15 Chapter 11: Dark Guilds

They decided to be in groups.

Carla, Gray, and Natsu.

Jura, Sherry, and Lyon.

Lucy and Hibiki.

Ichiya, Ren, and Eve.

Kaden and Erza.

I was in a daze while we were walking.

"Hey!" Erza yells

Kaden: "Huh?"

Erza: "I've been calling out to you for some time now, are you alright?"

Kaden: "I'm fine."

Erza looks at the dark trees in front of us and she looked towards me as if waiting for an answer. She knew that I would know more than the others, due to Hibiki's display of information of Oración Seis earlier.

Kaden: "Ah, Nirvana was the cause of this."

Erza: "I see..."

We were pondering on how to proceed the forest when...

"Damn" as I look behind me. 'I was stuck in my thoughts for too long.'

Erza too looks behind us and noticed that we were surrounded by a Dark Guild.

There were about a few dozen of people who wore silver armor that resembled a knight, however, their armor was stained completely black or red. Erza and I were completely surrounded, and we can only fight our way through.

Erza: "Their attire matches the descriptions of people in the Infamous Knight Guild."

The knights were silent, as if they didn't care that their identities were found out.

Kaden: "Stand by, I'll deal with this."

Erza only looks at me and nods. Knowing that I have the power to handle this myself. We were both considered S-Rank Wizards after all.

Mob: "All men, charge!" as they rushed at us with swords in their hands.

Erza only heard me mutter a few words...

"[Spring Season Blooming]... [Quick Fist]... [Aerokinesis]..."

What she saw shook her though, as there was thousands of cherry blossom petals surrounding both of them. The pink winds guided the petals on to the knights and the petals were stuck on them, as if it was done by super glue. They all felt incredibly weak and fell to the ground on their knees.

I snap my fingers...

'[Synergy Skill: Cherry Blossom Tree]'

The pink petals that were stuck on the dozen of knight's armor were glowing and converging onto their chests. Slowly they could see something sprouting, and thick roots were wrapping around their bodies. The sprout continued growing until it rapidly bloomed into a cherry blossom tree.

Erza was shocked, as she thought I only had Wind Magic. The view was incredibly pretty, yet horrific. What fell upon her eyes was a sight of dozens of glowing pink trees, and under the trees were people in black and red armor groaning in pain.

Mob: "I-I can't feel my magic power..."

If one were to look at forest from above they could see a small patch of it was pink. It looked abnormal, and didn't belong there due to being so close to those dark trees.

'That was lackluster...'

I couldn't help but think about the fight I had against Brain.

'Our magic tied that one time... I knew I didn't use my magic power seriously, however, my magic's power was doubled from being in this forest. He also countered [Blade Burst] with a single move. He's much more stronger when he removes his restrictions too.

The only reason I could land a hit on Cobra was because I used [Observation Haki]. I could see 10 seconds into the future. When he was too stunned from not being able to hear me coming and knocking his pet snake back. I casted my magic a few yards away to ensure I could land a hit on him.

I shouldn't have underestimated the Oración Seis, they looked too easy to beat because of the anime. I thought I could easily beat them all with my magic alone. I was completely wrong and arrogant. My [MAG] stat isn't as high as my other stats because I wanted to join Blue Pegasus with magic power of an A-Rank Wizard. Though I've been training it now, and it just recently reach about S-Rank, and know that it doubles when in nature.

All of this is real, not a game, and I'm fighting for my life. I don't have a proper understanding of power levels in this world. All my stats are ridiculously high, yet I can tell others will handle my punches without [Armament Haki].

I can see only my own stats and how I progress, but I can't see other people's stats. [Observation] doesn't work like [Appraisal]. It only picks out as many details of people and objects. It's similar to [Keen Eyes] but more analytical. Meaning I can see every move and action when a person does martial arts, hand crafts, etc... Processing the information. Paired with [God's Comprehension], it can make me learn skills instantly. That's how I got the skill [Butler], and other skills.

I also came to an understanding of what I don't have in this world... 'Power of Friendship', that is what I lack. Meaning I can't beat enemies when all odds are against me, and there will be no miracles. I have to use absolute power, and wit just to ensure my win. This world is more dangerous than I thought it would be...'

I turn to look at Erza who was still in shock.

"We should avoid the blackening trees. I know nothing about it and it might inflict a condition on us somehow." the huskiness of my voice rang into her ears.

"R-Right let's head east, as the knights left tracks that came from there. We might find their hideout." her face was red and I could clearly tell she sort of likes me. I shake my head, as getting in a relationship now isn't ideal.

"Ok, lead the way."

The trees were endless, we continued to walk, and I could see Erza fidgeting every once in a while. Her stares were burning the side of my head. I couldn't help, but blush a little.

'She couldn't be that thirsty can she?' My thoughts were interrupted by a hurried voice.

"Kaden! Can you hear me?"

'Telepathy?... Archive Magic...'

"Loud and clear." I said, which made Erza look at me weirdly.

Hibiki: "Natsu has already rescued Wendy.

I tried to contact you before, but it seemed I couldn't reach you. I'll upload a map to your mind, it'll lead you straight to the temporary camp we set up.

Is Erza there with you? I can't seem to reach her."

Kaden :"She is, we're close to the trees that were turning black because of Nirvana. Maybe that is the reason?"

Hibiki: "That might also be the reason why I can't contact the others."

Kaden: "Or they might be fighting..." I've already known some of them should be fighting the Oración Seis.

Hibiki: "I'll try contacting the others again in a few minutes or so, I guess...

Inform her what I've told you. We'll regroup and plan for our next course of action."

I was about to talk to Erza, however, I sensed someone with [Observation Haki].

'Cobra...'
