth to speak but was interrupted. "You just... you just beat him... He was an A rank mage." Ernate said with wide eyes and his jaw to the floor.
"What should we do about the bodies?"
That seemed to have gotten him out of his trance as he quickly said, "I will burn the bodies. You need to rest and patch yourself up."
Nodding at that I head into the wagon and grab some bandages and wrapped them around myself before rolling into a ball and sleeping.
Ernate POV
I picked up the bodies and put them into a pile. But my thoughts were else where.
'This kids a monster... But he has a good heart... I'll triple the pay for his trouble. Yeah that is what I will do.'
Ernest Pov
I fell into my slumber but was quickly pulled into my dream scape.
I was in a jungle. Tall trees that seemed to be in the heavens and lush all around. I knew where I was so I walked forward for some time. It took me 5 minutes to get where I needed to be. Infront of me was Tilia.
"Hello Ernest, I watched your battle and I am glad that you found out that you were holding yourself back."
"Thank you Tilia. But why is it that you wanted to speak to me?" I ask her since it was not normally that she wanted to talk.
"I used to hate humans. When Igneel came to me and said that I should have a human to teach my magic I was enraged. I nearly killed both him and atlas. But I suspect that they were not trying to kill me until the end where I nearly killed atlas. I calmed down at the end of the fight and flew away.
It was 6 years that had passed since that event and I found a human boy. Muten was his name. He was a kind child. I saw reason in Igneel's words so I taught the boy my magic. But it was short lived. Acnologia came and slaughtered everything. Poor Muten... He tried to fight against him but was eaten. I was next.
I have one wish. In exchange I will help you in dragon slayer magic." Tilia looked at me with tears in her eyes.
"I will. No need to help me too much. I will kill him." I said
"Thank you." Tilia said with her voice breaking.
I awoke to Ernate outside on a campfire. Judging on the sky it was morning.
"What you cooking?" I ask Ernate as he jumped, seemed like I spooked him.
"Woah you scared me. Any ways I am making rabbit, if you can, will you go look for some berries since we ran out of them?"
"sure"
I hop off of the wagon and headed into the forest. The green scenery calmed me and it was peaceful. I continued to walk collecting berries as I looked around the forest. I heard some noises so I hopped on a tree and observed as a family of deer walked passed.
It took me about 10 minutes of collecting berries before I was satisfied. I wanted to keep looking around so I did. I walked into a clearing where an egg laid. It was no ordinary egg as it was huge. About a third of my size.
I picked it up, it was cold to the touch. I wanted to keep it so I headed back to the wagon.
