Ch. 30 Bullets Dodged
Groggily and sleepily I open my eyes and see the shadowy stone ceilings before turning to see the still sleeping face of Felis not wanting to disturb her I just gently stroked her now beautiful somehow blonde and red hair that seems to be somewhere between the two as I stare up at the stone ceiling waiting patiently whilst roaming the forums out of boredom reading random things about the area I inhabit and seeing the messages from Ela, Affie and Crys... Along with the harassment from Anna who for whatever reason and almost entirely unnecessarily refused to move into Affie and Crys' room and spends all her time in my bedroom... Which somehow became all three of their's with my absence... I'ma probably need a new room when I'm finally back... They've already cleaned out the closet entirely and fixed the hole in the roof... Supposedly Affie and Crys wanted to change out the smallish bed... not small for one but for one grown woman and a growing little girl along with Affie... who somehow takes up the most space possible despite being the second smallest inbetween the three. However Anna immediately fought tooth and nail to keep all my old stuff in their obviously she's only staying in the room cause of my stuff so despite managing to fix up the closet which is now filled with all three of their clothes and nothing of mine no further progress was made in the room... I hear Affie couldn't even clean out from under the bed without Anna freaking out... But I took a deep couple of breaths thinking about what's under there... Ah... Fond memories... Shh... The system has its own internal camera and storage but anything stored in your camera whilst you are living in the same house as others can be viewed by the owner of the that house... I assume to preserve privacy... So as I was young I took many photos and had the system print em for... *cough* private research... Granted... I don't have a lot of exposure to women not of my family so most my photos were of the three of them... Which may be creepy in its own right... Thinking of the large box full of hundreds of different photos of Ela Affie and Crys in varying degrees of nudity and sexy poses I've caught them in over the years I shudder to think what may occur if Affie or Crys found it... They've never been shy about showing me that stuff in the past nor present as they have always paraded around in whatever outfit they felt most comfortable or liked the most... But finding a massive spank bank with a collage of photos may put up an immense divide between family members... Or cause different kinda issues I don't want to think about... Granted Ela would probably just smile and ignore it... Affie may blush and add more photos... and Crys... Well i don't know... She may burn the whole box or join Affie and make a whole lesbian collection for me... Whilst they aren't necessarily attracted to one another it wouldn't be the first time they've engaged in that sort of stuff... I've even caught them a few times... I remember looking for strap ons or toys when I was younger but surprisingly despite searching every single inch of their room found nothing... Except one rather creepy photo of me naked beneath Crys' diary... Which was system locked because it was bound to her... There's skills that would allow you to view it but they require a specific unique quest or a feat or even achievement of some kind. Also you'd still need to get ahold the diary to use em... Then theirs the issue of covering your tracks if you do it wrong, the item or other player's level is to far away from your own then the book will either say it's been viewed by someone else or it'll say specific who read it and even show a recording of them whilst they read it... And knowing Crys' level and that it's her personal diary... I'm willing to bet it would be a very detailed recording... Hell theirs a chance it even recorded me for simply touching it and moving it aside... So Crys may know I saw her photo... Affie didn't have any photos of me stashed away but I don't know if they have more on their storages as they are a married couple and the coowners of the house they can actually hide a ton of photos from even each other on the system... Granted it's difficult... It's not impossible for the spouse to find the collect of photos and most importantly they can always password protect the folder... Unlike for me they can't just see what's inside even the password protected folders for each other... Ela is doing alright still regularly teasing me with nude photos and videos of both herself and a wide arraignment of women. The guards have super muscular bodies but I guess that makes sense... Many of them covered in scars but most impressively regardless of size or shape all their breasts looked like they wished to defy the heavens and gravity alike. Big perky melons is my point... Given their fitness level it's not really that big of a deal... But it's definitely nice to look at... As for the duchess... She's much less muscular... While Ela is simply seductive by nature. Supposedly Ela's quest is about hunting down the lost family Heirloom of Eliza... Simply smiling and looking down at Eliza's sister... I can't help but laugh as Ela goes on about how the duchess is so sad for having no family left... Looking to the compass in my inventory then to Alice's Soul Stone I smile... She's gonna have an aunt and a sister before long... Well both will technically be my property so I guess it's difficult to deal with and her sister will be kinda a ghost... I've read through the properties of all the enchantments I had to redrawn onto the new compass and know that despite not being able to make a phylactery without the aid of the actual owner it's possible with the power of the compass to create a fake phylactery... It won't be able to resurrect Alice but it'll allow her to become it's item spirit and eventually maybe make a body. Sadly she will be forever tied to the compass... And from some of the enchantments I can easily tell it will be a bound object... so I will literally become her owner... At least a battle pet can be set free... But even if I threw away a bound object it would return to me... The only way to leave them outside my inventory or person is to leave them on property I owned... So Alice would technically never be able to leave my side or my property... Which is sad but also happy?
As Felis shifts in her sleep and slowly gets up I get a notification and my system window gets blocked off by a pop up...

Seeing the second notification I almost forget about the first as Felis who has slowly shifted into a sitting position next to me shows a big smile and begins to cry before light covers her entire being and it fades into my body... All without me noticing... <- Should have done that one in third person but whatever... -> Quickly checking my inventory I see a small light bluish colored box wrapped in cloth... Pulling it out I unwrap the cloth that bursts into mana the moment it's been removed and fades away as if it was the same as the manifested hand from the slapping incident... Looking into the wooden box I find three objects and a note... Pocketing the objects for now I look at the note...
"As a thank you for giving me some good entertainment here's a few gifts." Already a little creeped out I realize I've basically just done a porno for this goddess... Reading on... "The first gift is info. In Vred's study will be an old rusty key. You will want to take that towards the ghost town and venture north west of the deep yang pavilion. There you will find a very old stone tower that's been sealed for decades. The key will open it. At the top you will find one of your best options to get two parts of your compass quest. Each floor will contain a guardian. You will need to fight to save the princess at the top of the tower brave knight" Pft... Ha... Ha... Gasping for breath at the goddesses dumb joke I continue on... "The other three gifts are included. Now go finish the quest I gave you... Don't forget to save the last innocent... you've already made that part more difficult for yourself by making that little one a little less innocent..." What does that mean? Hoping for further explaination I read on...

Taking a gulp of equal parts terror and relief at the ps I look towards the new Companion tab of my system that was added the moment I got Felis I can't help but shudder... That's one hell of a close call...
As for the rest not only wasn't that helpful but it was quite creepy... Shrugging I looked at the three objects in my inventory... One is a giant metal heart... Oh... Badass I almost feel like giving her a better show if this is the kind of reward I get... Heart of the first golem check...

Wow... Interesting back story so this Gjorn dude was once a good father? And a archmagus not a necromancer... Well it doesn't say good father just loving father... He may have still been a shit father... Looking to the third object hoping for another thing I lack I got disappointed and a little creeped out on top of uncomfortable as my pants began to get a bit cramped... Yeah... One of the presents... Is a photo... It's of a beautiful young woman laying on a pure white bed completely naked looking away from the camera sunlight glistening off her perfect body further pointing out the difference between her beautiful brown caramel colored skin compared to the other pure light colors around her. Her breasts a bit small but still beautiful. Flipping the photo over I read the message on the back... "If you'd like to learn my name you'll need to find me in the world above. Well she's certainly beautiful... I don't know about that cursed and executed instantly bit but I assume it's not gonna be good for me... Curses are hard to overcome... Execution isn't a big deal though... Looking to the last object I simply became confused this time... It's just a pill with a note attached to it...

Looking at the red lipstick mark that the note ends with I chuckle a bit and ripped the note off the pill as it fades into light I look at the pill.

Looking at the final notification I choke up a little... What the fuck... I didn't know that was even possible... This pill wouldn't be that valuable to most people... but to me it's ridiculous... Thinking about it... then looking at the usage limit I can't help but choke up a little as I realize I'm probably gonna have to waste my favor from the goddess to ask for two more of these... Sighing I shrug and down the pill. Immediately falling to the ground in excruciating pain.
