The world is say to big to just stay in one place.

Life is way to short to do just one thing.

The elder motions for the robed man to get up. He then says:

"Princess, this man's name is Lin Heng. He is the direct disciples of grand master Feng in this sect. You can trust him." I blink at him to show I understand.

"If the esteemed members will follow me." He makes a motion with his fore arm.

"Lead the way, we will be right behind you."

On The tour of the Qillin sect we attract a lot of attention. It seems that the elder is a big shot here as most people stop to pay respects to him as we walk by. I've learned that the elder's name is Bingwen Lei. Did his parents have foresight or what!?

I gain a lot of of gazes myself. It must be strange, a respectable elder in the sect walking with an infant in his arms. The sight must shocking. I don't mind the looks, though. I love attention.

Smiling delightedly at my audience of admirers, the action garners mixed reactions.

"Awww she's so CUTE! Look at those plump apples on her face."

"This baby sure likes attention."

"Look at her little fingers. So chubby! it makes you want to bite them."

My eyes widen in alarm at the last one. People I know I look like a whole snack right, but don't take it literally. I DO NOT TASTE LIKE CHICKEN.

Walking through the sect we head straight for the sect master's residence. His name is Shan Chao.

Lin Heng knocks on the door approximately 3 times before dropping his arms to his side. A gruffy voice answers saying "come in."

"Elder Bingwen and Princess Melia, I believe this is where we part ways. May your days be harmonious and successful." He turns around and leaves, giving us a full view of his straight back and wrinkle-free robe.

Entering the study a waft of mahogany and male musk enters my nose. I scrunch my nose I'm irritation because the scent is too strong, it is causing my eyes to water.

Shan Chao, the sect master looks up from the stack of papers loitering his desk. Once the he sees us his face breaks out into a grin.

"Senior Brother Lei, it's been a while. His are you, you old sack of bones." Ouch, that must've been a blow to his ego.

Elder puts me down in nearby chair before going up to pat his old friend on the back.

"Better than you'll ever be you old little white face."

"Me? Who are you calling innocent you mongrel." The two men who probably suffer from back aches banter back and forth for a while before I clear my throat to remind them of my presence.

"This, Melia Vint Leigh Montecristo is the daughter of that man's disciple. She is the......chosen one."

Sect Leader gazes at me in a shock and reverence, as if I'm done kind of lost treasure that has been found. I could get use to this. It was at that moment that I realized something very important. THE PLOT! How could I forget such an important matter. If I'm going to stay in this magic filled prison I need to take full advantage of my situation. Slowly I will build up hidden forces to spy on my family in my absence. Keeping an eye on all of the new maids and butlers. Once that woman appears I will make her job a living hell, but not too much as I don't want to change the plot. I still have a bone to pick with her daughter. Their death should not be easy, I want to torture then or in my words play with them a little bit first.

Hehe. Just you wait Elizabeth, you and your mom are gonna wish you never crossed the original Melia but when that time comes it'll be too late.

Snapping me out of my reveree the sect leaders voice garners my attention.

"Sorry for my actions earlier. If I had known there'd be such a high ranking person in my study I would have acted with more propriety."

"No worries, I will not take it to heart." I wave off his attempt at an apology, this small issue wasn't important.

Shan Chao's face changes to one of surprise. Oh, I forgot this was the first time he's heard me speak.

"Did she just-....Did you know that_.... Is she really...." The poor old man is suffering from great shock. His hands and legs shaking from excitement.

"I-....I thi.... I think I'll sit down for a moment. My heart can't take a lot of suprises." The elder pours a cup of water for him and passes it to the hyperventilating man. He drinks it all in one go, sighing in relief.

"Now that you know about her special identity, I think it is more than enough to give her admission into the sect."

"Of course, of course. Do you take me for a fool. Why would I let such an astounding seedling slip out of my grasp when it's being offered to be on a golden platter."

"Glad that you place me in such high regards." I say smugly. This is nice. Looks like my days here won't be so bad after all.

"Here take this." He hands me a jade token with the image of a majestic Qillin surrounded by waves of fire carved onto it with perfect precision

"This pendant means that you have a high position in the sect. You are now the direct disciple of me, the sect master. If anyone dares to bully you just take out this pendant and they will tremble in fear."

"I Thank elder for taking me under his sleeve." My baby voice says with a hint of maturness.

"I should be the one thanking you instead. Being affiliated with a person like you, I will be able to go to heaven with no worries knowing that I taught the chosen one. My ancestors will surely praise me." His face alights with excitement and I feel a surge of pride. Yep, this great one will be treated with admiration and fawning.

The elder departs after being assured that I am in good hands. Before leaving he reminds me again:

"Remember trust no one but the two people whom I have introduced you too. Their maybe other trust worthy people in this sect but for now you can only rely on the both of them. If you need any help I will be residing on sapphire mountain."

With that I am left alone to my master. His attention is averted back to his stack of papers while I read a book on cultivation and martial arts I found nearby. That's strange, how come I didn't notice this before. Guess it must be fate.

Once my tiny fingers touch the book, a shock of fireworks travel down my spine and I feel my soul sucked into the book. The whole time I am inwardly screaming; WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON! I NEVER SIGNED UP FOR THIS CRAP!!!!
