1 New beginning

The sunlight entered the greenhouse through the glass roof. The warm temperature had the roses blooming.

The smell of sweets and tea filled the tea house along with the clinking of cups.

*Sigh* The young butler sighed while observing the youth in front of him. Sunlight was reflecting off of his silver hair and light blue eyes making him look otherworldly.

An arch forms on his lips. "What's making you sigh Ryan?"

Ryan's heart was beating hearing the voice but he couldn't shake off the previous image of the young master with the current.

Li Jie smiled at the antiques of the clueless butler whilst enjoying the refreshments. But his smile didn't quite reach his eyes. 'This world was truly filled with stupid people. Not much different from his...'

That was right Li Jie didn't quite belong to this world. He was trapped in a world bound by plots and destiny. His previous was a sci-fi superhero and his current was a romance novel.

And he...he was a side villain named "Celyn".

The reality wasn't hard to accept for him. As he woke up from sleeping in cybercafes to sleeping in a warm comfortable bed. He had his bed, a clean room different from his basement lab. A large villa he had only seen heroes use. From a dark alley rat, he became a pampered young master in a day.

There was only one thing that he was dissatisfied with...

*Ding*

"Host, you can't eat sweet. You are a villain." A childish voice rang in Li Jie's head making him turn to Ryan. He observed the latter's expression to make sure he was the only one hearing this strange voice.

"Young master, you want more tea?" Ryan asked terrified of the "look of suspicion" just now. He was starting to miss the short-tempered jerk from a month ago compared to the current unreadable young master.

"No. I am done with this book. Let's return." Li Jie looked at his wristwatch as it was time for lunch with his 'family'.

Li Jie walked inside the manor followed by Ryan carrying his books. The Li father was going to return from a business trip after a month. So the whole manor was lively.

Nothing was interestingly mentioned about the Li family in the plot. It was a usual rich business family with Mrs. Li being a prominent socialite in city A. In the plot after the original owner was condemned as a bully, the Li family was bank corrupt by the protagonist. After that original owner who didn't have anything except for a family background faded in the vibrant happiness of the two protagonists.

"Ah'Jie, you are back?" It was a sweet voice that had a similar effect as the wind chimes in summer. It belonged to Mrs. Li the ex-movie queen. And the original Li Jie's mother. Even though the plot made it look like she ignored her child growing up it was far from the truth.

"Mother, is father back?" Li Jie approached her as soon as he saw her. Even though he should have been more than cautioned against her due to his identity as a transmigration. But some things made it impossible.

Not to mention to normal people the thought of transmigration, a parallel world was far from normal. At most he would get mistaken as having a case of personality disorder. Which was still better than having to act.

"Right? This man has a history of being late for 20 years." Jian Tang complained to her son trying to act childish gaining a chuckle from him. A satisfied smile bloomed on her lips.

"Master is here!" After hearing the sentence she wrapped her arm around her son's hand and dragged him with her. It looked like a harmonious picture. But Li Jie knew the lunch wasn't going that way.

Though his relationship with his mother was good. He had yet to meet the original owner's father. Compared to his sweet mother the rumor he heard about his father wasn't good.

Li Jie stood in front of the mansion with his arm held by Jian Tang who was excited to welcome her husband. Both of them waited as a black car stopped in front of them. An assistant came out to open the door.

Li Jie didn't know when he held his breath. A man in his mid-40s got down. He wore a dark business suit along with an expression that said "Fuck off". His eyes swept through the crowd.

Li Jie felt as if he made eye contact but the next second Jian Tang moved forward to greet her husband. Waking him up from his thoughts. Her enthusiastic voice was once again heard.

Li Jie adjusted his expression before going forward to greet the man. "Father..."

Dining table,

The dining table was silent except for Jian Tang's occasional small talk and clinking noises of cutlery.

Li Jie saw her struggle to turn the atmosphere between the family harmonic but he had no plans in helping her. He was busy observing and answering his father's questions.

"How was your college entrance exam?" The voice of Li Feng was devoid of any emotions, it was as if he was talking to his subordinate.

"It went fine. Though I might not have done the best I can easily enter a decent university." Li Jie was confident in his answers. Even though he had never been to a school he was convinced even the main character was one step behind him when it came to intelligence.

"We will see about that?" Li Feng looked unconvinced as the original owner's father knew Li Jie's academic track record. If anything it was beyond saving. "You will go to study abroad after the result is announced."

Li Jie raised his brows at the clear insult to his intelligence. But the food in front of him made him shut his mouth... temporarily.

"Li..." Jian Tang didn't see this outcome at all.

Though she admitted her son was worse off academically the thought of sending him abroad never crossed her mind. Especially when he has been acting strange. Though she couldn't predict what strange things had been happening to her son in the last months. But as a mother, she could sense he had gone through something. Something he could never share with others.

Which was why she specifically hurried her husband to return from a business trip. But it looked like a failure.

"He is not going anywhere. I won't allow you."

Jian Tang's voice almost cracked but she tried to make her point clear. Her peach-blossom eyes had moistened by the turmoil of emotions going inside her.

Seeing her like that even the employees on standby were moved. Wanted to protect this woman cursing the two jerks on the table but it was futile.

"I am going to my room." Li Jie got up from his seat despite being the main topic of the conversation. At last, he felt the mocking eyes of Li Feng but he was not in the mood to care. It

As a villain, he had always had two qualities which were "low tolerance and possessiveness". He could do anything to get what he wanted. This time he got sick of Li Feng. This man not only questioned his intelligence but also made his mother sad. Fury rose inside him.

*Ding*

*Unstable emotions detected*

"Host, calm down. You get kicked out of the house before the plot even starts."

The sudden voice left Li Jie startled. It was the second time he was hearing this voice. Li Jie checked his surroundings but there was no one in the corridor leading to his room. His lips formed into a thin line. It was almost as if this sound was all in his head.

*Ding*

"Finally, you understood."

Li Jie froze the sound not only came out of nowhere but it also knew his thoughts. He increased his speed and entered his room in hurry.

"Who are you?"
