65 2759 The True Power of a Saint

Our Domain realm legacy! The Netherworld Empire representatives paused as their upbeat moods became one of shock and uncertainty.

"Guild leader Black Flame, again this isn't a decision I can make on my own. I'll have to call for a guild meeting and it could take us days to come to a decision." Dark Dream said.

"I fully understand. I plan to create the city in about a week, so please use that time," Shi Feng said, not worried at all. The upper echelons of a great super guild will definitely realize the massive benefits of having a city in the Bermuda Islands. Netherworld Empire giving him what he wants isn't a matter of if, but when. +

"Thank you. We will give you a decision by then. Take care Guild Leader Black Flame" Dark Dream and her group then walked out.

"Guild Leader, why do you need to give up our future city's shares to get a domain realm legacy? If you had waited we could have created our own," Aqua asked in confusion.

While Zero Wing doesn't yet have the means to systematically train domain realm experts, it's not like they can't nurture one. Shi Feng had helped her and the others enter the domain realm by repeatedly strengthening their souls with the ancient god literature fragments and life elixirs. In fact their void realm experts are even stronger than ordinary domain realm experts thanks to the realms of truth, and Lei Bo and Lee Jun's combat training. That's why she felt that her guilds training system is even better than most super guilds. And it will only be a matter of time until they figure out how to properly create domain realm experts, so there really wasn't a reason to do that.

Shi Feng gave Aqua a helpless smile and said "there's two reason I did this. First, If it were any other super guild I wouldn't care for their domain realm legacy, but this is a legacy from a great super guild. Do you know what that means? They had not only found a way to create domain realm monsters but also help them progress greatly in the domain realm. Other super guilds legacy's just let one enter the domain realm or make small progress in it, after that they have to figure the rest out themselves to advance in it."

Aqua's eyes widen in realization. What Shi Feng said was right, after reaching the domain realm she would have been stuck in its beginning stages if not for the massive amounts of resources Shi Feng gave her, and training in the Secret Pavilion's training system, which is as strong as the great super guilds.

"The second reason is that in all honesty, I'm not too confident in actually defending this city by ourselves."

"That can't be, Guild Leader! We've grown so much stronger! Even if four superpowers came at us, I'm pretty sure we can easily handle it."

Aqua is right. The guild has grown tremendously strong. More and more people in the guild either fully unlock their mana bodies or become tier 4. They also train and recruit more refinement realm experts practically every other day, how can they not be strong enough to defend one city.

"That's true Aqua. If this city was in any other location, nobody will be able to take it from us. But this is the Bermuda Islands, even a basic town built there is more valuable than two or three cities. Having a city there will be like having the life line of all the powers that develop in that area, with that as a temptation even insignificant powers will stop at nothing to take the city. Only by having a powerful guild like Netherworld Empire can we deter most people from targeting us." +

Shi Feng remembers when the great super guild Olympus Palace built their guild town in the Bermuda Islands in his past life, even as the number one great super guild, Olympus Palace, had to fight tooth and nail practically everyday just to defend their town. This only became worse when the town eventually became a city. Olympus Palace had to ally itself with the Secret Pavilion and Violet Sword to deter hostile powers just from attacking. Anywhere from 30 to 50 tier 6 players were stationed in the city at any time to garrison it, only when that happened did others stop targeting the city.

Currently Shi Feng is confident that all the core upper echelon will reach tier 5, but he can only guarantee that a select few will reach tier 6. He's not even confident that he will reach tier 6 and in this timeline the number of tier 5 and 6 experts will massively increase, he can already tell.

Shi Feng has one way to properly defend the city and that's to get the fire spirit to reach tier 6. In the past a first rate guild had grown their fire spirit to tier 5 and had no qualms with provoking super guilds. But to do that is nearly impossible, he will need to feed the fire spirit plenty of tier 3 flames at least. Shi Feng has a clue on how to obtain a tier 4 flame and that is to get the black destruction fire, which is most likely held in the world summit but at most it will help the fire spirit reach tier 4.

Clearing his mind of those thoughts Shi Feng told Aqua "Ok bring up Shining Tiger's people. We can worry about those things once Netherworld Empire makes a decision."

After his talks with Shining Tiger, Shi Feng went to Black Wing City to meet up with Sharlyn. He wanted to ask about the Shadow Saint legacy, that orb Christie gave him, and about the little ArchFairy that's currently sleeping on his shoulder.

Now that Shi Feng is a high ranking Noble in the city, the guards that usually treat him with indifference now gaze upon him with respect. It was satisfactory feeling, he remembers the last time he tried to enter the top room of the Stargazing Tower, these guards had threatened to kill him.

When Shi Feng entered the room he saw the magnificently gorgeous Sharlyn reading a book as usual. Not looking up from her book she said, "you haven't come to see me in a while, I was starting to get lonely." +

Shi Feng's good mood immediately disappeared. Sharlyn definitely didn't miss him, she missed his wallet.

"Lady Sharlyn, I'm here to ask you about some things I happened to find."

Sharlyn seductive lips curled up into a smile, closing her book she looked up at Shi Feng and said, "little dummy, information is power and to obtain power requires gold coi-", but before she could finish, she saw Ember who just woke up and started to cause a ruckus.

Shi Feng noticing the stunned look on Sharlyn's face, quickly grabbed Ember and asked his question before Sharlyn could ask for payment.

"Lady Sharlyn, do you know what exactly she is. All I know is that she is an ArchFairy, but I can't find any information about ArchFairies. Not even in the library."

Sharlyn calmed down and used a spell to bring Ember to her. She then started to play with the little girl as she explained, "of course you can't find any info on them. ArchFairies used to live in the era where the ancient gods and sages were at peace with each other. But they mysteriously became extinct."

Shi Feng's eyes lit up, "does that mean they are strong?!"

"Strong does not even begin to describe it. ArchFairies are born from the purest and most powerful forces of mana. Their magical talents can put even High Elves to shame. They are also one of those rare beings that can do nothing but sleep, and they will become a God eventually. This little one's power will rival the ancient gods and sages when she grows up."

Shi Feng became excited. Right now Ember is only tier 0, but once she reaches tier 3 she might even give tier 5 players a run for their money. He can't even begin to imagine what would happen when she reaches higher tiers. But this presented a problem. There are a few creatures that could do nothing and still reach high tiers, like dragons. A dragon could sleep for hundreds of years and still reach tier 5. But this takes time, if he wants Ember to grow stronger quickly, she will need tons of resources.

If that was the only problem it would be fine, but as Ember grows stronger, his soul will need to grow stronger as well to form a contract with her.

"Lady Sharlyn, since she is so powerful, does that mean I will never be able to form a contract with her?" He asked, a little depressed.

Sharlyn giggled when she heard him say this, "little dummy, don't you realize what legacy you have. Your legacy is one of the Ten Great Saint legacies, just like this little fairy it was born from the most powerful forces of nature. After doing some investigation I've discovered that those who wielded the legacy were even capable of killing the ancient gods and sages, just like the God Slayer once had. If you're still worried about it, I'll gladly take her off your hands."

"Wait! The God Slayer had one of the Saint Legacies?!" +

"Not just any Saint legacy. He had the same one you do, the Blade Saint. I've only found this information out after much trouble. You're lucky I'm in a good mood or I would have charged you for that bit of info." Sharlyn said as her fingers released strings of mana for Ember to play with it.

"As long as you reach tier 5 and unlock the true power of the Blade Saint, you should have no problem forming a familiar contract with her."

Shi Feng breathed a sigh of relief, he then brought out an ancient tome that held the Shadow Saint legacy, "Lady Sharlyn, I found this in the Undead World. Is it also a Saint legacy?" He asked.

Sharlyn stuck out her hand and wiggled her fingers, "1000 gold."

Shi Feng sucked his teeth but gave her the money, 1000 gold is nothing to him.

With a satisfactory grin Sharlyn played with the money pouch. "No. so far I've only managed to discover four true Saint legacies. The Blade Saint from the Destroyer of Immortality, The Knight Saint from the Infinite Aegis, Wizard Saint from the Magic Singularity, and the Life Saint from the Life Creator. This Shadow Saint you have is most likely a cheap imitation from the ancient gods or sages to counter the true Saint legacies. But it should still rank the top among peak legacies and rival the Stargazing Tower's peak legacy. After all it was created by an Ancient God or Sage, this Shadow Saint is sure to be extraordinary."

Shi Feng became slightly disappointed. He was hoping to have one of the guild members become another Saint but this isn't so bad. Peak legacies are extremely rare, the fact that he managed to find another one is amazing. So far only eight people have peak legacies in the guild. The rest have their standard legacies or advanced ones. He decided he will have a guild meeting with the upper echelon to see who will take this legacy. With two of his questions answered, Shi Feng was about to take out the orb Christie had given him a while back until he got a call.

It was none other than Dark Dream.

"Vice Guild Leader Dream, why have you called me so soon? Have you guys come up with a decision."

Dark Dream stared at Shi Feng as if he just won the lottery. +

"Guild Leader Black Flame, we have decided to agree to your first three terms. After an extensive debate, we have decided that the last one requires a condition of our own."

"Please say what you will like." Shi Feng wasn't surprised as he expected this, he really was asking a lot for just 10% of his city's shares.

"Thank you. Guild Leader Black Flame, you just have to agree to one of the 3. We would like 30% instead of 10% of the shares of the city. Or we can trade, with Zero Wing giving us your truth realm legacy. Or we will take 500 units of seven luminaries crystals."

Shi Feng paused for a moment, he didn't expect Netherworld Empires appetite to be so big. He refuses to give up any more shares of the city and while Zero Wing managed to incorporate the realms of truth training into their own training system based on the Extraordinary Tower and his own experience, giving that away will weaken Zero Wing's advantage in the game.

After seeing the dissatisfaction on his face Dark Dream quickly said "Guild Leader Black Flame, please understand this is a huge risk for us. If you are not willing we will take 5% shares and still agree to the three terms."

"That is fine. We will pay the 500 units in installments, is that okay?"

Hearing Shi Feng's response, Dark Dream breathed a sigh of relief. Zero Wing can partner with any other guild when it comes to this.

"Thank you for understanding. We are not in a rush so the 500 units can start being paid after the city is built. No excuse me, I will tell my superiors of your decision and send you the domain realm legacy."

Dark Dream went to go get things prepared. Shi Feng wasn't too disappointed with losing 500 units of seven luminaries crystals, he has about 2000 units and thanks to the Shining fortress the guild earns 10 units every other day.

As he was about to talk to Sharlyn again he got another call request. This time it was Gentle Snow and she looked like she saw the sky falling.

"Snow what's wrong?"

"Guild Leader, a tier 5 mutated dragon appeared in the Beast Empire capital city and has taken it over!"
