Ch. 10 Growth 3/3

It didn't take me long to get the 100000 exp needed for my growth stage 2 but weirdly I got a pop up after getting it...

So... now I'm just stuck in a weird rut... I've been working on leveling up my crafting skills and getting money as things to do but 6 years is a lot of time... Strangely enough the exp didn't seem to have a cap when it came to the quest though... By the time I had finished those 6 years of waiting... It was Ela's 24 birthday and the new Anna's 6th... Anna has been obsessed with me since the moment her eyes laid on me she refuses to ever leave my side and I could tell it hurt both Affie's and Crys' feelings but I didn't know what to do. I tried convincing Anna to at least stop sleeping in my room but the little bugger had picked up sneak and a movement skill as her first abilities and while she's not faster or even stealthy enough to get away from us or sneak away from us she does somehow always manage to sneak into my room right before it automatically locks for the night... and Affie and Crys set it to do that in a way that even they can't unlock it... Weirdly I am the only one who can't unlock it but I don't get to do that till I'm 18... So she just spends most nights with me no matter what any of us have to say about it... Anna also seems to adore shooting people and forced me to make her a sniper rifle. So even though she's so young she's actually participating in fights in me and Affie's team... Ela recently hit level 40 and she was super ready to start grinding in a higher level dungeon but was stopped immediately by Crys when she told her that it's impossible without a 5 man party... Which is what we are so she has to wait for the others... So Ela and Crys actually stopped going to the dungeons... Well Ela... Crys just joined out team and follows along like Affie... I always let Anna take the first hit then I kill em. Not that it matters Anna doesn't get exp as she's still on stage 1/3 the fundamental stats... She claims she'll get the best fundamental stats ever in agility and we all chear her on... Especially me mostly out of guilt... As I still refuse to ever mention what my stats actually are... But both Affie and Crys are aware they are ridiculous after all I one shot the level 40 boar boss when I'm level 1 and classless... Anyways as I've finally finished my stage 2 quest and become able to do stage 3 I opened it up... Both Affie and Crys seemed to have locked themselves into their bedroom that afternoon making sure the door is locked with Anna inside the room which due to it's early occurance surprised and trapped even her but weirdly Ela was sitting out... In her old favorite outfit... Of nothing... Cuddling up next to me like the last 6 years never happened... It's weird... But whatever... As I opened my growth quest and pressed the button Ela seemed to be visibly nervous staring at me despite her favorite show being on...

Looking at the grade and reward in confusion I can't help but wonder if I've gotten stiffed... I mean shouldn't I be getting a better reward then that? I had billions of exp... Also you could at least give me some flattery... Unknown? What a let down... Pulling the class token out of my inventory I inspect it.

Looking at the simple description and oddly beautiful emerald green little wolf I can't help but wonder if I was wrong or not... I mean it sounds cool but what's a unique class? And why is the token so pretty. Sighing I close out the window and put aside my token before I look at my final growth quest and my jaw drops...

Looking at the window and feeling quiet giggling sound next to me as Ela shifts about I think I finally understand why Ela had no new skills and why she's been isolating herself for years... But... Why? It's a bit weird... Looking over at her about to ask all the questions I have she kissed me and my mind went fuzzy... before I blackedout...

Yawning I reached stretched my arms and legs outwards while looking down at the weight on my chest expecting Anna as usual but it's not... It's Ela... It's been years since she slept on my chest like that... I don't know how I'm meant to feel... Feeling my movement she woke up and looked me in the eye for a moment before her face turned beet red and she jumped up carefully and limped out of the room... It wasn't till she moved that I realized that we had been quite literally connected at the hip while we slept... Looking down at blood stains and large stain on my bed I can't help but get confused... I got up and entered the bathroom showered then cleaned up my bed swapping out the sheets before I walked out into the living room in my leather armor before I sat down and tried to remember what the hell happened that last... Whilst I was distracted Anna hopped up and sat on my lap while she grabbed my face and looked me in the eye...

"Why does your bedroom smell funny?"

Looking at her innocent face and patting her head I choose to never answer her question or at least wait till someone else answers it for me... Why does it smell that way... What the hell happened?
