(CHAPTER 9) THE UNEXPECTED FAREWELL

<p>Neon spewed out blood excessively and dangerously. He was In even more danger than he was before. It felt like he was paralysed, he couldn't move a muscle. All he could see and feel now was Nates horrifying strength piercing his body. He then started to kick Neon in the face and stomach as hard as he could with massive feelings of pleasure. Even more blood was coming from Neons body, now from his face too. But thanks to his healing it was keeping him alive however, it didn't make him immune to pain. He was feeling every attack Nate executed on him. "You know I'm actually glad you have super healing third string, it just means I can hit you as many times as I want! As hard as I want! And no one would care haha!" Nate said maniacally as he was kicking Neon in all places. He couldnt take anymore pain. It felt like his muscles were being ripped violently out and detached from his body. He wanted to give up but he couldn't even speak. Suddenly a massive explosion was heard from just outside the colloseum startling everyone....<br/><br/>"BAAAAAAAANG!!!!!"<br/><br/>Everyone was curious to see what caused the explosion and where it came from. When the audience, including all the students, looked to see in the direction of the roaring bang they heard. Shrivels were rushing down their spine, making them tremble in utter fear when they were greeted with something impossible. Nate suddenly had a new rush of emotions. His whole body started to tremble uncontrollably. "I...I...Is this w...what fear f...feels like..." Nate cried in fear for his life. Neon just by laying his eyes on what was revealed before him was too much to bare. Just looking made it seem like a sudden weight was overpowering his body. He too was overwhelmed in fear. Although the two and all the other students have never seen them in person. They were preparing for this all their life and have also seen pictures and videos to know for sure, that what was in front of their very eyes. Were Iratheons....<br/><br/>There were about 10 of them. They were standing on top of the rocks just outside the colloseum. Their horrifying appearance shook everyone to the core making them run for their lives. But Neon still couldn't move after the battle he was in, this was bad. They had an appearance which looked close to a human. Or at least their figure was anyway. Their skin was rock solid and had green scales all over their body. And they had bright red eyes and a tongue that was very long that came dangling out their mouths. They closely resembled to dinosaurs and lizards, they had tales which were very thick and dark green in colour. And finally they had sharp claws that could rip through human flesh in ease. "How the hell did they get here, isn't there a forcefield around the city strong enough to ward of even the Iratheons?" Lucy, who was incharge of the kids, shouted at the top of her lungs. "Everyone run away, the adults will take care of the situation. We will protect the children at all costs!!" She Shouted but still having a lingering feeling if they could even protect themselves, never mind the kids.<br/><br/>"There he is, after all this time, we finally found him. He's taken another vessel I see. Open Wound that traitor!" One of them snarled. The leader of the Iratheons could be seen by anyone. He was massive compared to the others and his eyes, unlike the others were dark black in colour. "My men, we have finally made it to our destination. "He said in a deep and trilling voice" "If you get your hands on Open Wound, kill him without a second thought!" "Yes Raknolle!" They Shouted responding to their captain. They were now initiating the battle which was going to be a massacre. "HEY NEON GET UP, WE HAVE TO GET OUT OF HERE!!" Riyu said as he nudged him. However, he told Riyu to get out of there himself. He looked at Neon with such confusion but could tell Neon was serious. He stepped back as Neon was gathering his strength back. Neon was scared to the bone but it was a one sided emotion as he felt another one rushing and overtaking him. Anger. It was so unusual and confusing to Neon. "Shouldn't I be terrified..." He said puzzled. But for some reason, something inside him was getting worked up. Neon was now fully recovered and got up standing on his feet. Piles of bodies were already starting to gather as the Iratheons were starting their massacre. Pain was fighting the Iratheons at the front as he was extremely powerful but was barely keeping up with them. He looked over to see if Neon had ran to safety but saw him still in no man's land. <br/><br/>suddenly, a massive beam was shot out one of the Iratheons mouth which was aimed at Neon with tremendous speed and precision. But before Neon even saw and realised that the beam was coming at him, it was too fast to dodge and too powerful to block. It pierced him like a bullet making a massive whole in his body. blood bursted out everywhere in all directions but the one that was hit wasn't the one who the Iratheons intended to kill. "Dammit" The Iratheon said in anger.<br/><br/>Pain fell to the ground liflessly. Everyone was shocked to see one of their strongest already go down. When Neon realised what had happened, his eyes filled with tears. Heartbreaking cries were heard as he rushed to Pains side. "Pain, I'm so sorry, please don't leave me, you cant.... you...your...." Neon cried as he saw Pain who looked like he was on his last breath, his face discoloured and his eyes watered up as his eyes met with Neons. Pain smiled and a rush of relief hit him as he realised Neon was not hurt. "Hey....kiddo...don't cry haha, I'm just fine...." He said as he coughed out blood. They both new he wasn't going to make it. "Tsk I'll get him, just wait till my energy recovers haha" The Iratheon said laughing maniacally. "Hey Neon, I don't think I have much time left.... so before I go..." "No dont say such things, you CANT DIE!" Neon shouted cutting him off as he cried uncontrollably. "Neon, your not a kid anymore okay, I knew that this was going to happen sooner or later..." "No...No...NO!" Pain kept talking ignoring his cries."look we wernt going to stay together forever. That's why I gave you extra training to prepare you for when I'm gone." "PLEASE... NO....BUT YOUR MY DAD!!" Pains eyes started to well up even more as he heard those words. It hurt him so much not having to spend more time with Neon but he was glad that he could help Neon and bond with him. "Hey listen now Neon" He said as he put his hands onto Neons shoulders. Neon looked at him with his vision blurred as he had cried so much. "When I first laid my eyes on you, I knew you were different, I knew that you were going to be the person to change this world. Your more stronger than you know, I've felt it all this time, your inhumane power, you just need to tap into it. "Your going to conquer and beat this world you hear me!" Pain said as he knew that he now had seconds left. "But how do I get stronger without you, tell me what I should do." Neon cried panicking as he could see Pain drifting away. "You don't need me to tell you, you will know what to do when you are ready" Pain said smiling. "Thank you Neon, you don't know how happy you made me... Thank you for loving me.....I'll love and cherish you forever.....my...son" Pain said as his hand left Neons shoulder and hit the ground.<br/><br/>Neon gritted his teeth with sadness, and anger. He clenched his fist digging his nails into his hand till blood came trickling down. He stood up slowly turning to the Iratheons with his bloodshot eyes. A vein could be seen on his forehead as his body was boiling in rage and anger, which was all directed to the Iratheons.<br/><br/>Suddenly, he felt a sudden change in his body. It was the same unusual feeling from before but it was different this time. A taint of darkness could be felt within Neons body which was getting stronger, Neon could no longer contain it. He could feel so much anger overwhelming him, it was too much for him to keep his body under control from the darkness.<br/><br/>Neon grabbed on his hair as he was moving from side to side uncontrollably screaming as his voice seemed to get deeper. All the others including the Iratheons stopped whatever they were doing and looked towards the immense power they were feeling. However, they were puzzled to see that the power that was so horrifyingly strong, was emitting from Neon. "What the, how the hell is this possible, open wound isn't supposed to be that powerful." One of the Iratheons said. "No, it's the boys power aswell mixing with his making him into an abomination!" The leader said, who was also stunned. They were shook and stunned by the immeasurable power, a gust of wind suddenly rushed from Neon making some of the others fly of the ground. Neon cried and screamed once more as his voice was now getting deeper then it was before. He fell to his knees and looked up towards the others. They felt even more concerned as they saw the iris of Neons eyes turn red and his hair turn from black to white.<br/><br/>Next, within an instant of a second. Everything stopped and the others looked to see Neon with his head down looking at the ground. "What the hell is wrong with the kid!" "He doesn't have an ability so what is going on!" Open Wound slowly, then started to lift his head snarling and grinning. "I'm finally in control, time to have some fun hah" He said getting into a stance which no one had seen. "oh no, this is bad, he's doing the stance, what should we do boss!" The other Irathrons then looked at the leader panicking to see their boss petrified and stunned so much so, that he looked like he was going to pass out of shock. "I could never have guessed he had gotten this powerful, we need to retreat RIGHT NOW!" The leader of the Iratheons said as the others followed him to their ship which was just outside the colloseum. <br/><br/>Open Wound then started to lift his hand to the air. "Shadow Scythe!" As soon as the words came out his mouth, a Scythe was beginning to form from above him which was covered in black shadows and had a purple aura on the outside of it. Then without any alarm, he lifted himself of the ground moving towards the Iratheons with rapid speed. "RAKNOLLE, HES COMING WE NEED TO..." But before it could finish of its sentence, it was cut off by the realisation that he, Open Wound, had formed his Scythe already, and was ready to do the famous attack which nearly wiped his whole kind. "Shadow Slash of Destruction!" shouted Open Wound laughing uncontrollably as he swiftly swiped his Scythe with such destructive force, creating a backwards force nearly just as hard making the people behind him shoot backwards. As soon as the move was executed he then commanded the Scythe to make the move disappear and reapear in front of the Iratheons where the ship was located. They had nowhere to run to and within a few seconds, their bodies were found on the ground split it half with green blood spewing out of them. However, the leader was still alive despite being cut in half. He groaned in pain and coughed out blood. Open Wound then started to make his way to Raknolle who was trying to crawl away with his arms. When making his way to him, he stomped his foot onto his head making Raknolle scream in Pain. "What are you doing....your a monster! a traitor! how could you even att....." Without letting him finish, he pressed his foot onto his head with so much force making his head explode. "How could you say that after you did what you did. When that happened, you opened my eyes. maybe I'll side with these people instead of your boring asses. Your the monsters, your the traitors." He said with disgust.<br/><br/>Suddenly, he felt his body change, it felt like he was going through a transformation again, but this time, it was back to what he was originally. He felt his eyes change from red to back and felt his hair turn from white to black. Neon then felt sluggish and weak. "Why do I feel so tired, what the hell happened..."
