(CHAPTER 5)THE OATH OF LOYALTY AND THE START OF MILITARY SCHOOL

<p>When Pain and Kain arrived at the military reception, they were met with a women who had short black hair, and was also wearing a power lvl scanner just like Kain and Pain. her name was kayla and she was sitting on the chair with a holographic screen in front of her waiting for them to approach her. "Is this a new recruiter gentlemen?" Kayla said looking at the baby. "Yh but he ain't got a name so just register him as AS (anonymous student) for now. He's in the upper rank so I'll put him in room 10." Said Pain as he started to walk to the designated room. "Wait a minute." Kayla said as she finished registering the baby on to the holographic screen. Pain stopped and looked towards her as Kane was of in his own little world(day dreaming). "His power lvl is only 10 like a normal ability user so he should be put with the lower or middle class students (baby's)" Kayla said as she finished scanning his power lvl. Kane was standing in the corner near the entrance staring at the outside world as Pain explained why it should be put in with the upper class students. "No, this kid is different to others I've seen and I know it" He said to her confidently as he analysed the red aura again and again searching for answers on the unusual baby. Of course Pain knew he wasn't a normal kid seeing as his aura was red, after all, this was the first time he's seen this aura so it could mean anything, also, on top of that, he was amazing at healing even for a baby. Just as he said this, a tall women named Lucy with blonde hair which she had in a bun came over towards them. Lucy was also wearing some power lvl glasses and a black suit as she approached them. Kane realised she was coming and rushed to stand near Pain fixing his clothes and posture, he didn't wanna be caught messing around with her. After all, she was a in a higher rank then them. She stopped to look hard and inspected the baby before talking. You see her job was distributing the students to their classes which was an important job. "Yes, take the child to the upper class with the others, right now I need to finish of some business so I'll come back later to check if the child is doing well" Lucy said as she gave one last curious look at the baby before walking back from where she came from. "So she sensed something abnormal inside him too, haha" Pain thought to himself as he walked to drop the baby of at room 10.<br/><br/>many months later.....<br/><br/>Lucy, who was in charge of taking care of the kids as well as distributing them based on power lvl and abilities, came to check on all the children including Neon, which was the same child who had the unusual powers(Pain named the child). But, for all the time he had spent at the school so far, he hadn't showed any abnormality or anything out of place at all for that matter. He was practically just like the other ability users based on power lvl, but as Pain came over once in a while to check on him, Neon still had the mysterious red aura emanating from his body, but it seemed to get larger bit by bit, although you could barely see it, but Pain catched on. This was the first ever time that Pain was attracted and intrigued by anyone, mainly because, he didn't act like the rest of the children. He ate large portions of food while the other kids in upper class ate their normal fill. And despite this, his body didn't even change no matter how much he ate. He could almost instantly heal his wounds when he would fall over or bruise himself which was not a new thing they found about him as he always had amazing healing powers, however the other kids had no such things, but were still exceptionally strong. But it was like Neons body could adapt in any given situation. <br/><br/>When he was able to speak Lucy immediately with the rest of the kids, told them to swear an oath of loyalty to serve and to protect civilians as well as the Earth itself, of course they didnt have a say in the matter anyway as they and the other children were the only people that stood a chance at the harsh things the world would throw at them, such as brutal wars with the Iratheons. Just as they all swore the oath, Neon approached Lucy hoping to get what he was going to ask for. "Hello Mrs Lucy, when will I get my supporter?" He said with his head lifted to look towards Lucy's face to see that she may not have a good answer to the question once again. "I've already told you for I don't know how much TIMES Neon, you will not have a supporter because you don't have an ability, your genes havn't mutated for some reason so your just like a regular boy right now and even so, it's impossible for your genes to mutate now to get powers, or at least that's what we think." Lucy said getting exhausted that she had to explain this to him everytime she came to see him. In fact everyone in the military school had a supporter which was basically like a holographic guide to using your powers correctly and to also improve them. But seeing as Neon did not have an ability, he couldn't get a supporter, not only that, but he was just like a regular human now which saddened Neon as all the other kids were bragging and taunting him with their powers. All he wanted was to be like everyone else. Despite what Neon was like, they still decided to keep Neon at the school for reasons that were already known to them such as his trait to almost insta heal and to have an exceptionally strong and fit body even as a child. Most of these things about him was the reason they kept him because they were unusual. I mean, he didn't even have an ability, yet he had a strange strong aura casting before him, and had instant healing with amazing fizique even though he should be like a regular human. But for some reason, Lucy and the others all had a lingering feeling that soon, maybe something may happen with Neon that could be useful to everyone.<br/><br/>"He could be the key to carry us from darkness and hiding in fear, to lightness, justice and salvation." Thought Lucy, as she and the others didn't give up on Neon.<br/><br/>All in a blink of an eye. 16 years had gone by.....</p>
