Chapter; Who was that?

Running deep into the woods I find myself nearing a cliff where the shrubs end and a clearing with grass the looks like it's seen better days, if only I took the right instead of the left, but now it's not possible to go back as I definitely sense a horrible presence...

what in the nine could it be following me through the thick bushes?

A strong breeze surrounds me and safely brings me to the lower ground which has soft green grass and is also a clearing but near the edge of a jungle, I look up from down below to see a handsome man looking over the cliff before announcing to some other people she disappeared.

"did he not see me?"

Camelio my childhood friend who is tall and has many colorful tattoos around his neck to his chest and arms. He comes out behind me scaring the living daylights out of me,

"AHHH, CAMELIO!"

Camelio reminds me "SHHHH, try not to make a scene especially after being chased!" and as the big brother figure he was just blocks me trying to claw at his glamorous hair with only the palm of his hand, "I WILL MESS IT UP SOME DAY CAMELIO!"

he just smiles and yawns to piss me off more, "well I'd like to see you try!"

I calm down revealing the notes in a leather satchel, I stole them from the upper lands palace.

"Ah good you retrieved them, you took your time though, thought you may have been captured"

after just calming down I nearly fire up again but a bit of rock falls sliding down the 10 meter tall cliff along with that handsome guy. `BANG`

He thuds landing in front of us.

me and Camelio just look at him struggling to get up, reaching up and slamming back down in pain.

"uhhh can we help you?" camelio cautiously says nearing closer.

I stay quiet behind Camelio hoping he didn't break a bone as the village is a couple of jungles away.

the man musters up the strength to get up to his knees and bows at me, clenching his abdomen in pain then looking up squinting in pain.

Camelios face goes red and in anger he moves closer, close enough to his face.

"WERE YOU EVES DROPPING?"

the man just grins,

"well yes, you guys were very loud, I just wanted to help her escape"

he looks at me and so does Camelio.

I turn even more white than I already am knowing what Camelio must be thinking.

but Camelio just chuckles and says "You really couldn't keep your urges to yourself could you? Always gotta help the next man you see!"

I go bright red and twist Camelios wrist, he yelps in pain and swiftly brings his red wrist to his mouth kissing it healing it, as the handsome man just watched in awe, then flinches in pain.

we both look at him and I ask "why did you help me escape, why are you here? wait are you hurt...?"

the man just grins and tries to get up, but he falls back in pain, he has hurt his ribs.
